Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are novel solvents with physicochemical properties similar to those of ionic liquids, and they have attracted extensive attention for the extraction of bioactive compounds from different plant materials in the context of green chemistry and sustainable development. In this study, seven DESs with different polarities were explored as green extraction solvents for cembratrien-diols (CBT-diols) from waste tobacco flowers. The best solvent, DES-3 (choline chloride: lactic acid (1:3)), which outperformed conventional solvents (methanol, ethanol, and ethyl acetate), was selected and further optimized for microwave-assisted DES extraction using the response surface methodology. The maximum yield of CBT-diols (6.23 ± 0.15 mg/g) was achieved using a microwave power of 425 W, microwave time of 32 min, solid/liquid ratio of 20 mg/mL, and microwave temperature of 40 °C. Additionally, the isolated CBT-diols exhibited strong antimicrobial activity against Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and antitumor activity in the human liver cancer HepG2 and SMMC-7721 cell lines. This study highlights the feasibility of recovering CBT-diols from tobacco flower waste using DESs and provides opportunities for potential waste management using green technologies. Density functional theory (DFT) characterizations were employed to resolve the structural and energetic aspects and product selectivities along the mechanistic reaction paths of the nickel-catalyzed three-component unsymmetrical bis-allylation of alkynes with alkenes. Our putative mechanism initiated with the in situ generation of the active catalytic species [Ni(0)L2] (L = NHC) from its precursors [Ni(COD)2, NHC·HCl] to activate the alkyne and alkene substrates to form the final skipped trienes. This proceeds via the following five sequential steps: oxidative addition (OA), β-F elimination, ring-opening complexation, C-B cleavage and reductive elimination (RE). Both the OA and RE steps (with respective free energy barriers of 24.2 and 24.8 kcal·mol−1) contribute to the observed reaction rates, with the former being the selectivity-controlling step of the entire chemical transformation. Electrophilic/nucleophilic properties of selected substrates were accurately predicted through dual descriptors (based on Hirshfeld charges), with the chemo- and regio-selectivities being reasonably predicted and explained. Further distortion/interaction and interaction region indicator (IRI) analyses for key stationary points along reaction profiles indicate that the participation of the third component olefin (allylboronate) and tBuOK additive played a crucial role in facilitating the reaction and regenerating the active catalyst, ensuring smooth formation of the skipped triene product under a favorably low dosage of the Ni(COD)2 catalyst (5 mol%). Wind shear has important implications for Kelvin–Helmholtz instability (KHI) and gravity waves (GWs) in the mesosphere–lower thermosphere (MLT) region where its momentum transport process is dominated by short-period (<1 h) GWs. However, the sub-hourly variation in wind shear is still not well quantified. This study aims to improve current understanding of vertical wind shear by analyzing multi-year meteor radar measurements at the Mohe (MH, 53.5°N, 122.3°E), Beijing (BJ, 40.3 ° N , 116.2 ° E ), Wuhan (WH, 30.5 ° N , 114.6 ° E ), and Fuke (FK, 19.5°N, 109.1°E) stations in China. The wind field is estimated by a new algorithm, e.g., the damped least squares fitting. Taking the wind shear estimated by normal products as a criterion, the shear produced by the new algorithm has more statistical convergence as compared to the traditional algorithm, e.g., the least squares fitting. Therefore, we argue that the 10 min DLSA wind probably produces a more reasonable vertical shear. Both intensive wind shears and GW kinetic energy can be simultaneously captured during the 0600–1600 UTs of May at MH and during the 1300–2400 UTs of March at FK, possibly implying that the up-propagation of GWs could contribute to the production of large wind shears. The utilization of remote sensing soil moisture products in agricultural and hydrological studies is on the rise. Conducting a regional applicability analysis of these soil moisture products is essential as a preliminary step for their effective utilization. The triple collocation (TC) method enables the estimation of the standard deviation of errors in products when true soil moisture values are unavailable. It assesses data uncertainty and mitigates the influence of product errors on fusion, thereby enhancing product accuracy significantly. In this study, the TC uncertainty error analysis was employed to integrate Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP), the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR-2), and the European Space Agency Climate Change Initiative (ESA CCI) active (ESA CCI A) and passive (ESA CCI P) products, with ground-based measurements serving as a reference. Traditional evaluation metrics, such as the correlation coefficient (R), bias, root mean square error (RMSE), and unin situed root mean square error (ubRMSE), were employed to evaluate the accuracy of the product. The findings indicate that SMAP and ESA CCI P products demonstrate strong spatiotemporal continuity within the research area and exhibit low uncertainty across various land types. The products derived from the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR-2) exhibit a high level of temporal and spatial continuity; however, there is a requirement for enhancing their accuracy. The products of ESA CCI A exhibit notable spatiotemporal disjunction, contributing significantly to their elevated level of uncertainty. After fusion with TC analysis, the correlation coefficient (R = 0.7) of the TC-2 product derived from the fusion of SMAP, AMSR-2, and ESA CCI P products is significantly higher than the correlation coefficient of the TC-1 product (R = 0.65) obtained from the fusion of SMAP, AMSR-2, and ESA CCI A products at a 95% confidence level. The integration of data can efficiently mitigate the challenges associated with spatiotemporal gaps and inaccuracies in products, offering a dependable foundation for the subsequent utilization of remote sensing products. Clouds and cloud shadow cover cause missing data in some images captured by the Gaofen-1 Wide Field of View (GF-1 WFV) cameras, limiting the extraction and analysis of the image information and further applications. Therefore, this study proposes a methodology to fill GF-1 WFV images using the spatial autocorrelation and improved weighting (SAIW) method. Specifically, the search window size is adaptively determined using Getis-Ord Gi* as a metric. The spatial and spectral weights of the pixels are computed using the Chebyshev distance and spectral angle mapper to better filter the suitable similar pixels. Each missing pixel is predicted using linear regression with similar pixels on the reference image and the corresponding similar pixel located in the non-missing region of the cloudy image. Simulation experiments showed that the average correlation coefficient of the proposed method in this study is 0.966 in heterogeneous areas, 0.983 in homogeneous farmland, and 0.948 in complex urban areas. It suggests that SAIW can reduce the spread of errors in the gap-filling process to significantly improve the accuracy of the filling results and can produce satisfactory qualitative and quantitative fill results in a wide range of typical land cover types and has extensive application potential. Inertial sensors are the key payloads in space gravitational wave detection missions, and they need to ensure that the test mass (TM), which serves as the inertial reference, freely floats in the spacecraft without contact, so that the TM is not disturbed by the satellite platform and the cosmic environment. Space gravitational wave detection missions require that the residual acceleration of the TM should be less than 3 × 10 − 15 ms − 2 Hz − 1 / 2 . However, the TM with charges will interact with surrounding conductors and magnetic fields, introducing acceleration noise such as electrostatic force and Lorentz force. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out charge management on the TM, in which the high-precision measurement of charge is crucial. Space gravitational wave detection missions require a residual charge measurement accuracy of 3 × 10 − 13 C for the TM. In this paper, we design a high-precision inertial sensor charge measurement method based on phase-sensitive demodulation (PSD). By establishing a torsion pendulum rotation model based on the force modulation method, the characteristics of the TM torsion angle signal are analyzed. The PSD is used to extract the amplitude of the specific frequency signal component containing the charge information, and then to calculate the value of the accumulated charges. The method is compared with the Butterworth band-pass filtering method, and the simulation results show that the method has a higher measurement accuracy, shorter settling time, and stronger anti-interference ability, meeting the TM residual charge measurement accuracy index requirement. Coal gangue (CG) and coal gasification coarse slag (CGCS) possess both hazardous and resourceful attributes. The present study employed co-roasting followed by H2SO4 leaching to extract Al and Fe from CG and CGCS. The activation behavior and phase transformation mechanism during the co-roasting process were investigated through TG, XRD, FTIR, and XPS characterization analysis as well as Gibbs free energy calculation. The results demonstrate that the leaching rate of total iron (TFe) reached 79.93%, and Al3+ achieved 43.78% under the optimized experimental conditions (co-roasting process: CG/CGCS mass ratio of 8/2, 600 °C, 1 h; H2SO4 leaching process: 30 wt% H2SO4, 90 °C, 5 h, liquid to solid ratio of 5:1 mL/g). Co-roasting induced the conversion of inert kaolinite to active metakaolinite, subsequently leading to the formation of sillimanite (Al2SiO5) and hercynite (FeAl2O4). The iron phases underwent a selective transformation in the following sequence: hematite (Fe2O3) → magnetite (Fe3O4) → wustite (FeO) → ferrosilite (FeSiO3), hercynite (FeAl2O4), and fayalite (Fe2SiO4). Furthermore, we found that acid solution and leached residue both have broad application prospects. Sporadic E (Es) layers are thin layers of enhanced electron density that commonly appear at altitudes of 90–130 km, often impacting radio communications and navigation systems. The wind shear theory posits that the vertical ion drift, influenced by atmospheric neutral winds and the magnetic field, serves as a significant dynamic driver for the formation and movement of Es layers. In current studies, both the heights of ion vertical velocity null (IVN) and the maximum vertical ion convergence (VICmax) have been proposed as the potential height of Es layer occurrence. In this study, utilizing the neutral atmospheric wind data derived from the WACCM-X (The Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model with thermosphere and ionosphere extension), we computed and compared these two parameters with the observed Es layer heights recorded by the FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC (FORMOsa SATellite-3/Constellation Observing System for Meteorology, Ionosphere, and Climate) radio occultation (RO) observations. The comparative analysis suggests that IVN is a more likely node for Es layer occurrence than VICmax. Subsequently, we examined the height–time distributions of IVN and Es layers, as well as their respective descent rates at different latitudes. These results demonstrated a notable agreement in height variations between IVN and Es layers. Unsupervised classification is used in credit risk assessment to reduce human resource costs and make informed decisions in the shortest possible time. Although several studies show that support vector machine-based methods have better performance in unlabeled datasets, several factors still negatively affect these models, such as unstable results due to random initialization, reduced effectiveness due to kernel dependencies, and noise points and outliers. This paper introduces an unsupervised classification method based on a fuzzy unsupervised quadratic surface support vector machine without a kernel to avoid selecting related kernel parameters for credit risk assessment. In addition, we propose an innovative fuzzy membership function for reducing noise points and outliers in line with the direction of sample density variation. Fuzzy Unsupervised QSSVM (FUS-QSSVM) outperforms well-known SVM-based methods based on numerical tests on public benchmark credit data. In some real-world applications, the proposed method has significant potential as well as being effective, efficient, and robust. In the space gravitational wave detection mission, inertial sensors play the role of providing an inertial reference for the laser interferometric measurement system. Among them, the capacitance sensor serves as the core key technology of the inertial sensor, used to measure the relative position of the test mass (TM) in the electrode cage. The capacitance sensor utilizes synchronous demodulation technology to extract signals from the AC induction signal. When the phase of the demodulation switch signal is aligned, the synchronous demodulator can most effectively filter out noise, thus directly influencing the performance of the capacitance sensor. However, since the TM is in a suspended state, the information read by the capacitance sensor is dynamic, which increases the difficulty of demodulation phase alignment. In light of this, a method is proposed for achieving the phase alignment of the demodulation switch signal in a dynamic environment. This is accomplished by adjusting the phase of the demodulation switch signal, and subsequently computing the phase difference between the AC induction signal and the demodulation switch signal. At the same time, a measurement and evaluation method for phase deviation is also proposed. Ultimately, an automatic phase alignment system for the demodulation switch signal in dynamic environments is successfully implemented on an FPGA platform, and tests are conducted on a hexapod PI console platform to simulate dynamic environments. The experimental results demonstrate that the system accurately achieves phase alignment in the static environment, with a phase deviation of 0.1394 rad. The charge accumulation caused by cosmic rays and solar energetic particles poses a significant challenge as a source of noise for inertial sensors used in space gravitational wave detection. To address this issue, the implementation of charge management systems based on ultraviolet discharge becomes crucial. This paper focuses on elucidating the principles and methods of using ultraviolet discharge for charge management in high-precision inertial sensors. Furthermore, it presents the design and implementation of relevant payloads. Through an analysis of the charge accumulation effect and its impact on noise, key considerations regarding coatings, light sources, and optical paths are explored, and some current and valuable insights into the future development of charge management systems are also summarized. The conclusions drawn from this research also provide guidance for the advancement of higher precision ultraviolet discharge technology and the design of charge management systems. It is of great significance to understand the particle distribution characteristics at different heights to effectively control particle pollution. Based on fractal theory, the fractal dimension of outdoor particles in a high-rise building in Xi'an and its relationship with the concentration of particles with different particle sizes are discussed and analyzed in this paper. The results indicate that the atmosphere in Xi'an is mainly composed of fine particles and that the average proportion of particles ranging from 0 to 1.0 µm is approximately 99.885% of the total particulates. The fractal dimension of particles in the atmosphere at different heights ranges from 5.014 to 5.764, with an average fractal dimension of 5.456. In summer, the fractal dimension of the outdoor particles on the 17th floor was the largest, at 5.764. The fractal dimension in summer is relatively high, being 0.158 higher than that in winter on average. The larger the fractal dimension, the higher the proportion of fine particles. In addition, the fractal dimension can characterize the adsorption of toxic and harmful gases by particles well. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) is a research method in systematic biology. It is widely used to identify gene modules related to target traits in multi-sample transcriptome data. In order to further explore the molecular mechanism of maize response to low-temperature stress at the seedling stage, B144 (cold stress tolerant) and Q319 (cold stress sensitive) provided by the Maize Research Institute of Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences were used as experimental materials, and both inbred lines were treated with 5 °C for 0 h, 12 h, and 24 h, with the untreated material as a control. Eighteen leaf samples were used for transcriptome sequencing, with three biological replicates. Based on the above transcriptome data, co-expression networks of weighted genes associated with low-temperature-tolerance traits were constructed by WGCNA. Twelve gene modules significantly related to low-temperature tolerance at the seedling stage were obtained, and a number of hub genes involved in low-temperature stress regulation pathways were discovered from the four modules with the highest correlation with target traits. We characterize some necessary and sufficient conditions of invertible Toeplitz operators acting on the Fock space. In particular, we study the Fredholm properties of Toeplitz operators with B M O 1 symbols, where their Berezin transforms are bounded functions of vanishing oscillation. We show the Fredholm index of the Toeplitz operator via the winding of its Berezin transform along a sufficiently large circle and provide a characterization of invertible Toeplitz operators with non-negative symbols, possibly unbounded, such that the Berezin transforms of the symbols are bounded and of vanishing oscillation. Inertial sensors can serve as inertial references for space missions and require charge management systems to maintain their on-orbit performance. To achieve non-contact charge management through UV discharge, effective control strategies are necessary to improve the optical power output performances of UV light sources while accurately modeling their operating characteristics. This paper proposes a low-power photo-electro-thermal model for widely used AlGaN-based UV LEDs, which comprehensively considers the interaction of optical, electrical, and thermal characteristics of UV LEDs during low-power operations. Based on this model, an optical power control system utilizing a fuzzy adaptive PID controller is constructed, in which a switch is introduced to coordinate the working state of the controller. Thus, the steady-state performance is effectively improved while ensuring dynamic performance. The results show that the proposed model has an average prediction error of 5.8 nW during steady-state operations, and the fuzzy adaptive PID controller with a switch can reduce the fluctuation of light output to 0.67 nW during a single discharge task, meeting the charge management requirements of high-precision inertial sensors. In space gravitational wave detection missions, the laser heterodyne interference signal (LHI signal) has a high-dynamic characteristic due to the Doppler shift. Therefore, the three beat-notes frequencies of the LHI signal are changeable and unknown. This may further lead to the unlocking of the digital phase-locked loop (DPLL). Traditionally, fast Fourier transform (FFT) has been used as a method for frequency estimation. However, the estimation accuracy cannot meet the requirement of space missions because of the limited spectrum resolution. In order to improve the multi-frequency estimation accuracy, a method based on center of gravity (COG) is proposed. The method improves the estimation accuracy by using the amplitude of the peak points and the neighboring points of the discrete spectrum. For different windows that may be used for signal sampling, a general expression for multi-frequency correction of the windowed signal is derived. Meanwhile, a method based on error integration to reduce the acquisition error is proposed, which solves the problem of acquisition accuracy degradation caused by communication codes. The experimental results show that the multi-frequency acquisition method is able to accurately acquire the three beat-notes of the LHI signal and meet the requirement of space missions. The center path of the 21 June 2020 solar eclipse, which passed through Guam (13.62°N, 144.86°E, 94.6% obscuration), United States, at the end of its journey, provides a peculiar opportunity to study the ionospheric changes as the moon shadow moves into the nightside. In this study, remote-sensing observations of the ionosphere taken from the ionosonde, and total electron content from the International GNSS Service over Guam were analyzed to examine the related ionospheric changes. Independent in situ observations of electron density (Ne), electron (Te) and ion temperatures (Ti) from DMSP-F17 at ~850 km, and Ne and Te from Swarm-B at ~540 km were also studied. With a significant enhancement of the critical frequency and downward movement of F2-layer, the ionosphere was compressed as the moon shadow swept over Guam near its sunset hours. Neutral wind observations from the Ionospheric Connection Explorer (ICON) showed the westward reversed wind occurring in the F-region near sunset. The westward wind disturbance and downward press over the Western Pacific suggest changes in the electrodynamics in the ionosphere and thermosphere near sunset at the end of the solar eclipse, which further contributes to ~85% decrease of Ne and 157% enhancement of Te at ~540 km near midnight. Atmospheric gravity waves (GWs) in the mesosphere-lower thermosphere (MLT) are crucial for the understanding of general circulation. However, their dynamical characteristics are hardly retrieved due to the difficulty in the high-resolution observation of wind. Therefore, this paper uses eight years (2013–2020) of meteor radar measurements in the MLT region at Mohe station (53.5°N, 122.3°E), China, to retrieve high-temporal-resolution mesospheric wind data and further evaluate the temporal variation of GW kinetic energy. As the detected meteor trails exceed 6, the wind velocity is recalculated using the least square algorithm method, significantly increasing the temporal resolution of wind from 1 h up to 5 min. This resolution is sufficiently high for the investigation of GW kinetic energy, which exhibits a high spatial-temporal variability. For instance, it is enhanced in the winter season during the period of 0200–1400 UT and in the spring season during the period of 0800–1300 UT. The similarity between the climatological characteristics of GWs in MLT and the seasonal variation of GW total energy in the troposphere, determined from high-resolution radiosondes near to Mohe station, suggests that the meteorology in the lower atmosphere could be an important source of GWs in the MLT region. Background: Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) is a well-known severe adverse reaction of antiresorptive, antiangiogenic or targeted therapies, and usually occurs after tooth extraction. This review is aimed at determining the efficacy of any intervention of tooth extraction to reduce the risk of MRONJ in patients taking antiresorptive drugs, and present the distribution of evidence in these clinical questions. Methods: Primary studies and reviews were searched from nine databases (Medline, EMBase, Cochrane Library, Scopus, WOSCC, Inspec, KCI-KJD, SciELO and GIM) and two registers (ICTRP and ClinicalTrials.gov) to 30 November 2022. The risk of bias was assessed with the ROBIS tool in reviews, and the RoB 2 tool and ROBINS-I tool in primary studies. Data were extracted and then a meta-analysis was undertaken between primary studies where appropriate. Results: Fifteen primary studies and five reviews were included in this evidence mapping. One review was at low risk of bias, and one randomized controlled trial was at moderate risk, while the other eighteen studies were at high, serious or critical risk. Results of syntheses: (1) there was no significant risk difference found between drug holiday and drug continuation except for a subgroup in which drug continuation was supported in the reduced incidence proportion of MRONJ for over a 3-month follow-up; (2) the efficacy of the application of autologous platelet concentrates in tooth extraction was uncertain; (3) there was no significant difference found between different surgical techniques in any subgroup analysis; and (4) the risk difference with antibacterial prophylaxis versus control was −0.57, 95% CI −0.85 to −0.29. Conclusions: There is limited evidence to demonstrate that a drug holiday is unnecessary (and may in fact be potentially harmful) in dental practice. Primary closure and antibacterial prophylaxis are recommended despite limited evidences. In space gravitational-wave-detection missions, inertial sensors are used as the core loads, and their acceleration noise needs to reach 3 × 10 − 15   ms − 2 / Hz at a frequency of 0.1   mHz , which corresponds to the capacitive sensing system; the capacitive sensing noise on the sensitive axis needs to reach 1   aF / Hz . Unlike traditional circuit noise evaluation, the noise in the mHz frequency band is dominated by the thermal noise and the 1 / f noise of the device, which is a challenging technical goal. In this paper, a low-frequency, high-precision resonant capacitor bridge method based on a planar transformer is used. Compared with the traditional winding transformer, the developed planar transformer has the advantages of low temperature drift and low 1 / f noise. For closed-loop measurements of capacitive sensing circuits and sensitive structures, the minimum capacitive resolution in the time domain is about 3   aF , which is far lower than the scientific measurement resolution requirement of 5.8   fF for gravitational wave detection. The capacitive