Some novel imine metal chelates with Cr3+, Mn2+, Fe3+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, and Cd2+ cations were produced from 2-acetylferrocene and 3-aminophenol. The new acetylferrocene azomethine ligand ((Z)-cyclopenta-1,3-dien-1-yl(2-(1-((3-hydroxyphenyl)imino)ethyl)cyclopenta-2,4-dien-1-yl)iron) and its metal ion chelates were constructed and elucidated using FT-IR, UV/Vis, 1HNMR, DTA/TGA, CHNClM studies, mass spectrometry and SEM analysis. According to the TGA/DTG investigation, the ferrocene moiety spontaneously disintegrates to liberate FeO. The morphology of the free acetylferrocene azomethine via SEM analysis was net-shaped with a size of 64.73 nm, which differed in Cd(II) complex to be a spongy shape with a size of 42.43 nm. The quantum chemical features of the azomethine ligand (HL) were computed, and its electronic and molecular structure was refined theoretically. The investigated acetylferrocene imine ligand behaves as bidinetate ligand towards the cations under study to form octahedral geometries in case of all complexes except in case of Zn2+ is tetrahedral. Various microorganisms were used to investigate the anti-pathogenic effects of the free acetylferrocene azomethine ligand and its metal chelates. Moreover, the prepared ligand and its metal complexes were tested for anticancer activity utilizing four different concentrations against the human breast cancer cell line (MCF7) and the normal melanocyte cell line (HBF4). Furthermore, the binding of 3-aminophenol, 2-acetylferrocene, HL, Mn2+, Cu2+, and Cd2+ metal chelates to the receptor of breast cancer mutant oxidoreductase was discovered using molecular docking (PDB ID: 3HB5). The newly synthesized organometallic acetyl ferrocene imine ligand (HL) was obtained by the direct combination of 2-acetyl ferrocene with 2-aminothiophenol. The electronic and molecular structure of acetyl ferrocene imine ligand (HL) was refined theoretically and the chemical quantum factors were computed. Complexes of the acetyl ferrocene imine ligand with metal(II)/(III) ions (Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II)) were fabricated. They were inspected by thermal (DTG/TG), spectroscopic techniques (FT-IR, 1H NMR, mass, UV–Vis), molar conductivity, and CHNClM to explicate their structures. Studies using scanning electron microscope (SEM) were conducted on the free acetyl ferrocene imine ligand and its Cd(II) chelate to confirm their nano-structure. To collect an idea about the effect of metal ions on anti-pathogenic properties upon chelation, the newly synthesized acetyl ferrocene imine ligand and some of its metal chelates were tested against a variety of microorganisms, including Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella typhimurium, Escherichia coli, Aspergillus fumigatus, and Candida albicans. The ligand and its metal chelate were tested for cytotoxic activity in human cancer (MCF-7 cell viability) and human melanocyte cell line HBF4. It was discovered that the Cd(II) chelate had the lowest IC50 of the three and thus had the prior activity. The growth of the textile industry results in a massive accumulation of dyes on water. This enormous rise in pigments is the primary source of water pollution, affecting the aquatic lives and our ecosystem balance. This study aims to notify the fabrication of neodymium incorporated copper oxide (Nd2O3 doped CuO) nanoparticles by combustion method for effective degradation of dye, methylene blue (MB). X-ray diffraction (XRD), Field emission Scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Zeta potential have been applied for characterization. Photocatalyst validity has been evaluated for methylene blue degradation (MB). Test conditions such as time of contact, H2O2, pH, and photo-Fenton have been modified to identify optimal degradation conditions. Noticeably, 7.5% Nd2O3 doped CuO nanoparticle demonstrated the highest photocatalytic efficiency, up to 90.8% in 80 min, with a 0.0227 min−1 degradation rate. However, the photocatalytic efficiency at pH 10 becomes 99% with a rate constant of 0.082 min−1. Cyclic experiments showed the Nd2O3 doped CuO nanoparticle's stability over repeated use. The goal of this study was to synthesize a UV-light-active ZnO photocatalyst by modifying it with nitrogen and graphene, then applying it to the degradation of carmine dye utilizing two promising technologies: photocatalysis and electrochemical oxidation (E.O.). Different techniques were used to analyze the prepared photocatalysts, such as Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). According to XRD measurements, the produced nanocomposite possesses a hexagonal wurtzite structure, indicating ZnO and markedly crystalline. For photocatalytic applications, the results revealed that the 0.001 g of G/N-doped ZnO catalyst achieved 66.76% degradation of carmine and kinetic degradation rates of 0.007 min−1 within 185 min by photocatalysis under UV light irradiation. In comparison, the same sample reached 100% degradation of carmine and kinetic degradation rates of 0.202 min−1 within 15 min using the electrochemical oxidation method. The improved photocatalytic activity of as-produced nanocomposites can be attributed to intermediate levels in the prohibited bandgap energy and the enhanced oxygen vacancies caused by nitrogen doping. The electrolyte (NaCl) on the degradation of the carmine dye was tested, and the findings indicated that the dye molecules were photodegraded by the 0.001 g of G/N-doped ZnO nanocomposite after a 15 min time interval. The data presented in this work for the carmine breakdown in water give intriguing contrasts between photocatalytic, indirect electrochemical oxidation, and photoelectrochemical oxidation. The action of chlorinated oxidative species, predominantly HClO, which were electrogenerated at the electrode surface due to the chloride ion's oxidation in solution, induced indirect electrochemical oxidation degradation. This study also revealed that the modifications made to ZnO were beneficial by improving its photocatalytic activities under UV light, as well as a comparison of photocatalysis and electrochemical oxidation processes to determine which technique is best for treating carmine in effluents with high chloride ions. An electrically small patch antenna with a low-cost high-permittivity ceramic substrate material for use in a ground-penetrating radar is proposed in this work. The antenna is based on a commercial ceramic 915 MHz patch antenna with a size of 25 × 25 × 4 mm3 and a weight of 12.9 g. The influences of the main geometric parameters on the antenna's electromagnetic characteristics were comprehensively studied. Three bandwidth improvement techniques were sequentially applied to optimize the antenna: tuning the key geometric parameters, adding cuts on the edges, and adding parasitic radiators. The designed antenna operates at around 1.3 GHz and has more than 40 MHz continuous − 3 dB bandwidth. In comparison to the original antenna, the − 3 and − 6 dB fractional bandwidth is improved by 1.8 times and 4 times, respectively. Two antennas of the proposed design together with a customized radar were installed on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for a quick search for survivors after earthquakes or gas explosions without exposing the rescue staff to the uncertain dangers of moving on the debris.
