This study evaluates the effectiveness of artificial Kandelia obovata forests in wave attenuation through physical model experiments conducted in a wave flume. The experiments meticulously replicated real-world hydrodynamic conditions and mangrove movement responses using the principles of gravitational and motion similarity, with a scaled 1:10 model of Kandelia obovata. Our approach included comparative experiments against a 1:100 gradient concrete slope to isolate the effects of seabed friction and flume wall reflections. The wave height was measured using strategically placed wave gauges. The findings indicated that the artificial Kandelia obovata forests significantly attenuated waves, with a decrease in the total attenuation capacity as the water depth increased from 2.75 m to 3.28 m under both regular and irregular waves. The elastic mangrove model with a canopy effect led to a 15% increase in wave attenuation over cylindrical models. Oligosaccharides, as a wide type of polysaccharide, have a broad antimicrobial spectrum and promote development as plant growth stimulants. To investigate the regulation effects of different oligosaccharides on the dynamic changes of chlorophyll content, leaf fluorescence, root activity and morphology, and chloroplast ultrastructure, as well as the yields and yield components of strawberry and cucumber, typical greenhouse experiments were conducted over two years (2021–2022). The experimental plants were foliar sprayed with tap water (CK), chitosan oligosaccharide (CSOS), and mixed oligosaccharides (MixOS) five times before flowering. The conventional management (CM) was conducted as a conventional control. The findings of the present study suggest that the application of MixOS has the greatest regulation effects on delayed leaf senescence, well-developed roots, and higher fruit productions of strawberry and cucumber. Exogenous MixOS resulted in significant increases in SPAD values, maximum photochemical efficiency (Fv/Fm), and photochemical quenching coefficiency (qP); they were increased by 1.94–28.96%, 5.41–33.89%, and 9.93–62.07%, compared to the CSOS, CM, and CK treatments, respectively. The orderly and steady structure of thylakoids in the chloroplast, and the randomly distributed starch grains, could be clearly observed in the MixOS treatment, while the non-photochemical quenching (NPQ) was correspondingly reduced by 19.04–45.92%. Meanwhile, the remarkable promotion of root activity and root surface morphology indicators (i.e., root length, surface area, average diameter, and volume) could be observed when exposed to the MixOS treatments, and the total yields of strawberry and cucumber were all increased by 12.40–25.57%. Soil texture affects rice nutrient uptake and yield formation by influencing soil structure, microbial activity, and soil nutrient supply capacity. Analyzing the relationship between soil texture, nutrient content, and rice agronomic traits is of great significance for precise and efficient fertilizer application. The tillage layer (0–20 cm) of 31 paddy fields in China's main rice-producing areas was collected to perform rice pot experiments, and soil texture characteristics, physicochemical properties, microbial-related indicators, and rice agronomic traits were measured and analyzed. The results showed that these soils could be classified into four types of soil texture: loamy sandy soil, sandy loam soil, silty loam soil, and silty soil. Analysis of variance showed that the available nitrogen (AN), available potassium (AK), and available phosphorus (AP) contents were the highest in silty loam, silty, and sandy loam soils, respectively, and silt loamy soil had the highest CEC. Principal component analysis (PCA) also showed that soil physicochemical properties can be distinguished to a certain extent according to soil texture types. For the relationship of soil texture parameters and soil physicochemical properties, soil organic matter (OM), total nitrogen (TN), AN, ammonium nitrogen (NH4+-N), and microbial carbon (MBC) contents were positively correlated with soil clay content, AK was positively correlated with silt content, and soil phosphorus status was significantly related to pH. Mantel's test revealed significant correlations between rice N, P, and K nutrient status, dry matter accumulation, and yield, and soil available nutrient content, MBC, pH, and soil texture parameters. Structural equation modeling (SEM) indicated that sand affected soil available nutrients by regulating pH, while clay can positively influence soil available nutrients by affecting soil organic matter mineralization and microbial activity, thus influencing nutrient absorption and yield formation in rice. Overall, in rice production, the silty and silty loam paddy soil with fine texture and higher clay content facilitates the mineralization of soil organic matter and the activity of soil microbes, resulting in more available soil nutrients, which benefits the rice absorption and accumulation of nutrients. Pyroelectric materials are naturally electrically polarized and exhibits a built-in spontaneous polarization in their unit cell structure even in the absence of any externally applied electric field. These materials are regarded as one of the ideal detector elements for infrared applications because they have a fast response time and uniform sensitivity at room temperature across all wavelengths. Crystals of the perovskite lead titanate (PbTi O 3 ) family show pyroelectric characteristics and undergo structural phase transitions. They have a high Curie temperature (the temperature at which the material changes from the ferroelectric (polar) to the paraelectric (nonpolar) phase), high pyroelectric coefficient, high spontaneous polarization, low dielectric constant, and constitute important component materials not only useful for infrared detection, but also with vast applications in electronic, optic, and MEMS devices. However, the preparation of large perfect and pure single crystals PbTi O 3 is challenging. Additionally, difficulties arise in the application of such bulk crystals in terms of connection to processing circuits, large size, and high voltages required for their operation. In this part of the review paper, we explain the electrical behavior and characterization techniques commonly utilized to unravel the pyroelectric properties of lead titanate and its derivatives. Further, it explains how the material preparation techniques affect the electrical characteristics of resulting thin films. Preharvest threshing is a harvesting method that focuses on collecting rice grains while leaving the rice straw unharvested. Investigating the interaction mechanism between the machine and rice during the operation process and its correlation with harvest losses is crucial for enhancing harvest quality. In this study, structural design and operational mechanism analysis of the combs was conducted through theoretical analysis. By extracting the relevant parameters of rice plants, a model of entire-plant rice during the harvesting period was established based on the discrete element method (DEM). Numerical simulation studies were conducted to clarify the interaction mechanism between the machinery and rice at different operating stages and under various operating parameters, as well as the impact of this interaction on operational quality. The simulation results revealed that various operating parameters had a significant impact on the sliding-cut effect between the combs and rice. A higher cylinder rotation speed enhanced the effect, whereas increased forward velocity hampered it. Additionally, the effect initially improved and then decreased with a higher threshing height. In the bench test, high-speed cameras were used to verify and further analyze the comb–rice interaction mechanism and explore the optimal working parameter