In order to study the mechanical properties of ultra-high performance engineered cementitious composites (UHP-ECC) used for cable channel repair, orthogonal tests were carried out with four influencing factors, water binder ratio, silica fume, fly ash and mortar ratio, to obtain the optimum mix ratio of the cement paste. On this basis, the effects of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) polymer and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber on the fluidity, flexural strength and compressive strength of UHP-ECC were studied, and the micromechanism was analyzed with SEM. The results show that the fluidity of UHP-ECC material prepared was 170–200 mm, which meets the requirements of working performance. The average compressive strength at 28 days reached 85.3 MPa, and the average flexural strength at 28 days reached 22.3 MPa. EVA polymer has a fast film forming rate in an alkaline environment. The formed polymer film wraps the fiber, enhances the bridging role between the fiber and the matrix and increases the viscosity of the material. Therefore, the early flexural strength is significantly improved. The 1-d flexural strength of UHP-ECC material mixed with 9-mm fiber is increased by 18%, and the 1-d flexural strength of 3-mm fiber is increased by 15%. Due to PVA fiber's high elastic modulus and tensile strength, it improved the flexural and tensile properties of the material after incorporation, especially in the later stages; the 28-d flexural strength of UHP-ECC material mixed with 9-mm fiber increased by 12%, and the 28-d flexural strength of 3-mm fiber increased by 7%. Background: The dietary inflammatory index (DII) is thought to be related to many healthy events. However, the association between the DII and sarcopenia remains unclear. Methods: The meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the effects of the DII on the risk of sarcopenia utilizing available studies. Up to September 2022, Cochrane, PubMed, Web of Science, Medline, and EMBASE databases were searched to evaluate the relationships between the DII and sarcopenia. A random‒effects model was used to calculate the effect size and 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Result: Eleven studies with 19,954 participants were included in our meta-analysis. The results indicated that a high DII increased the risk of sarcopenia (OR = 1.16, 95%CI [1.06, 1.27], p < 0.05). The result of the dose–response analysis showed that the risk of sarcopenia increased by 1.22 times for each 1-point increase in the DII score (OR = 1.22, 95%CI [1.12, 1.33], p < 0.05). Conclusion: The meta-analysis demonstrated that the DII is associated with sarcopenia. Considering some limitations in this study, more studies are needed to verify this relationship. Urban ground collapse is a common geological disaster characterized by its invisible nature, particularly in China, and results in significant socioeconomic losses and even loss of life. Underground pipeline breakage is the most common factor leading to urban ground collapses. Hence, it is essential to study how different types of pipeline breakages initiate the collapse mechanism. In this study, an indoor model test was conducted to directly observe the process of collapse due to broken pipe leakage. A broken pipe was put into a model box and tested by an experimental device. The results showed that among the different pipeline breakage types, vertical damage had the greatest influence on the degree of cavity development and ground collapse. Similarities were observed in the patterns of cavity evolution development and the extent of ground collapse as well, further revealing the significance of the cavity evolution process in predicting ground collapses. Simple Summary: Porcine parvovirus disease is an animal disease with a high infection rate that is wide spread in the world. Its spread and variants have a very serious impact on large-scale livestock economy. So far, there have been no reports on the infection and genetics of pig parvovirus in Tibetan pigs. This study was conducted to investigate and analyze the seroprevalence, regional distribution and risk factors responsible for porcine parvovirus in Tibetan pigs in Tibet. This study also contains an effective response and analysis of strategies made in the areas under investigation through the epidemic, distribution and risk factors inquiry of the virus. A total of 356 serum samples were collected from four counties in Tibet, and the anti-porcine parvovirus antibodies were detected by using the competitive ELISA kit. In this investigation, 324 (91.01%) of 356 serum samples were found to be positive for porcine parvovirus. Porcine parvovirus is also extremely widespread in Tibet, reaching a worrying