sensing noise is converted to 1.095   aF / Hz in the frequency band of 10   mHz – 1   Hz . Although there is a gap between the closed-loop measurement results and the final index, the measurement environment is an experimental condition without temperature control on the ground; additionally, in China, the measurement integrity and actual measurement results of the capacitive sensing function have reached a domestic leading level. In this study, we employ three types of satellite data from two different limb sounders: the FORMOSAT-3/COSMIC (F3/C) radio occultation (RO) technique and the Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry (SABER) instrument to study the vertical coupling of the 16-09-2015 Chile tsunami-induced perturbations from the stratosphere to the ionosphere. All three types of datasets, including temperature profiles from 10 to 55 km and 16 to 107 km, and electron density profiles from 120 to 550 km, recognized perturbations of different scales at different heights after the Chile tsunami. The vertical scales identified by the wavelet analysis are from 1–2 km, 5–9 km, and 25–50 km in the stratosphere, mesosphere, and ionosphere, respectively. Meanwhile, as a comparison and validation of the reliability, we also revisited the 11-03-2011 Tohoku earthquake/tsunami-related perturbations from the stratosphere to the ionosphere using the same data. It is believed that the two tsunamis both disturbed the whole atmosphere space, and the scale of these signals gradually increases with the increase in altitude but decreases with time. In addition, the tsunami-related ionospheric gravity wavefronts are examined by the F3/C observations. Another interesting point is that the temperature perturbations recorded by the SABER from 70–100 km altitude are found to arrive earlier than the 2015 tsunami wavefront. With the development of industrialization and urbanization, the consumption and pollution of water resources are becoming more and more serious. Water quality monitoring is an extremely important technical means to protect water resources. However, the current popular water quality monitoring methods have their shortcomings, such as a low signal-to-noise ratio of satellites, poor time continuity of unmanned aerial vehicles, and frequent maintenance of in situ underwater probes. A non-contact near-surface system that can continuously monitor water quality fluctuation is urgently needed. This study proposes an automatic near-surface water quality monitoring system, which can complete the physical equipment construction, data collection, and processing of the application scenario, prove the feasibility of the self-developed equipment and methods and obtain high-performance retrieval results of four water quality parameters, namely chemical oxygen demand (COD), turbidity, ammoniacal nitrogen (NH3-N), and dissolved oxygen (DO). For each water quality parameter, fourteen machine learning algorithms were compared and evaluated with five assessment indexes. Because the ensemble learning models combine the prediction results of multiple basic learners, they have higher robustness in the prediction of water quality parameters. The optimal determination coefficients ( R 2 ) of COD, turbidity, NH3-N, and DO in the test dataset are 0.92, 0.98, 0.95, and 0.91, respectively. Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) removal from various industrial gases is crucial because it can cause huge damage to humans, the environment, and industrial production. Zeolite possesses huge specific surface area and well-developed pore structure, making it a promising adsorbent for H2S removal. This review attempts to comprehensively compile the current studies in the literature on H2S removal in gas purification processes using zeolites, including experimental and simulation studies, mechanism theory, and practical applications. Si/Al ratio, cations of zeolite, industrial gas composition and operating conditions, and H2S diffusion in zeolites affect desulfurization performance. However, further efforts are still needed to figure out the influence rules of the factors above and H2S removal mechanisms. Underfloor air distribution (UFAD) systems are increasingly used for their advantages in improving energy savings, indoor air quality, and thermal comfort. In UFAD systems, an underfloor plenum delivers conditioned air to the air supply diffusers. The distribution of internal air velocity and static pressure in plenums determines the uniformity of the airflow to the occupied zones. As a result, the plenum has a detrimental effect on the characteristics of the supply air and, thus, the resulting indoor air quality and thermal comfort. Nevertheless, most existing studies on underfloor plenums focused on small-scale plenums with a single internal air duct. Large plenums and multiple air ducts in UFAD equipped in large premises are underexplored. In this study, a circular underfloor plenum with a large scale (radius of 15 m, height difference of 0.9−2.9 m) and 503 under-seat diffusers in a conference room was studied using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation (ANSYS Fluent (16.0)). The distributions of airflow velocity and static pressure inside the plenum were analyzed and compared to one concentrated air supply mode and three uniform air supply modes. Based on the air velocity at the center of under-seat diffusers, the outgoing airflow uniformity from the diffusers under four cases was evaluated by the index of air velocity uniformity. The results showed that the multiple supply ducts with bottom air outlets yielded the best uniformity of supply air. The sweet potato is very sensitive to low temperature. Our previous study revealed that IbMPK3-overexpressing transgenic sweet potato (M3) plants showed stronger low-temperature stress tolerance than wild-type plants (WT). However, the mechanism of M3 plants in response to low-temperature stress is unclear. To further analyze how IbMPK3 mediates low-temperature stress in sweet potato, WT and M3 plants were exposed to low-temperature stress for 2 h and 12 h for RNA-seq analysis, whereas normal conditions were used as a control (CK). In total, 3436 and 8718 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified in WT at 2 h (vs. CK) and 12 h (vs. CK) under low-temperature stress, respectively, whereas 1450 and 9291 DEGs were detected in M3 plants, respectively. Many common and unique DEGs were analyzed in WT and M3 plants. DEGs related to low temperature were involved in Ca2+ signaling, MAPK cascades, the reactive oxygen species (ROS) signaling pathway, hormone transduction pathway, encoding transcription factor families (bHLH, NAC, and WRKY), and downstream stress-related genes. Additionally, more upregulated genes were associated with the MAPK pathway in M3 plants during short-term low-temperature stress (CK vs. 2 h), and more upregulated genes were involved in secondary metabolic synthesis in M3 plants than in the WT during the long-time low-temperature stress treatment (CK vs. 12 h), such as fatty acid biosynthesis and elongation, glutathione metabolism, flavonoid biosynthesis, carotenoid biosynthesis, and zeatin biosynthesis. Moreover, the interaction proteins of IbMPK3 related to photosynthesis, or encoding CaM, NAC, and ribosomal proteins, were identified using yeast two-hybrid (Y2H). Triple perovskite has been recently developed for the intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cell (IT-SOFC). The performance of Nd1.5Ba1.5CoFeMnO9−δ (NBCFM) cathodes for IT-SOFC is investigated in this work. The interfacial polarization resistance (RP) of NBCFM is 1.1273 Ω cm2~0.1587 Ω cm2 in the range of 700–800 °C, showing good electrochemical performance. The linear thermal expansion coefficient of NBCFM is 17.40 × 10−6 K−1 at 40–800 °C, which is significantly higher than that of the electrolyte. In order to further improve the electrochemical performance and reduce the thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) of NBCFM, Ce0.8Sm0.2O2−δ (SDC) is mixed with NBCFM to prepare an NBCFM-xSDC composite cathode (x = 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 wt.