combination. The results showed that at a rotation speed of 616 r/min, a forward velocity of 0.91 m/s, and a threshing height of 792 mm, the grain loss rate was 1.997%, and the impurity rate was 4.073%. In order to solve the problems of poor hole-filling performance and the high seed-breakage rate of conventional rice bud seed precision hole direct seed-metering devices, a side-filled rice precision hole direct seed-metering device was developed, and the mechanism and force analyses for seeding operations were carried out. The key factors affecting seeding quality were determined: rotation speed, seeding angle and seeding height. By coupling the discrete element method (DEM) and multi-rigid body dynamics (MBD), the seed breakage rate and seeding performance at different rotation speeds were analyzed. Single-factor bench testing was used to analyze the effect of a duckbill unit on seeding performance under different factor levels. The three-factor and five-level quadratic regression orthogonal rotation center combination test methods were used to obtain the optimal working parameter combination. The test results showed that when the rotation speed was 47 r/min, the seeding angle was 19°, and the seeding height was 180 mm, the qualified index of seeding was 92.03%, the hole diameter qualified index was 91.62%, and the hole distance variation index was 7.17%. By addressing these aspects, the review article aims to contribute to the understanding of the challenges in the field of pyroelectric materials, highlight potential solutions, and showcase the advancements and potentials of pyroelectric perovskite series including PbZrTiO3 (PZT), P b x C a 1 − x (PZN-PT), etc. for which PbTi O 3 is the end member. The review is presented in two parts. Part 1 focuses on material aspects, including preparation methods using magnetron sputtering and material characterization. We take a tutorial approach to discuss the progress made in epitaxial growth of lead titanate-based ceramics prepared by magnetron sputtering and examine how processing conditions may affect the crystalline quality of the growing film by linking to the properties of the substrate/buffer layer, growth substrate temperature, and the oxygen partial pressure in the gas mixture. Neutrophils display heterogeneity and plasticity with different subgroups and immune-regulatory functions under various surrounding conditions. Neutrophils induced by IL-23/IL-18 (referred to N(IL-23+IL-18) neutrophils) have a unique gene-expression profile, with highly expressing IL-17, MHC-II, and costimulatory molecules. The adoptive transfer of N(IL-23+IL-18) neutrophils significantly increased the pathogenesis in a renal ischemia–reperfusion injury mouse model. N(IL-23+IL-18) neutrophils directly and efficiently induced allogeneic T cell proliferation in vitro. N(IL-23+IL-18) neutrophils enhanced the syngeneic T cell response to allogeneic antigens in mixed-lymphocyte reaction assays. The adoptive transfer of the donor or host N(IL-23+IL-18) neutrophils significantly enhanced the antidonor antibody production in an allogeneic-skin-transplanted mouse model, accompanied by increased Tfh cells in the spleens. Heat shock transcription factors are key players in a number of transcriptional regulatory pathways that function during plant growth and development. However, their mode of action in Rhododendron simsii is still unclear. In this study, 22 RsHsf genes were identified from genomic data of R. simsii. The 22 genes were randomly distributed on 12 chromosomes, and were divided into three major groups according to their phylogenetic relationships. The structures and conserved motifs were predicted for the 22 genes. Analysis of cis-acting elements revealed stress-responsive and phytohormone-responsive elements in the gene promoter regions, but the types and number varied among the different groups of genes. Transcriptional profile analyses revealed that RsHsfs were expressed in a tissue-specific manner, with particularly high transcript levels in the roots. The transcriptional profiles under abiotic stress were detected by qRT-PCR, and the results further validated the critical function of RsHsfs. This study provides basic information about RsHsf family in R. simsii, and paves the way for further research to clarify their precise roles and to breed new stress-tolerant varieties. The μ − synchronization issues of non-dissipative coupled networks with bounded disturbances and mixed delays are studied in this article. Different from existing works, three kinds of time delays, including internal delays, coupling delays, and impulsive sampling delays, have unidentified bounds and even evolve towards infinity over time, making the concerned network more practical. Considering μ − stability theory and impulse inequality techniques, a hybrid non-delayed and time-delayed impulsive controller including both current and historical state information is designed, and several novel sufficient conditions are derived to make nonlinear complex networks achieve μ − synchronization. Moreover, not only can the constriction of dissipative coupling conditions on network topology be relaxed, but also the restriction of various time delays on impulsive intervals can be weakened, which makes the theoretical achievements in this article more general than the previous achievements. With the continuous advancement of deep learning technology, researchers have made further progress in the hyperspectral image (HSI) classification domain. We propose a double-branch multi-scale residual network (DBMSRN) framework for HSI classification to improve classification accuracy and reduce the number of required training samples. The DBMSRN consists of two branches designed to extract spectral and spatial features from the HSI. Thus, to obtain more comprehensive feature information, we extracted additional local and global features at different scales by expanding the network width. Moreover, we also increased the network depth to capture deeper feature information. Based on this concept, we devise spectral multi-scale residuals and spatial multi-scale residuals within a double-branch architecture. Additionally, skip connections are employed to augment the context information of the network. We demonstrate that the proposed framework effectively enhances classification accuracy in scenarios with limited training samples through experimental analysis. The proposed framework achieves an overall accuracy of 98.67%, 98.09%, and 96.76% on the Pavia University (PU), Kennedy Space Center (KSC), and Indian Pines (IP) datasets, respectively, surpassing the classification accuracy of existing advanced frameworks under identical conditions. Autonomous driving technology heavily relies on the accurate perception of traffic environments, mainly through roadside cameras and LiDARs. Although several popular and robust 2D and 3D object detection methods exist, including R-CNN, YOLO, SSD, PointPillar, and VoxelNet, the perception range and accuracy of an individual vehicle can be limited by blocking from other vehicles or buildings. A solution is to harness roadside perception infrastructures for vehicle–infrastructure cooperative perception, using edge computing for real-time intermediate features extraction and V2X networks for transmitting these features to vehicles. This emerging migratory perception paradigm requires deploying exclusive cooperative perception services on edge servers and involves the migration of perception services to reduce response time. In such a setup, competition among multiple cooperative perception services exists due to limited edge resources. This study proposes a multi-agent reinforcement learning (MADRL)-based service scheduling method for migratory perception in vehicle–infrastructure cooperative perception, utilizing a discrete time-varying graph to model the