seroprevalence that requires greater awareness of this disease by the operators in the swine sector. Possible measures to improve surveillance and monitoring of the disease should be considered. Porcine parvovirus (PPV) disease is a worldwide spread animal disease with high infection rate and serious impact on meat economy causing significant losses in livestock production. The purpose of this paper is to investigate and analyze the regional seroprevalence of PPV in Tibetan pigs in Tibet and evaluate risk factors related to the disease. A total of 356 serum samples of Tibetan pigs were collected from four counties and districts in Tibet, and anti-PPV antibodies were detected by using a commercial competitive ELISA. Our results show a seroprevalence of 91.01% (324 serum samples were found to be positive for anti-PPV antibodies). The positive rate among different district was 100%, 96.55%, 93.68% and 72.83%, respectively in the Mainling County, in Bayi district, Nang County and Bomê County. We found significant differences between different age and gender groups; particularly female animals show a seroprevalence of 96.03% while the males only 83.46%. From the perspective of the growth stage, our results indicate that subadults show a seroprevalence significative higher than other age groups (100%). This study describes for the first time the PPV seroprevalence among Tibetan pigs characterizing risk factors involved in its transmission and providing information to be taken into account for eventual surveillance or eradication plans. Cancer has become a major challenge in the global disease burden. Artificial sweeteners are a class of chemical compounds that are used as food and beverage addition agent to replace sugar. However, the health effects of consuming artificial sweeteners are still unclear. This meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the role of artificial sweeteners on cancer. The databases PubMed, Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, Web of Science and EMBASE were searched up until July 2022. A Newcastle–Ottawa scale (NOS) was used to estimate the study quality. A total of 25 observational studies were included with a total of 3,739,775 subjects. The intake of artificial sweeteners had no apparent association with overall cancer incidence and mortality. However, in Europe, artificial sweeteners' intake could increase the risk of cancer incidence (HR/RR = 1.07, 95% CI = [1.02, 1.12], I2 = 25.8%, P = 0.223), which appears to be related to a shift in nutritional behaviors in the countries. Significant results were also observed in subgroups with aspartame and a mixed intake of artificial sweeteners. Moreover, higher risk was observed for artificial sweeteners intake in all-cause mortality (HR/RR =1.13, 95% CI = [1.03, 1.25], I2 = 79.7%, p < 0.001) and a J-shaped association between them was found. Simple Summary: Recently, it was found that miR-22 might be involved in the regulation of muscle tenderness and was an important miRNA that affects meat quality. In the present study, we demonstrated that miR-22 regulates the fatty acid composition and mitochondrial morphology of skeletal muscle cells by inhibiting ELOVL6 expression. This study presented the first systematical investigation on the miR-22 correlation with fatty acid composition and mitochondrial function in muscle cells. Our finding is important to help us to understand the function of miR-22 in skeletal muscle cells and the complicacy of muscle metabolism regulation. Recently, miR-22 has been suggested to be an important microRNA (miRNA) affecting meat quality. Studies have shown that muscle fatty acid composition and mitochondrial function are closely related to meat quality. The regulatory mechanism of miR-22 on skeletal muscle fatty acid composition and mitochondrial function is not well characterized. Therefore, we aimed to explore the effects of miR-22 on fatty acid composition and mitochondrial function in C2C12 cells. Here, it demonstrate that elevated expression of miR-22 significantly repressed fatty acid elongation and mitochondrial morphology in C2C12 myoblasts, while the knockdown of miR-22 showed opposite results. Furthermore, miR-22 targets the elongase of very long chain fatty acids 6 (ELOVL6) and represses its expression in muscle cells. Knockdown of ELOVL6 mimicked the effect of miR-22 on fatty acid composition and mitochondrial function, while overexpression of ELOVL6 restored the effects of miR-22. These findings indicate that miR-22 downregulates the elongation of fatty acids and mitochondrial morphology by inhibiting ELOVL6 expression in muscle cells, which may provide some useful information for controlling muscle lipid accumulation and mitochondrial function in livestock in the future.