%). The thermal expansion coefficient decreases monotonically from 17.40 × 10−6 K−1 to 15.25 × 10−6 K−1. The surface oxygen exchange coefficient of NBCFM-xSDC at a given temperature increases from 10−4 to 10−3 cm s−1 over the p o 2 range from 0.01 to 0.09 atm, exhibiting fast surface exchange kinetics. The area specific resistance (ASR) of NBCFM-30%SDC is 0.06575 Ω cm2 at 800 °C, which is only 41% of the ASR value of NBCFM (0.15872 Ω cm2). The outstanding performance indicates the feasibility of NBCFM-30% SDC as an IT-SOFC cathode material. Listeria monocytogenes is a major foodborne pathogen that can cause listeriosis in humans and animals. Andrographolide is known as a natural antibiotic and exhibits good antibacterial activity. We aimed to investigate the effect of andrographolide on two quorum-sensing (QS) systems, LuxS/AI-2 and Agr/AIP of L. monocytogenes, as well as QS-controlled phenotypes in this study. Our results showed that neither luxS expression nor AI-2 production was affected by andrographolide. Nevertheless, andrographolide significantly reduced the expression levels of the agr genes and the activity of the agr promoter P2. Results from the crystal violet staining method, confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM), and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) demonstrated that andrographolide remarkably inhibited the biofilm-forming ability of L. monocytogenes 10403S. The preformed biofilms were eradicated when exposed to andrographolide, and reduced surviving cells were also observed in treated biofilms. L. monocytogenes treated with andrographolide exhibited decreased ability to secrete LLO and adhere to and invade Caco-2 cells. Scoria aggregate concrete (SAC) as new green material has been gradually used in some construction projects for its lightweight and high strength, which can reduce the environmental impact of construction materials. In this paper, the residual mechanical properties and intact compressive stress-strain relationships of polypropylene (PP) fiber-reinforced Scoria aggregate concrete after high-temperature exposure at 20, 200, 400, 600, and 800 °C were investigated. The failure modes of PP fiber-reinforced Scoria aggregate concrete specimens and the effect of high temperatures on the peak stress, secant modulus, and peak strain were obtained. The results showed that the residual compressive strength of heated concrete is significantly reduced when the temperature exceeds 400 °C. The residual strength and residual secant modulus of PP fiber-reinforced Scoria aggregate concrete are significantly higher than those of ordinary concrete. The Scoria aggregate concrete specimens with PP fibers exhibited fewer surface cracks and fewer edge bursts under high temperatures. This review paper examines the evolution of photodynamic therapy (PDT) as a novel, minimally invasive strategy for treating atherosclerosis, a leading global health concern. Atherosclerosis is characterized by the accumulation of lipids and inflammation within arterial walls, leading to significant morbidity and mortality through cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction and stroke. Traditional therapeutic approaches have primarily focused on modulating risk factors such as hypertension and hyperlipidemia, with emerging evidence highlighting the pivotal role of inflammation. Due to the interaction of accumulated charges on the surface of a test mass with the surrounding electric and magnetic fields, the performance of inertial sensors is affected, necessitating charge management for the test mass. Discharge technology based on Ultraviolet LEDs is internationally recognized as the optimal solution for charge management. Precision driving of Ultraviolet LEDs is considered a key technology in charge management. This paper presents the driving control system used for Ultraviolet LEDs, achieving precision pulse-width-modulation-type current output with controllable pulse width and amplitude. The system generates the pulse-width-controllable pulse voltage signal via analog pulse-width modulation, and subsequently regulates the amplitude of the PWM signal through range switching. To convert the voltage into the pulse-width-modulation-type driving current, the improved Howland current source is employed. The test results demonstrate that the driving control system can output controllable current in the range of 0.01 mA to 10 mA, with a minimum step of 0.01 mA. The accuracy of the current reaches 1%, the stability within 1 h is better than 1%, and the load regulation is better than 2%. Temperature and precipitation are crucial indicators for investigating climate changes, necessitating precise measurements for rigorous scientific inquiry. While the Fifth Generation of European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts Atmospheric Reanalysis (ERA5), ERA5 of the Land Surface (ERA5-Land), and China Meteorological Forcing Dataset (CMFD) temperature and precipitation products are widely used worldwide, their suitability for the Altay region of arid and semi-arid areas has received limited attention. Here, we used the Altay region as the study area, utilizing meteorological station data and implementing the residual revision method for temperature and the coefficient revision method for precipitation to rectify inaccuracies in monthly temperature and precipitation records from ERA5-Land, ERA5, and CMFD. We evaluate the accuracy of these datasets before and after correction using bias, Taylor diagrams, and root-mean-square error (RMSE) metrics. Additionally, we employ Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission satellite precipitation data (TRMM) as a benchmark to assess the performance of ERA5-Land, ERA5, and CMFD monthly precipitation before and after correction. The results revealed significant differences in the temperature and precipitation capture capabilities of ERA5-Land, ERA5, and CMFD in the Altay region. Overall, these data exhibit substantial errors and are not directly suitable for scientific research. However, we applied residual and coefficient revision methods. After this revision, ERA5-Land, ERA5, and CMFD showed significantly improved temperature and precipitation capture capabilities, especially for ERA5-Land. In terms of temperature, post-revision-CMFD (CMFDPR) demonstrated better temperature capture capabilities. All three datasets showed weaker performance in mountainous regions compared to plains. Notably, post-revision-ERA5 (ERA5PR) seemed unsuitable for capturing temperature in the Altay region. Concerning rain, CMFDPR, post-revision-ERA5-Land (ERA5-LandPR) and ERA5PR outperformed TRMM in capturing precipitation. CMFDPR and ERA5-LandPR both outperform ERA5PR. In summary, the revision datasets effectively compensated for the sparse distribution of meteorological stations in the Altay region, providing reliable data support for studying climate change in arid and semi-arid areas. Accurately estimating vegetation productivity is important in research on terrestrial ecosystems, carbon cycles and climate change. Eight-day gross primary production (GPP) and annual net primary production (NPP) are contained in MODerate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) products (MOD17), which are considered the first operational datasets for monitoring global vegetation productivity. However, the cloud-contaminated MODIS leaf area index (LAI) and Fraction of Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FPAR) retrievals may introduce some considerable errors to MODIS GPP and NPP products. In this paper, global eight-day GPP and eight-day NPP were first estimated based on Global LAnd Surface Satellite (GLASS) LAI and FPAR products. Then, GPP and NPP estimates were validated by FLUXNET GPP data and BigFoot NPP data and were compared with MODIS GPP and NPP products. Compared with MODIS GPP, a time series showed that estimated GLASS GPP in our study was more temporally continuous and spatially complete with smoother trajectories. Validated with FLUXNET GPP and BigFoot NPP, we demonstrated that estimated GLASS GPP and NPP achieved higher precision for most vegetation types. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP) abolished its total ban on religious activities in 1982. However, the distrust that the CCP feels for religions remains obvious today, and the religious restrictions in contemporary China remain tight. Conventional wisdom tells us that the official atheist ideology of Marxism-Leninism is the main reason behind the CCP's distrust for, and restriction of, religion. However, taking a historical institutionalist perspective, this paper argues that the religious restrictions in contemporary China are in fact rooted in the fierce political struggles of the country's two major revolutions in the first half of the twentieth century. Without the support of religious groups, the Nationalist Republicans would have found it difficult to survive and succeed in overthrowing the Qing Dynasty during the Chinese Republican Revolution in the first decade of the twentieth century. Likewise, without cooperating with a wide range of religious groups, the CCP would have struggled to defeat the Nationalist regime and the Japanese invaders in the Chinese Communist Revolution between 1920s and 1940s. Thanks to the collaborations and struggles with various religious groups during the two revolutions which lead to its eventual ascent to power, the CCP thoroughly understands the organisational strength and mobilising capability embedded within religious groups. The tight