relationship between service nodes and edge server nodes. This MADRL-based approach can efficiently address the challenges of service placement and migration in resource-limited environments, minimize latency, and maximize resource utilization for migratory perception services on edge servers. Filtering from airborne LiDAR datasets in urban area is one important process during the building of digital and smart cities. However, the existing filters encounter poor filtering performance and heavy computational burden when processing large-scale and complicated urban environments. To tackle this issue, a self-adaptive filtering method based on object primitive global energy minimization is proposed in this paper. In this paper, mode points were first acquired for generating the mode graph. The mode points were the cluster centers of the LiDAR data obtained in a mean shift algorithm. The graph constructed with mode points was named "mode graph" in this paper. By defining the energy function based on the mode graph, the filtering process is transformed to iterative global energy minimization. In each iteration, the graph cuts technique was adopted to achieve global energy minimization. Meanwhile, the probability of each point belonging to the ground was updated, which would lead to a new refined ground surface using the points whose probabilities were greater than 0.5. This process was iterated until two successive fitted ground surfaces were determined to be close enough. Four urban samples with different urban environments were adopted for verifying the effectiveness of the filter developed in this paper. Experimental results indicate that the developed filter obtained the best filtering performance. The rapid expansion of the applications of infrared (IR) sensing in the commercial market has driven the need to develop new materials and detector designs for enhanced performance. In this work, we describe the design of a microbolometer that uses two cavities to suspend two layers (sensing and absorber). Here, we implemented the finite element method (FEM) from COMSOL Multiphysics to design the microbolometer. We varied the layout, thickness, and dimensions (width and length) of different layers one at a time to study the heat transfer effect for obtaining the maximum figure of merit. This work reports the design, simulation, and performance analysis of the figure of merit of a microbolometer that uses GexSiySnzOr thin films as the sensing layer. From our design, we obtained an effective thermal conductance of 1.0135 × 10 − 7   W / K , a time constant of 11   m s , responsivity of 5.040 × 10 5   V / W , and detectivity of 9.357 × 10 7   c m − H z 1 / 2 / W considering a 2   μ A bias current. Although studies have shown that lactoferrin (LF) and fucoidan (FD) can be used to stabilize Pickering emulsions, there have been no studies on the stabilization of Pickering emulsions via the use of LF–FD complexes. In this study, different LF–FD complexes were obtained by adjusting the pH and heating the LF and FD mixture while using different mass ratios, and the properties of the LF–FD complexes were investigated. The results showed that the optimal conditions for preparing the LF–FD complexes were a mass ratio of 1:1 (LF to FD) and a pH of 3.2. Under these conditions, the LF–FD complexes not only had a uniform particle size of 133.27 ± 1.45 nm but also had good thermal stability (the thermal denaturation temperature was 110.3 °C) and wettability (the air-water contact angle was 63.9 ± 1.90°). The concentration of the LF–FD complexes and the ratio of the oil phase influenced the stability and rheological properties of the Pickering emulsion such that both can be adjusted to prepare a Pickering emulsion with good performance. Single-atom nanozymes (SAzymes) have drawn ever-increasing attention due to their maximum atom utilization efficiency and enhanced enzyme-like activity. Herein, a facile pyrolysis strategy is reported for the synthesis of the iron–nitrogen–carbon (Fe-N-C) SAzyme using ferrocene trapped within porous zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8@Fc) as a precursor. The as-prepared Fe-N-C SAzyme exhibited exceptional oxidase-mimicking activity, catalytically oxidizing 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) with high affinity (Km) and fast reaction rate (Vmax). Taking advantage of this property, we designed two colorimetric sensing assays based on different interaction modes between small molecules and Fe active sites. Firstly, utilizing the reduction activity of ascorbic acid (AA) toward oxidized TMB (TMBox), a colorimetric bioassay for AA detection was established, which exhibited a good linear range of detection from 0.1 to 2 μM and a detection limit as low as 0.1 μM. Additionally, based on the inhibition of nanozyme activity by the thiols of glutathione (GSH), a colorimetric biosensor for GSH detection was constructed, showing a linear response over a concentration range of 1–10 μM, with a detection limit of 1.3 μM. Typically, the practical lithium-ion capacitor (LIC) is composed of a capacitive cathode (activated carbon, AC) and a battery-type anode (graphite, soft carbon, hard carbon). There is a risk of the LIC cell overcharging to an unsafe voltage under electrical abuse conditions. Since the anode potential is usually quite low during the charging process and can be controlled by adjusting the amount of anode materials, the overcharge performances of LIC full-cell mainly depend on the AC cathode. Thus, it is necessary to independently investigate the overcharge behaviors of the AC cathode in nonaqueous Li-ion electrolytes without the interference of the anode electrode. In this work, the stable upper potential limits of the AC electrode in three types of lithium-ion electrolytes were determined to be 4.0−4.1 V via the energy efficiency method. Then, the AC//Li half-cells were charged to 5.0 V and 10.0 V, respectively, to investigate the overcharge behaviors. For the half-cells with propylene carbonate (PC)-based electrolytes, the voltage increased sharply to 10.0 V with a vertical straight line at the end of the overcharging process, indicating that the deposits of electrolyte decomposition had separated the AC electrode surface from the electrolytes, forming a self-protective passivation film with a dielectric capacitor behavior. The dense and compact passivation film is significant in separating the AC electrode surface from the electrolytes and preventing LIC cells from volume expansion and explosion risks under electrical abuse and overcharging conditions. Photogrammetric techniques for weakly-textured surfaces without sufficient information about the R (red), G (green) and B (blue) primary colors of light are challenging. Considering that most urban or indoor object surfaces follow simple geometric shapes, a novel method for reconstructing smooth homogeneous planar surfaces based on MVS (Multi-View Stereo) is proposed. The idea behind it is to extract enough features for the image description, and to refine the dense points generated by the depth values of pixels with plane fitting, to favor the alignment of the surface to the detected planes. The SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) and AKAZE (Accelerated-KAZE) feature extraction algorithms are combined to ensure robustness and help retrieve connections in small samples. The smoothness of the enclosed watertight Poisson surface can be enhanced by enforcing the 3D points to be projected onto the absolute planes detected by a RANSAC (Random Sample Consensus)-based approach. Experimental evaluations of both cloud-to-mesh comparisons in the per-vertex distances with the ground truth models and visual comparisons with a popular mesh filtering based post-processing method indicate that the proposed method can considerably retain the integrity and smoothness of the reconstruction results. Combined with other primitive fittings, the reconstruction extent of homogeneous surfaces can be further extended, serving as primitive models for 3D building reconstruction, and providing guidance for future works in photogrammetry and 3D surface reconstruction. The prevalence of inevitable natural and social disasters is increasing at an alarming rate. With the proliferation of media and Internet technologies, there is a growing awareness of the importance of disaster training. The paper aims to combine the techniques of immersive Virtual Reality (VR) and team-based role-playing to demonstrate a comprehensive disaster training schema to help participants practice safety skills and learn proper decision-making skills in the face of disasters. A VR dome and cylinder combined multidisplay system iwDome was used to immerse participants and provide a view of the overall training; the role of each team was presented through the appropriate Head Mounted Display (HMD) and connected desktop. Rather than just being passive spectators or game players, the participants received puzzles in the virtual scenario that required intra-team and inter-team collaboration to be solved. The scenarios applicable to the system were not restricted to a specific type of disaster, but could be customized, revealing significant application prospects. To test the motivation for improvement, a quality assessment and user experience survey were conducted. The results indicate that participants were more engaged through cooperation in the virtual training environment and could achieve greater learning gains. The correlation of age to user studies was also confirmed. The enhanced enthusiasm of participants for what is relatively standard disaster management demonstrates the promise of using team role-playing-based VR training for vital, but otherwise tedious disaster safety training. Affected by Tianshan uplift, the southern Junggar Basin has experienced multi-stage tectonic movements and formed many large-scale anticlines with zonal distribution. The key to hydrocarbon exploration is to accurately implement anticline traps. This paper is guided by the fault-related folds theory to tectonically interpret several seismic profiles in the southern Junggar Basin and then summarize the anticline types and their hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics. This paper showed that the southern Junggar Basin has a tectonic assemblage pattern of "multi-detachment layers and multi-phase superposition". According to the superimposed shape of the anticlines, they could be divided into overthrust anticlines, compound anticlines and multiple superimposed anticlines, and the horizontal and vertical positions of the different types of anticlines are different. The hydrocarbon accumulating characteristics of the different types of anticlines are shown to be different. The highs of the overthrust anticlines and compound anticlines are stable, and the degree of exploration is relatively high. Although the degree of exploration of multiple overlapping anticlines is low, multiple layers can be exploited simultaneously in the process of oil development, with great hydrocarbon potential. The characteristics of hydrocarbon accumulation in the southern Junggar Basin are discussed in order to provide guidance for efficient hydrocarbon exploration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

One of the critical elements in evaluating the quality of cashmere is its fineness, but we still know little about how it is regulated at the metabolic level. In this paper, we use UHPLC–MS/MS detection and analysis technology to compare the difference in metabolites between coarse cashmere (CT_LCG) and fine cashmere (FT_LCG) skin of Liaoning cashmere goats. According to the data, under positive mode four metabolites were significantly up-regulated and seven were significantly down-regulated. In negative mode, seven metabolites were significantly up-regulated and fourteen metabolites were significantly down-regulated. The incidence of hyperuricemia has increased globally due to changes in dietary habits. The sacha inchi oil press-cake is generally discarded, resulting in the waste of resources and adverse environmental impact. For the purpose of developing sacha inchi oil press-cake and identifying natural components with anti-hyperuricemic activities, we systemically investigated the underlying mechanisms of sacha inchi oil press-cake protein hydrolysates (SISH) in the hyperuricemic rat model. SISH was obtained from sacha inchi oil press-cake proteins after trypsin treatment, and 24 peptides with small molecular weight (<1000 Da) were identified. The results of animal experiments showed that SISH significantly decreased the serum uric acid (UA) level by inhibiting the xanthine oxidase (XOD) activity and regulating the gene expression related to UA production and catabolism in hyperuricemia rats, such as Xdh and Hsh. In addition, SISH attenuated the renal damage and reduced the gene expression related to inflammation (Tlr4, Map3k8, Pik3cg, Pik3ap1, Ikbke, and Nlrp3), especially Tlr4, which has been considered a receptor of UA. Notably, SISH reversed high purine-induced gut microbiota dysbiosis, particularly by enhancing the relative abundance of butyric acid-producing bacteria (unidentified_Ruminococcaceae, Oscillibacter, Ruminiclostridium, Intestinimonas). This study aimed to explore the effects and mechanisms of differently shaped aggregates of ovotransferrin (OVT) particles on oleogel-based Pickering emulsions (OPEs). Medium-chain triglyceride oil-based oleogels were constructed using beeswax, and their gel-sol melting temperatures were investigated. Atomic force microscopy confirmed that both OVT fibrils and OVT spheres were successfully prepared, and the three-phase contact angle measurements indicated that fibrous and spherical aggregates of OVT particles possessed great potential to stabilize the OPEs. Afterward, the oil-in-water OPEs were fabricated using oleogel as the oil phase and OVT fibrils/spheres as the emulsifiers. The results revealed that OPEs stabilized with OVT fibrils (FIB-OPEs) presented a higher degree of emulsification, smaller droplet size, better physical stability and stronger apparent viscosity compared with OPEs stabilized with OVT spheres (SPH-OPEs). The freeze–thaw stability test showed that the FIB-OPEs remained stable after three freeze–thaw cycles, while the SPH-OPEs could barely withstand one freeze–thaw cycle. Chlorpropham is a carbamate herbicide that inhibits cell division and has been widely used as a potato sprout suppressant. Recently we showed that the microalga Dunaliella salina treated with chlorpropham massively accumulated the colourless carotenoids phytoene and phytofluene. Phytoene and phytofluene are valued for their antioxidant, UV-absorption and skin protectant properties; however, they are present in very low quantities in nature. The low toxicity herbicide chlorpropham seems a promising catalyst to produce phytoene in large quantities from CO2 and solar energy with D. salina. This study explored chlorpropham uptake by the algal cells, the formation of potential intermediate metabolites, and the removal of residual chlorpropham from harvested D. salina biomass. Algal biomass rapidly concentrated chlorpropham from culture media. However, washing the harvested biomass with fresh culture medium twice and five times removed ~83 and ~97% of the chlorpropham from the biomass, respectively, and retained algal cell integrity. Furthermore, chloroaniline, a common metabolite of chlorpropham degradation, was not detected in chlorpropham-treated cultures, which were monitored every two days for thirty days. Cells treated with chlorpropham for either 10 min or 24 h continued to over-accumulate phytoene after resuspension in an herbicide-free