restrictions on religious affairs in contemporary China is therefore likely to stem from the CCP's worry that prospective competitors could mobilise religious groups to challenge its rule through launching, supporting, or sponsoring collective actions. Aminotransferases are enzymes found in living organisms that catalyze transfer reactions between amino acids and keto acids, crucial for amino acid metabolism and synthesis. Aminotransferase classes I and II play a vital role in regulating osmolarity, protecting cells, and improving metabolic homeostasis and cellular fitness. To investigate the characteristics of the aminotransferase class I and II gene family and their roles in osmotic pressure regulation in the Jinjiang oyster (Crassostrea ariakensis), the gene structure, chromosomal localization, and phylogeny were characterized and the genes' expression in the gill under high-salt stress was analyzed. In this study, eighteen Aminotransferase class I and II genes, including SPTLCa and SPTLCb, SPTa and SPTb, ALAT2a and ALAT2b, KAT3a and KAT3b, and ASTa, ASTb and ASTc, were identified. The physicochemical properties of 11 family members were stable, with their instability factors less than 40. Subcellular localization prediction showed that aminotransferase classes I and II were localized in the cytoplasm or mitochondria. Chromosomal localization results showed that the 18 aminotransferase class I and II genes were located on eight chromosomes. All members of this gene family had the Aminotran_1_2 structural domain which is associated with osmotic pressure regulation by adjusting the conversion reaction between amino acids and keto acids. Most gene expressions showed an initial increase followed by a decrease from 0 h to 12 h when the oysters were challenged by acute stress using artificial seawater with a salinity of 40. However, the expression of CarAGT2 and CarKAT3b genes showed an increased trend with increasing stress time. This study systematically investigated the bioinformatics characteristics of the aminotransferase class I and II gene family in C. ariakensis and their role in osmotic pressure regulation, which provides scientific data for understanding the potential functions of these genes in physiological adaptation, thereby expanding the research on osmoregulation in bivalves. Due to the increasing capabilities of cybercriminals and the vast quantity of sensitive data, it is necessary to protect remote sensing images during data transmission with "Belt and Road" countries. Joint image compression and encryption techniques exhibit reliability and cost-effectiveness for data transmission. However, the existing methods for multiband remote sensing images have limitations, such as extensive preprocessing times, incompatibility with multiple bands, and insufficient security. To address the aforementioned issues, we propose a joint encryption and compression algorithm (JECA) for multiband remote sensing images, including a preprocessing encryption stage, crypto-compression stage, and decoding stage. In the first stage, multiple bands from an input image can be spliced together in order from left to right to generate a grayscale image, which is then scrambled at the block level by a chaotic system. In the second stage, we encrypt the DC coefficient and AC coefficient. In the final stage, we first decrypt the DC coefficient and AC coefficient, and then restore the out-of-order block through the chaotic system to get the correct grayscale image. Finally, we postprocess the grayscale image and reconstruct it into a remote sensing image. The experimental results show that JECA can reduce the preprocessing time of the sender by 50% compared to existing joint encryption and compression methods. It is also compatible with multiband remote sensing images. The arid terrestrial ecosystem carbon cycle is one of the most important parts of the global carbon cycle, but it is vulnerable to external disturbances. As the most direct factor affecting the carbon cycle, how land cover change affects vegetation carbon sources/sinks in arid terrestrial ecosystems remains unclear. In this study, we chose the arid region of northwest China (ARNWC) as the study area and used net ecosystem productivity (NEP) as an indicator of vegetation carbon source/sink. Subsequently, we described the spatial distribution and temporal dynamics of vegetation carbon sources/sinks in the ARNWC from 2001–2018 by combining the Carnegie-Ames-Stanford Approach (CASA) and a soil microbial heterotrophic respiration (RH) model and assessed the effects of land cover change on them through modeling scenario design. We found that land cover change had an obvious positive impact on vegetation carbon sinks. Among them, the effect of land cover type conversion contributed to an increase in total NEP of approximately 1.77 Tg C (reaching 15.55% of the original value), and after simultaneously considering the effect of vegetation growth enhancement, it contributed to an increase in total NEP of approximately 14.75 Tg C (reaching 129.61% of the original value). For different land cover types, cropland consistently contributed the most to the increment of NEP, and the regeneration of young and middle-aged forests also led to a significant increase in forest carbon sinks. Thus, our findings provide a reference for assessing the effects of land cover change on vegetation carbon sinks, and they indicated that cropland expansion and anthropogenic management dominated the growth of vegetation carbon sequestration in the ARNWC, that afforestation also benefits the carbon sink capacity of terrestrial ecosystems, and that attention should be paid to restoring and protecting native vegetation in forestland and grassland regions in the future. To study the synergistic catalysis of an ex situ catalyst and in situ clay in the aquathermolysis of heavy oil, in this paper, a series of bentonite-supported catechol-metal complexes were prepared, and the catalytic viscosity reduction performance in the aquathermolysis of heavy oil was investigated. Under the optimized conditions, the viscosity can be reduced by 73%, and the pour point can be lowered by 15.0 °C at most, showing the synergistic catalysis of the ex situ catalyst and in situ clay in this aquathermolytic reaction. Thermogravimetry, physical adsorption-desorption, and scanning electron microscopy were conducted to characterize the thermal stability and microstructure of the ex situ catalyst. The components of the heavy oil before and after the reaction were fully characterized. Six model compounds were used to simulate the aquathermolysis reaction process. In order to study the mechanism of viscosity reduction after the catalytic aquathermolysis reaction, the compounds were analyzed by GC-MS. Maize (Zea mays L.) is sensitive to a minor decrease in temperature at early growth stages, resulting in deteriorated growth at later stages. Although there are significant variations in maize germplasm in response to cold stress, the metabolic responses as stress tolerance mechanisms are largely unknown. Therefore, this study aimed at providing insight into the metabolic responses under cold stress at the early growth stages of maize. Two inbred lines, tolerant (B144) and susceptible (Q319), were subjected to cold stress at the seedling stage, and their corresponding metabolic profiles were explored. The study identified differentially accumulated metabolites in both cultivars in response to induced cold stress with nine core conserved cold-responsive metabolites. Guanosine 3′,5′-cyclic monophosphate was detected as a potential biomarker metabolite to differentiate cold tolerant and sensitive maize genotypes. Furthermore, Quercetin-3-O-(2″′-p-coumaroyl)sophoroside-7-O-glucoside, Phloretin, Phloretin-2′-O-glucoside, Naringenin-7-O-Rutinoside, L-Lysine, L-phenylalanine, L-Glutamine, Sinapyl alcohol, and Feruloyltartaric acid were regulated explicitly in B144 and could be important cold-tolerance metabolites. This study aims to investigate the features of the ionospheric mid-latitude trough over North America by using the MIT total electron content data obtained during three geomagnetic storms that occurred in August 2018, September 2017, and March 2015. The mid-latitude trough position sharply moves equatorward from the quiet-time subauroral latitude to mid-latitude with the decrease in SYM-H during geomagnetic storms. We find that the ionospheric behavior of TEC around the mid-latitude trough position displays three kinds of ionospheric storm effect: negative ionospheric storm effect, unchanged ionospheric behavior, and positive ionospheric storm effect. These ionospheric storm effects around the mid-latitude trough position are not always produced by the mid-latitude trough. The ionospheric storm effects produced by the mid-latitude trough are limited in the narrow