medium. These data imply that whilst Dunaliella cells do not possess the intracellular capacity to degrade chlorpropham to chloroaniline, the effect of chlorpropham is irreversible on cell nuclear division and hence on carotenoid metabolism. Featured Application: This study provides references for the design and development of paddy field weeding components and for mechanical and soil coupling simulation in paddy fields. To solve the problems of poor quality mechanical weeding and no obvious plowing effect in complex paddy field environments, the burying weeding operation mode was proposed. The height and force acting on the weeds were the main factors that altered the effectiveness of burying. The structure of the rake teeth weeding wheel was designed and matched with appropriate power, and the rake teeth weeding device was optimized. To verify the rationality of the designed device, the forward speed of the machine, rotating speed of the weeding wheels and weeding depth were selected as the experimental factors, and the inter row weeding rate was selected as the experimental index. A quadratic orthogonal rotation combination experiment with three factors and five levels was designed and optimized. The results showed that when the forward speed was 0.64 m/s, the rotational speed of the weeding wheel was 140 r/min, the weeding depth was 56.8 mm, the inter row weeding rate predicted by the model was 88.43%, and the inter row weeding rate was determined by a confirmatory experiment to be 87.06%, which met the weeding requirements for modern agronomy. To intuitively analyze how the soil was disturbed by the weeding wheel, the explicit dynamic analysis software LS-DYNA was used to build a fluid–solid coupling simulation model of the weeding wheel and water soil. The soil density and coupling stress were used to analyze the plowing state of paddy soil when the weeding wheel was operated. Chlorophyll fluorescence (CF) has been applied to measure the chlorophyll content of seeds, in order to determine seed maturity, but the high price of equipment limits its wider application. Astragalus seeds were used to explore the applicability of digital image analysis technology to the prediction of seed chlorophyll content and to supply a low cost and alternative method. Our research comprised scanning and extracting the characteristic features of Astragalus seeds, determining the chlorophyll content, and establishing a predictive model of chlorophyll content in Astragalus seeds based on characteristic features. The results showed that the R2 of the MLR prediction model established with multiple features was ≥0.947, and the R2 of the MLP model was ≥0.943. By sorting of two single features, the R and G values, the R2 reached 0.969 and 0.965, respectively. A germination result showed that the lower the chlorophyll content, the higher the quality of the seeds. Therefore, we draw a conclusion that digital image analysis technology can be used to predict effectively the chlorophyll content of Astragalus seeds, and provide a reference for the selection of mature and viable Astragalus seeds. Featured Application: This study provides a method for the determination of restitution coefficient of small grain, and provides a reference for the optimization design of threshing cylinder and cleaning device of combine harvester and high-speed precision seeder. It is difficult to determine the coefficient of restitution accurately due to the small size, light weight, and complex influencing factors of rice grain. In the study, the experimental principle of restitution coefficient was described by the impact method, and the restitution coefficients of four typical rice varieties in Northeast China were measured. According to the orthogonal experiment, the primary and secondary factors affecting the restitution coefficient of rice grain were collision material, spring compression (initial collision velocity), moisture content, and rice variety. A single factor test was carried out for the significant factors, and the results showed that: The restitution coefficient of rice grain to a Q235 steel plate, plexiglass plate, seed plate, and rubber plate decreased in turn, and the restitution coefficient gradually decreased with the increase of spring compression (initial collision velocity), and with the increase of water content. The restitution coefficient was obtained by a bench test and simulation test, and the results were 0.429 and 0.423, respectively. The reason for the error was discussed and analyzed, which effectively verified the validity of the measurement of the restitution coefficient of small grain size. The halotolerant microalga Dunaliella salina has been widely studied for natural β-carotene production. This work shows biochemical characterization of three newly isolated Dunaliella salina strains, DF15, DF17, and DF40, compared with D. salina CCAP 19/30 and D. salina UTEX 2538 (also known as D. bardawil). Although all three new strains have been genetically characterized as Dunaliella salina strains, their ability to accumulate carotenoids and their capacity for photoprotection against high light stress are different. DF15 and UTEX 2538 reveal great potential for producing a large amount of β-carotene and maintained a high rate of photosynthesis under light of high intensity; however, DF17, DF40, and CCAP 19/30 showed increasing photoinhibition with increasing light intensity, and reduced contents of carotenoids, in particular β-carotene, suggesting that the capacity of photoprotection is dependent on the cellular content of carotenoids, in particular β-carotene. Strong positive correlations were found between the cellular content of all-trans β-carotene, 9-cis β-carotene, all-trans α-carotene and zeaxanthin but not lutein in the D. salina strains. Lutein was strongly correlated with respiration in photosynthetic cells and strongly related to photosynthesis, chlorophyll and respiration, suggesting an important and not hitherto identified role for lutein in coordinated control of the cellular functions of photosynthesis and respiration in response to changes in light conditions, which is broadly conserved in Dunaliella strains. Statistical analysis based on biochemical data revealed a different grouping strategy from the genetic classification of the strains. The planetary gear train is often used as the main device for decelerating and increasing the torque of the drive motor of electric vehicles. Considering the lightweight requirement and existing uncertainty in structural design, a multi-objective uncertainty optimization design (MUOD) framework is developed for the planetary gear train of the electric vehicle in this study. The volume and transmission efficiency of the planetary gear train are taken into consideration as optimization objectives. The manufacturing size, material, and load input of the planetary gear train are considered as uncertainties. An approximate direct decoupling model, based on subinterval Taylor expansion, is applied to evaluate the propagation of uncertainties. To improve the convergence ability of the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm, the improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II) is designed by using chaotic and adaptive strategies. The improved NSGA-II has better convergence efficiency than classical NSGA-II and multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO). In addition, the multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) method is applied to choose the most satisfactory solution in Pareto sets from the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm. Compared with the multi-objective deterministic optimization design (MDOD), the proposed MUOD framework has better reliability than MDOD under different uncertainty cases. This MUOD method enables further guidance pertaining to the uncertainty optimization design of transportation equipment, containing gear reduction mechanisms, in order to reduce the failure risk. Agricultural clusters play a powerful role in promoting the agricultural transformation and rejuvenation of rural areas. However, no in-depth exploration has been made on how agricultural clusters form and evolve, especially in the context of China's long-term small-scale rural economy. The purpose of this article is to reveal the formation process and evolution mechanism of agricultural clusters by case study research. With the knowledge flow as the starting point, this article takes the Vegetable Cluster in Shouguang City of Shandong Province, China as an example to construct a theoretical framework in the three dimensions of points (spin-offs of enterprises or farmers), lines (network-spillovers of various innovation) and planes (the formation of new regional industry spaces) and put forward theoretical hypotheses. It is shown that: (1) The local spin-off of seed farmers is the main path in the transformation of traditional farmers into enterprises. (2) The network-spillover and adoption of innovative knowledge promote the derivation of specialized farmers or enterprises and realize regional agricultural specialization and spatial agglomeration. (3) The formation of the agricultural cluster resulted from the joint effects of spin-off derived from the entrepreneurial spirit of the farmers, network-spillover of various agricultural innovations and spatial integration of the agricultural landscape. The formation of local agricultural innovation systems marks the maturity of an agricultural cluster. This article contribute to the field by studying one source of Alfred Marshall's knowledge of external economy from the perspective of spin-offs and innovative spillovers, analyzing the agricultural increasing returns to scale neglected by Krugman, and exploring the micro mechanism of farmers' enterprise-oriented evolution and the formation of agricultural clusters in underdeveloped rural areas. Strains of Dunaliella salina microalgae are of considerable research and industrial interest because they hyper-accumulate β-carotene as well as produce high-quality protein. To explore the co-production of valuable compounds in D. salina, this study compared the production of β-carotene, phytoene and amino acids in two strains cultivated under white, red or blue light until no further nitrogen was available. D. salina DF15 (CCAP 19/41 (PLY DF15)) produced more than 12% β-carotene (ash-free dry weight (AFDW) basis), and red light triggered the production of 9-cis β-carotene at a 9-cis/all-trans β-carotene ratio of 1.5. Phytoene production was also evident in D. salina DF15 under all conditions, particularly under blue light. However, the profile of essential amino acids (EAAs) and calculation of the essential amino acid index (EAAI) was less than ideal in terms of protein quality, for both strains. Umami compounds, quantified as monosodium glutamate (MSG) equivalents, indicated a higher equivalent umami concentration (EUC) in D. salina DF15 under red light (3.2 g MSG/100 g AFDW) than in D. salina CCAP19/30. In order to solve the problem of vigorous vibration of agricultural machinery frames, taking a vegetable precision seeder as an example, the concept of vibration reduction was proposed. The modal analysis of the frame was carried out, and the accuracy of the finite element model was verified by comparing the modal test of multipoint input and multipoint output (MIMO) and simulation results. Additionally, the main frequency of engine vibration was the main excitation source of frame resonance. According to the modal shapes, it was proposed to increase the fixed beam structure and to carry out simulation tests. The time-domain signal of the maximum deformation position in the first-order vibration mode was measured, and the vibration spectrum analysis maps before and after optimization were obtained by Fourier transform. A field experiment showed that the seeding quality of the whole machine was significantly improved after optimization. Phytoene is a colourless natural carotenoid that absorbs UV light and provides antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities as well as protection against photodamage. It is therefore valued for its skin health and aesthetic benefits by the cosmetic industry, as well as by the health food sector. The halotolerant green microalga Dunaliella salina is one of the richest sources of natural carotenoids. We have previously investigated the over-production of phytoene in D. salina after cultivation with the well-characterised mitosis inhibitor, chlorpropham. In this study, 15 herbicides with different modes of action were tested for their potential to promote phytoene accumulation. All herbicides showed different levels of capabilities to support phytoene over-production in D. salina. Most significantly, the two mitosis inhibitors tested in this study, propyzamide and chlorpropham, showed similar capacities to support the over-production of phytoene by D. salina cultures as phytoene desaturase inhibitors. The cellular content of phytoene increased by over 10-fold within 48 h of treatment with the mitosis inhibitors compared to untreated cultures. Results indicate a general effect of mitosis inhibitors on phytoene accumulation in D. salina. Furthermore, red light was found to significantly enhance the phytoene yield when used in combination with effective inhibitor treatments. We designed and realized highly fluorescent nanostructures composed of Eu3+ complexes under a protein coating. The nanostructured material, confirmed by photo-induced force microscopy (PiFM), includes a bottom fluorescent layer and an upper protein layer. The bottom fluorescent layer includes Eu3+ that is coordinated by 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen) and oleic acid (O). The complete complexes (OEu3+Phen) formed higher-order structures with diameter 40–150 nm. Distinctive nanoscale striations reminiscent of fingerprints were observed with a high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM). Stable fluorescence was increased by the addition of Eu3+ coordinated by Phen and 2-thenoyltrifluoroacetone (TTA), and confirmed by fluorescence spectroscopy. A satisfactory result was the observation of red Eu3+ complex emission through a protein coating layer with a fluorescence microscope. Lanthanide nanostructures of these types might ultimately prove useful for biometric applications in the context of human and non-human tissues. This article assembles a distributed feedback (DFB) cavity on the sidewalls of the optical fiber by using very simple fabrication techniques including two-beam interference lithography and dip-coating. The DFB laser structure comprises graduated gratings on the optical fiber sidewalls which are covered with a layer of colloidal quantum dots. Directional DFB lasing is observed from the fiber facet due to the coupling effect between the grating and the optical fiber. The directional lasing from the optical fiber facet exhibits a small solid divergence angle as compared to the conventional laser. It can be attributed to the two-dimensional light confinement in the fiber waveguide. An analytical approach based on the Bragg condition and the coupled-wave theory was developed to explain the characteristics of the laser device. The intensity of the output coupled laser is tuned by the coupling coefficient, which is determined by the angle between the grating vector and the fiber axis. These results afford opportunities to integrate different DFB lasers on the same optical fiber sidewall, achieving multi-wavelength self-aligned DFB lasers for a directional emission. The impact of global climate change on the temporal and spatial variations of precipitation is significant. In this