mid-latitude trough regions, and are transmitted to other regions with the movement of the mid-latitude trough. The millimeter-wave (mmWave) Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication system has drawn attention as a critical technology to extend the restricted perception of onboard sensors and upgrade the level of vehicular safety that requires a high data rate. However, co-channel inter-link interference presents significant challenges for scalable V2V communications. To overcome such limitations, this paper firstly analyzes the required data rate ensuring maneuver safety via mmWave V2V relays in an overtaking traffic scenario. Based on these preparations, we propose a distributed radio resource management scheme that integrates spatial, frequency, and power domains for two transmission ranges (short/long). In the spatial domain, ZigZag antenna configuration is utilized to mitigate the interference, which plays a decisive role in the short inter-vehicle distance. In frequency and power domains, two resource blocks are allocated alternately, and transmit power is controlled to suppress the interference, which has a decisive impact on interference mitigation in the long inter-vehicle distance. Simulation results reveal that the achievable End-to-End (E2E) throughput maintains consistently higher than the required data rate for all vehicles. Studying the spatial representativeness of carbon flux measurement data for typical land cover types can provide important information for benchmarking Earth system models and validating multiple-scale remote sensing products. In our study, daily gross primary productivity (GPP) was firstly derived from eddy covariance observation systems and seasonal variations in field GPP were analyzed at nine flux tower sites for typical land cover types in the Heihe River Basin, China. Then, the real-time footprint distance and climate footprint distance of the field GPP were obtained by using a footprint source area model. Lastly, multiple-scale GPP products were validated at footprint scale, and the impacts (measurement height, surface roughness and turbulent state of the atmosphere) on the footprint distance of field GPP were analyzed. The results of this paper demonstrated that climate footprint distances ranged from about 500 m to 1500 m for different land cover types in the Heihe River Basin. The accuracy was higher when validating MODIS GPP products at footprint scale (R2 = 0.56, RMSE = 3.07 g C m−2 d−1) than at field scale (R2 = 0.51, RMSE = 3.34 g C m−2 d−1), and the same situation occurred in the validation of high-resolution downscaled GPP (R2 = 0.85, RMSE = 1.34 g C m−2 d−1 when validated at footprint scale; R2 = 0.82, RMSE = 1.47 g C m−2 d−1 when validated at field scale). The results of this study provide information about the footprints of field GPP for typical land cover types in arid and semi-arid areas in Northwestern China, and reveal that precision may be higher when validating multiple-scale remote sensing GPP products at the footprint scale than at the field scale. A dynamic model of an L-shaped multi-beam joint structure is presented to investigate the nonlinear dynamic behavior of the system. Firstly, the nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) of motion for the beams, the governing equations of the tip mass, and their matching conditions and boundary conditions are obtained. The natural frequencies and the global mode shapes of the linearized model of the system are determined, and the orthogonality relations of the global mode shapes are established. Then, the global mode shapes and their orthogonality relations are used to derive a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) that govern the motion of the L-shaped multi-beam jointed structure. The accuracy of the model is verified by the comparison of the natural frequencies solved by the frequency equation and the ANSYS. Based on the nonlinear ODEs obtained in this model, the dynamic responses are worked out to investigate the effect of the tip mass and the joint on the nonlinear dynamic characteristic of the system. Simple Summary: The clinical management for aggressive meningiomas remains challenging due to the lack of systemic treatment options. Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) are frequently overexpressed in meningiomas and are associated with poor patient survival. In this study, we evaluated the clinically approved pan-RTK inhibitor ponatinib as a novel candidate for the treatment of aggressive meningiomas. Ponatinib decreased cell viability and proliferation of meningioma cells and subsequently induced programmed cell death. Furthermore, the drug demonstrated a considerable tumor growth inhibition without causing any adverse effects in mice. Mechanistically, this was presumably caused by blocking the PDGFR signaling pathway accompanied by induction of mitochondrial dysfunction. Altogether, the multi-RTKi ponatinib may serve as a promising candidate for targeted therapy for aggressive meningiomas. To date, there is no standard-of-care systemic therapy for the treatment of aggressive meningiomas. Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTK) are frequently expressed in aggressive meningiomas and are associated with poor survival. Ponatinib is a FDA- and EMA-approved RTK inhibitor and its efficacy in meningioma has not been studied so far. Therefore, we investigated ponatinib as a potential drug candidate against meningioma. Cell viability and cell proliferation of ponatinib-treated meningioma cells were assessed using crystal violet assay, manual counting and BrdU assay. Treated meningioma cell lines were subjected to flow cytometry to evaluate the effects on cell cycle and apoptosis. Meningioma-bearing mice were treated with ponatinib to examine antitumor effects in vivo. qPCR was performed to assess the mRNA levels of tyrosine kinase receptors after ponatinib treatment. Full-length cDNA sequencing was carried out to assess differential gene expression. IC50 values of ponatinib were between 171.2 and 341.9 nM in three meningioma cell lines. Ponatinib induced G0/G1 cell cycle arrest and subsequently led to an accumulation of cells in the subG1-phase. A significant induction of apoptosis was observed in vitro. In vivo, ponatinib inhibited meningioma growth by 72.6%. Mechanistically, this was associated with downregulation of PDGFRA/B and FLT3 mRNA levels, and mitochondrial dysfunction. The complex air environment makes it urgent to build good and safe indoor environments, and the study and application of new materials have become the focus of current research. In this study, we tested and analyzed the structural parameters and filtration performances of the four most commonly used new filter materials in the current market. The results showed that all four new filter materials showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing their filtration efficiency with an increase in filtration velocity. The filtration efficiency of the materials was as follows: PTFE > glass fiber > nanomaterial > electret. The filtration efficiency of all materials reached its maximum when the filtration velocity was 0.2 m/s. The filtration efficiency of the PTFE for PM10, PM2.5, and PM1.0 was higher than that of the other three materials, with values of 0.87% to 24.93%, 1.21% to 18.69%, and 0.56% to 16.03%, respectively. PTFE was more effective in capturing particles smaller than 1.0 μm. Within the testing velocity range, the resistance of the filter materials was as follows: glass fiber > PTFE > electret > nanomaterial, and the resistance of the four materials showed a good fitting effect. It is also necessary to match the resistance with the filtration efficiency during use, as well as to study the effectiveness of filter materials in blocking microorganisms and absorbing toxic gases. Overall, PTFE showed the best comprehensive performance, as well as providing data support for the selection of related materials or the synthesis and research of filter materials in the future. The Taiji program is dedicated to the detection of middle and low-frequency gravitational waves, targeting the 0.1 mHz to 1 Hz frequency band. The project requires an acceleration residual sensitivity of 3 × 10−15 ms−2/Hz1/2, which necessitates a capacitance sensing resolution of 1 aF/Hz1/2 for the capacitive sensing system within the specified frequency range. The noise level of the resonant bridge significantly influences the resolution. Addressing the challenges in enhancing transformer performance parameters in existing resonant capacitance bridges and the constraints on improving the characteristics of resonant capacitance bridges, this study introduces a novel approach to reduce bridge thermal noise without optimizing existing parameters. The simulation results demonstrate that this scheme can reduce