study, daily temperature and precipitation data from 258 meteorological stations in the Haihe River Basin, for the period 1960–2020, were used to determine the trend and significance of temperature and precipitation changes at interannual and interseasonal scales. The Mann–Kendall test and Spearman's correlation analysis were employed, and significant change trends and correlations were determined. At more than 90% of the selected stations, the results showed a significant increase in temperature, at both interannual and interseasonal scales, and the increasing trend was more significant in spring than in other seasons. Precipitation predominantly showed a decreasing trend at an interannual scale; however, the change trend was not significant. In terms of the interseasonal scale, the precipitation changes in spring and autumn showed an overall increasing trend, those in summer showed a 1:1 distribution ratio of increasing and decreasing trends, and those in winter showed an overall decreasing trend. Furthermore, the Spearman's correlation analysis showed a negative correlation between temperature and precipitation in the entire Haihe River Basin, at both interannual and interseasonal scales; however, most of the correlations were weak. The yield loss during the process of harvesting is a great challenge in rice production. A suitable harvesting time and harvesting method can help to reduce the yield losses of rice, and decisions about the harvest date have important implications for labor management as well as for agricultural machinery scheduling. Nonetheless, the comprehensive composition of timeliness harvesting loss (THL) and its changing rules for different harvesting methods remain poorly understood. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of harvest date and mechanical harvesting methods on grain dry matter timeliness loss (GDMTL) and mechanical timeliness losses (MTL) of rice in the cold region. To this end, the field experiment was conducted from 45 days after heading (45 DAH) to 59 days after heading (59 DAH), adopting a full-feeding and semi-feeding combine harvester (FCH and SCH) from 2019 to 2020. The results showed that harvest date had a significant effect on GDMTL and four kinds of MTL including header timeliness loss (HTL), cleaning timeliness loss (CTL), un-threshed timeliness loss (UTTL), and entrainment timeliness loss (ETL, only under FCH). With the prolonged harvest date, the HTL and CTL increased and the UTTL and ETL decreased, which ranged from 0.15–0.31%, 0.36–0.67%, 0.72–0.18%, and 0.69–0.31%, respectively for FCH. For SCH, the variation range of HTL, CTL, and UTTL was 0.41–0.59%, 0.66–0.98%, and 0.64–0.21%, respectively. The GDMTL increased first and then decreased, ranging from 2.84–0.87%. The mechanical harvesting methods had no significant effect on the GDMTL of rice, but the MTL could be large between FCH and SCH. In general, optimal harvest period was 52 DAH~53 DAH for both harvesting methods, which exhibited the highest yield and the lowest loss, i.e., 9269.3 kg/hm2 and 1.70%, respectively, and the mechanical operating mode on different harvest dates was recommended to minimize the mechanical loss. The optimal harvest date for rice in a cold region ensured both quality and quantity for mechanized harvesting, and provided a reference for the reasonable allocation of operating harvesters in the harvesting season. The longitudinal axial flow threshing cylinder of the full feeding rice combine harvester is widely used in China and works with violent vibration. To explore the source of the excitation affecting the vibration and to reduce the vibration, a finite element modal analysis and multipoint input and multipoint output (MIMO) modal test were performed to solve the natural vibration characteristics. By analyzing the excitation frequency, we concluded that the main reason for the resonance was the coupling between the rotation frequency of the threshing cylinder and the first natural frequency. To avoid the influence of resonance and realize a lightweight design, we proposed a combination of size optimization and topology optimization. The second rotation orthogonal combination test was designed to analyze the first natural frequency, maximum stress, and maximum deformation of the threshing cylinder, and the threshing cylinder was reconstructed as a central symmetrical structure to balance the rotational inertia force. The field experiment results showed that the amplitudes of the optimized threshing cylinder were significantly lower than those of the original threshing cylinder. This study provides ideas for solving the vibration characteristics of rotating parts and provides an important reference for the design of vibration reduction and weight reduction of key parts in the field of agricultural machinery. This study addressed the topology optimization of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) laminated battery-hanging structure of an electric vehicle. To accommodate parameterization for thickness and orientation of CFRP materials, the discrete material and thickness optimization (DMTO) technique was adopted. To include metal material as a reinforcement structure into the optimization simultaneously, the DMTO technique was extended here to achieve concurrent optimization of CFRP thickness topology, CFRP orientation selection and the topology of the metal reinforcement plate. Manufacturing constraints were applied, including suppressing intermediate void across the thickness direction of the laminate, contiguity constraint and the symmetrical layers. Sensitivities of the objective function were derived with respect to design variables. To calculate analytical sensitivities, finite element analysis was conducted and strain vectors were exported from a commercial software (ABAQUS) into a mathematical analysis tool (MATLAB). The design objective was to minimize the local displacement subject to the constraints of manufacturing and mass fraction. The mechanical performance of the optimized CFRP structure was compared with the original steel structure. To validate the optimization results, a prototype of the CFRP battery-hanging structure was fabricated and experimental testing was conducted. The results show that the total mass of the CFRP battery-hanging structure was reduced by 34.3% when compared with the steel one, while the mechanical property was improved by 25.3%. Small-molecule crosslinkers could diffuse into and stabilize protein hydrogels without damaging their appearance, but they are absent from the food industry due to the high safety and efficacy requirements for foods. Oxidized oligosaccharides are non-toxic small polyaldehydes previously found capable of crosslinking proteins by premixing. In this study, we managed to diffuse various oxidized oligosaccharides into the protein wall of rehydrated sea cucumbers, and the texture profile analysis, total soluble material assay and SEM (scanning electron microscope) images all suggested the treated sea cucumbers acquired significantly enhanced stability against high-temperature-promoted deterioration. The stabilization was positively correlated with the aldehyde content of oxidized oligosaccharides but negatively correlated with molecular size. The mechanism of stabilization was found to include both covalent and hydrogen bond crosslinking. These results have demonstrated that oxidized oligosaccharides could enter food protein hydrogel by free diffusion and stabilize the 3D network effectively and thereby has great potential in food-related industry. Carotenoids comprise a diverse range of naturally occurring stereoisomers, which differ in their physico-chemical properties. Their biosynthesis begins with phytoene, which is a rarity among carotenoids because it is colourless. Phytoene is sought after as a skin protectant against harmful UV range B (290–320 nm) and C (100–290 nm) light, and as a natural skin-whitening agent and is synthesized from geranylgeranyl diphosphate. Geranylgeranyl diphosphate is catalysed by phytoene synthase and phytoene desaturase to phytoene and phytofluene, respectively. The subsequent steps involve desaturation, isomerisation and cyclisation reactions to form α- and β-carotene stereoisomers, via all-trans lycopene. The marine microalga Dunaliella salina is the richest source of β-carotene, but it can accumulate phytoene and phytofluene as well. In the present study, different analytical tools including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Ultra-Performance Convergence Chromatography (UPC2-MS) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) were used to characterize and quantify the phytoene isomeric configurations in D. salina in order to explore both the feasibility of D. salina as a cell factory for phytoene production and to gain new insight into the carotenoid synthesis pathway in D. salina. D. salina, similar to tomato, produced predominantly 15-cis phytoene isomer (>98%) and a trace amount of all-trans phytoene (<2%). High light stress, red light stress, or use of a phytoene desaturase inhibitor or a mitotic disrupter herbicide led to the accumulation of 15-cis phytoene but not all-trans phytoene. 9-cis phytoene was not detected in any of the extracts of D. salina biomass. Our main findings suggest that 15-cis phytoene is the most abundant isomer in D. salina and that it is subject to a series of isomerisation and desaturation reactions to form all-trans and 9-cis β-carotene. Carotenoids are implicated in alleviating ageing and age-related diseases in humans. While data from different carotenoids are mixed in their outcomes, those for 9-cis-β-carotene indicate general positive effects, although basic data on its biological impact are limited. Here, we show that supplementation with 9-cis-β-carotene in ageing Drosophila melanogaster improved mitochondrial function in terms of ATP production and whole-body respiration and extended mean lifespan. It also resulted in improved mobility. These data provide a potential biological rational for the beneficial effects of dietary supplementation with 9-cis-β-carotene. Dunaliella salina is a rich source of 9-cis β-carotene, which has been identified as an important biomolecule in the treatment of retinal dystrophies and other diseases. We previously showed that chlorophyll absorption of red light photons in D. salina is coupled with oxygen reduction and phytoene desaturation, and that it increases the pool size of β-carotene. Here, we show for the first time that growth under red light also controls the conversion of extant all-trans β-carotene to 9-cis β-carotene by β-carotene isomerases. Cells illuminated with red light from a light emitting diode (LED) during cultivation contained a higher 9-cis β-carotene content compared to cells illuminated with white or blue LED light. The 9-cis/all-trans β-carotene ratio in red light treated cultures reached >2.5 within 48 h, and was independent of light intensity. Illumination using red light filters that eliminated blue wavelength light also increased the 9-cis/all-trans β-carotene ratio. With norflurazon, a phytoene desaturase inhibitor which blocked downstream biosynthesis of β-carotene, extant all-trans β-carotene was converted to 9-cis β-carotene during growth with red light and the 9-cis/all-trans β-carotene ratio was ~2. With blue light under the same conditions, 9-cis β-carotene was likely destroyed at a greater rate than all-trans β-carotene (9-cis/all-trans ratio 0.5). Red light perception by the red light photoreceptor, phytochrome, may increase the pool size of anti-oxidant, specifically 9-cis β-carotene, both by upregulating phytoene synthase to increase the rate of biosynthesis of β-carotene and to reduce the rate of formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), and by upregulating β-carotene isomerases to convert extant all-trans β-carotene to 9-cis β-carotene. The halotolerant photoautotrophic marine microalga Dunaliella salina is one of the richest sources of natural carotenoids. Here we investigated the effects of high intensity blue, red and white light from light emitting diodes (LED) on the production of carotenoids by strains of D. salina under nutrient sufficiency and strict temperature control favouring growth. Growth in high intensity red light was associated with carotenoid accumulation and a high rate of oxygen uptake. On transfer to blue light, a massive drop in carotenoid content was recorded along with very high rates of photo-oxidation. In high intensity blue light, growth was maintained at the same rate as in red or white light, but without carotenoid accumulation; transfer to red light stimulated a small increase in carotenoid content. The data support chlorophyll absorption of red light photons to reduce plastoquinone in photosystem II, coupled to phytoene desaturation by plastoquinol:oxygen oxidoreductase, with oxygen as electron acceptor. Partitioning of electrons between photosynthesis and carotenoid biosynthesis would depend on both red photon flux intensity and phytoene synthase upregulation by the red light photoreceptor, phytochrome. Red light control of carotenoid biosynthesis and accumulation reduces the rate of formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) as well as increases the pool size of anti-oxidant. Pyroelectric materials, are those materials with the property that in the absence of any externally applied electric field, develop a built-in spontaneous polarization in their unit cell structure. They are regarded as ideal detector elements for infrared applications because they can provide fast response time and uniform sensitivity at room temperature over all wavelengths. Crystals of the perovskite Lead Titanate (PbTiO3) family show pyroelectric characteristics and undergo structural phase transitions. They have a high Curie temperature (the temperature at which the material changes from the ferroelectric (polar) to the paraelectric (nonpolar) phase), high pyroelectric coefficient, high spontaneous polarization, low dielectric constant, and constitute important component materials not only useful for infrared detection, but also with vast applications in electronic, optic, and Micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) devices. However, the preparation of large perfect, and pure single crystals of PbTiO3 is challenging. Additionally, difficulties arise in the application of such bulk crystals in terms of connection to processing circuits, large size, and high voltages required for their operation. A number of thin film fabrication techniques have been proposed to overcome these inadequacies, among which, magnetron sputtering has demonstrated many potentials. By addressing these aspects, the review article aims to contribute to the understanding of the challenges in the field of pyroelectric materials, highlight potential solutions, and showcase the advancements and potentials of pyroelectric perovskite series including PbZrTiO 3 (PZT), PbxCa1-x (PZN-PT), etc. for which PbTiO3 is the end member. The review is presented in two parts. Part 1 focuses on material aspects, including preparation methods using magnetron sputtering and material characterization. We take a tutorial approach to discuss the progress made in epitaxial growth of lead titanate-based ceramics prepared by magnetron sputtering and examine how processing conditions may affect the crystalline quality of the growing film by linking to the properties of the substrate/buffer layer, growth substrate temperature, and the oxygen partial pressure in the gas mixture. Careful control and optimization of these parameters are crucial for achieving high-quality thin films with desired structural and morphological characteristics.