the noise to 0.7 times the original level and further reduce bridge thermal noise when other parameters affecting noise are optimized. This not only mitigates the demands for other performance parameters but also increases the range of maximum acceptable resonant frequency deviations and reduces its sensitivity to such variations. Experimental validation confirms that the proposed scheme effectively reduces noise by 0.7 times and improves the resolution of capacitance sensing to 0.6 aF/Hz1/2, thereby advancing the Taiji program gravitational wave detection capabilities. This study investigates the efficacy of a novel low-cost phosphate adsorbent, denoted as SH-CGCS, derived from coal gasification coarse slag (CGCS) via an alkali activation method. SH-CGCS is a mesoporous material with a specific surface area (64 m2/g) approximately six times larger than CGCS (11 m2/g), which enhances its adsorption capacity compared with CGCS. Furthermore, SH-CGCS achieves a phosphate adsorption capacity of 38.5 mg/g in strongly acidic water (pH 3) and demonstrates robust acid resistance, which makes it particularly effective for phosphate removal from acidic wastewater. Results from coexisting anion experiments affirm the good adsorption selectivity of SH-CGCS for phosphate. Moreover, SH-CGCS exhibits proficiency in treating water containing low phosphate concentrations under flowing conditions. The maximum phosphate adsorption capacity of SH-CGCS calculated using the Langmuir model is 23.92 mg/g, surpassing that of other reported adsorbents. Importantly, saturated SH-CGCS can be regenerated and reused, which contributes to its practical applicability. The adsorption mechanisms of SH-CGCS for phosphate involve ligand exchange, inner-sphere complexation, surface precipitation, and electrostatic adsorption. Thus, this study not only enhances the overall utility of CGCS but also presents a simple and efficient method for removing phosphate. In response to the significant dependency on empirical judgment in measuring the prompt neutron decay constant with the traditional Rossi-alpha method and the issue of requiring an excessive number of detectors with the DMD-Rossi-alpha method, this paper introduces a calculation method for the prompt neutron decay constant based on a combination of Latin Hypercube Sampling (LHS), Dynamic Mode Decomposition (DMD), and the Rossi-alpha method. Initially, the method uses LHS to expand the sample dataset of neutron noise data to reduce the number of detectors required. It then employs the Rossi-alpha method to construct a Rossi-alpha distribution model from neutron noise data. Finally, it utilizes DMD for feature extraction from the Rossi-alpha distribution model, thereby determining the prompt neutron decay constant. Research findings demonstrate that, by simulating the KUCA facility using RMC3.5 in a near-critical state, the relative error of the α value calculated by the LHS-DMD-Rossi-alpha method model is 9% less than that calculated by the Rossi-alpha method. This approach, capable of enhancing the precision of measuring the prompt neutron decay constant with just a single detector, holds significant theoretical value and engineering significance for the advancement of reactor physics and experimental techniques. To analyze the association between non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and the incidence of diabetic nephropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes, the incidence of diabetic nephropathy was assessed in 413 type 2 diabetic patients, by testing the 24 h urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER). The NAFLD was diagnosed based on patient's medical history and liver ultrasound. The difference in diabetic nephropathy incidence between patients with and without NAFLD was tested by ϗ². Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to assess the factors associated with diabetic nephropathy among type 2 diabetic patients. Total 363 out of 413 type 2 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. The incidences of NAFLD and diabetic nephropathy in participants were approximately 56% (202/363) and 38% (137/363) respectively, and there was no significant difference in the prevalence of diabetic nephropathy between patients with and without NAFLD (37.1% vs. 38.5%, p = 0.787). The duration of diabetes (odds ratio [OR] 1.065, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.014-1.120, p = 0.012), waist circumference (OR 1.077, 95% CI 1.040-1.116, p = 0.000), and fasting blood glucose (FBG; OR 1.136, 95% CI 1.023-1.1262, p = 0.017) were significantly associated with diabetic nephropathy, whereas sex, high blood pressure, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), and ankle brachial pressure index (ABI) were not significantly associated with the disorder. The present results suggest that NAFLD is not related to the incidence of diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes, but the duration of diabetes, waist circumference, and FBG are important factors for diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes. Fluctuations in serum autofluorescence (AF) intensity have recently been widely used as markers of certain diseases such as cancer. To determine the diagnostic value of serum AF intensity for liver fibrosis in rats, we induced liver fibrosis by subcutaneous injection of carbon tetrachloride into rats. The rat serum AF intensities were detected at the excitation wavelength of 337 nm and the emission wavelength of 512 nm. The degree of liver fibrosis was evaluated by Van Gieson's staining. The relationship between serum AF intensity and the degree of liver fibrosis was analyzed by Spearman and Pearson Correlation. The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of the serum AF was determined by analyzing the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. Our results show that the serum AF intensity in the rat liver fibrosis model increased when compared with control rats eight weeks and twelve weeks post induction of liver fibrosis. However, there was no significant difference in serum AF intensity between fibrotic and control rats at four week post induction. Furthermore, serum AF intensity correlated positively with the severity of the degree of hepatic fibrosis. ROC analysis further suggested that serum AF intensity is a valid marker for staging fibrosis. Therefore, it may potentially be developed as a novel diagnostic tool for hepatic fibrosis. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) hyperspectral remote sensing technologies have unique advantages in high-precision quantitative analysis of non-contact water surface source concentration. Improving the accuracy of non-point source detection is a difficult engineering problem. To facilitate water surface remote sensing, imaging, and spectral analysis activities, a UAV-based hyperspectral imaging remote sensing system was designed. Its prototype was built, and laboratory calibration and a joint air–ground water quality monitoring activity were performed. The hyperspectral imaging remote sensing system of UAV comprised a light and small UAV platform, spectral scanning hyperspectral imager, and data acquisition and control unit. The spectral principle of the hyperspectral imager is based on the new high-performance acousto-optic tunable (AOTF) technology. During laboratory calibration, the spectral calibration of the imaging spectrometer and image preprocessing in data acquisition were completed. In the UAV air–ground joint experiment, combined with the typical water bodies of the Yangtze River mainstream, the Three Gorges demonstration area, and the Poyang Lake demonstration area, the hyperspectral data cubes of the corresponding water areas were obtained, and geometric registration was completed. Thus, a large field-of-view mosaic and water radiation calibration were realized. A chlorophyl-a (Chl-a) sensor was used to test the actual water control points, and 11 traditional Chl-a sensitive spectrum selection algorithms were analyzed and compared. A random forest algorithm was used to establish a prediction model of water surface spectral reflectance and water quality parameter concentration. Compared with the back propagation neural network, partial least squares, and PSO-LSSVM algorithms, the accuracy of the RF algorithm in predicting Chl-a was significantly improved. The determination coefficient of the training samples was 0.84; root mean square error, 3.19 μg/L; and mean absolute percentage error, 5.46%. The established Chl-a inversion model was applied to UAV hyperspectral remote sensing images. The predicted Chl-a distribution agreed with the field observation results, indicating that the UAV-borne hyperspectral remote sensing water quality monitoring system based on AOTF is a promising remote sensing imaging spectral analysis tool for water.
