The use of air springs has become widespread in various industries due to their exceptional superelastic properties; however, their strong nonlinear characteristics have become a hindrance to numerical simulations of air springs and have garnered increasing attention. This paper examined the nonlinear dynamic mechanical characteristics of air springs from a fluid–structure interaction perspective and verified the accuracy of the simulation analysis model through quasistatic tension and compression experiments. The average relative errors for air spring load and gas pressure were found to be 8.1% and 7.7%, respectively, which supports the validity of the model. The impact of frequency and amplitude excitations on the axial load characteristics of air springs was investigated through tension and torsion testing. The results showed that increasing the excitation frequency improves the stability of the axial load, while increasing the excitation amplitude enhances the axial load value. The change in axial compression was found to be more significant than that in axial tension, as it was affected not only by the axial load but also by the radial load, which is a key factor affecting the dynamic characteristics of air springs. A radial load analysis model was established to study the influence of frequency and amplitude excitations on the axial load characteristics of air springs. The simulation results indicated that under different amplitudes, the radial load of air springs goes through four stages: a steady period, rising period, steady period, and falling period. Additionally, under the same amplitude, the radial load value increases with an increase in frequency. This research on the dynamic load characteristics of air springs under amplitude and frequency excitations is important for their application in low-frequency and low-amplitude vibration environments, and its findings can be utilized to improve the technical parameters of air springs for suspension damping. Recently, the coding metasurface has gained significant attention due to its exceptional potential in controlling electromagnetic (EM) waves with the rapid development of wireless communication systems. Meanwhile, graphene shows tremendous promise for the implementation of reconfigurable antennas due to its high tunable conductivity and its unique property that makes it a very suitable material for realizing steerable coded states. In this paper, we first propose a simple structured beam reconfigurable millimeter wave (MMW) antenna using a novel graphene-based coding metasurface (GBCM). Different from the previous method, its coding state can be manipulated by altering the sheet impedance of graphene instead of bias voltage. Then, we design and simulate several most popular coding sequences, including dual-, quad-and single-beam-generated implement, 30° beam deflection, as well as a random coding sequence for radar cross-section (RCS) reduction. The theoretical and simulation results show that graphene has great potential for MMW manipulation applications, which lay a foundation for the subsequent development and fabrication of GBCM. Due to the modulation of tiny frequency offset on the array elements, a frequency diverse array (FDA) jammer can generate multiple range-dimension point false targets, and many deception jamming methods against SAR using an FDA jammer have been studied. However, the potential of the FDA jammer to generate barrage jamming has rarely been reported. In this paper, a barrage jamming method against SAR using an FDA jammer is proposed. To achieve two-dimensional (2-D) barrage effect, the stepped frequency offset of FDA is introduced to generate range-dimensional barrage patches, and the micro-motion modulation is employed to increase the extent of barrage patches along the azimuth direction. Since 2006, with the implementation of a series of national research projects in the field of earthen site conservation, the Chinese theoretical foundation and technological conservation system for the protection of earthen sites in arid environments has gradually formed. However, there are some global problems such as an unclear relationship between characteristics of diseases on sites and their existing environment, unclear deterioration mechanisms under multi-field coupling, immature stability control technology under dynamic loading, the poor suitability of protection process quality assessment equipment, and a lack of systematic research on comprehensive protection synergy mechanisms. On the basis of summarizing the research achievements in the field of earthen site conservation in China for more than 30 years, and a large number of practical experiences in earthen site reinforcement engineering, this paper expounds the multi-field coupling characteristics of earthen site construction technology, the climatic environment, and dynamic loading and protection measure activities, clarifies the main characteristics of the protection of earthen sites in China at present, puts forward the key scientific and technical problems existing in the conservation of earthen sites, constructs a picture of the research on the conservation of earthen sites under the action of multi-field coupling, and discusses the protection projects of earthen sites under different environments. We hope the technological system can provide support for the transformation of earthen site conservation from the rescuing conservation stage to the stage of both rescuing and preventive conservation, and move the foundation of earthen site conservation towards the stage of preventive protection. Five new triterpenoids, oenotheralanosterols C-G (1–5), with seven known triterpenoidcompounds, namely 2α,3α,19α-trihydroxy-24-norurs4,12-dien-28-oic acid (6), 3β,23-dihydroxy-1-oxo-olean-12-en-28-oic acid (7), remangilone C (8), knoxivalic acid A (9), termichebulolide (10), rosasecotriterpene A (11), androsanortriterpene C (12), were extracted and separated from the dichloromethane part of Oenothera biennis L. The anti-pulmonary fibrosis activities of all the compounds against TGF-β1-induced damage tonormal human lung epithelial (BEAS-2B) cells were investigated in vitro. The results showed that compounds 1–2, 6, 8, and 11 exhibited significant anti-pulmonary fibrosis activities, with EC50 values ranging from 4.7 μM to 9.9 μM. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The outer steel tube in a concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) column confines the core concrete and improves the compressive strength of the core concrete. When there is a notch damage in the tube, the confinement effect may be affected. The confinement effects of the notched steel tube in rectangular CFST columns were systematically investigated by using numerical approaches. Refined three-dimensional finite element models with advanced concrete constitutive relations were established. With the verified finite element modeling method, full-sized square CFST columns with horizontal, vertical, or diagonal notches at different locations of the steel tube were simulated. Stress distributions and deformation modes of the steel tube and core concrete were analyzed. Columns with a horizontal notch at the plate center location displayed a higher axial strength reduction than those with vertical notches. A parametric study was performed to investigate the influences of concrete strengths, steel strengths, steel ratios, notch length to column width ratios, and notch angles on the compressive strengths of the rectangular CFST columns. A practical design formula was proposed based on the obtained results. Four new benzoylamide derivatives, lepidiumamide B–E (1–4), were isolated from the seeds of Lepidium apetalum Willd. The structures were determined by a combination of MS and NMR analyses. All compounds were evaluated for their protective effects against NRK-52e cell injury induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in vitro. These compounds showed significantly protective activity and ameliorated LPS-induced NRK52e cells via the Nrf2/Keap1 pathway. To study the compressive mechanical properties of a new type of brazed aluminum honeycomb plate (BAHP), tensile tests on single- and brazed-cell walls as well as compression tests in the out-of-plane, in-plane longitudinal, and transverse directions were conducted. Compared to the material properties of a traditional glued aluminum honeycomb plate (GAHP), those of the single- and brazed-cell walls of the BAHP are entirely different. Therefore, their characteristics should be considered separately when performing theoretical and simulation analysis. Under out-of-plane compression, the core of the BAHP did not debond, owing to its higher strength than that of the GAHP. In comparison, under in-plane compression in the longitudinal and transverse directions, the load–displacement characteristics, ultimate load, and failure modes also differed, and there was no large-scale cracking. Considering the characteristics of the BAHP, a strength prediction method was proposed. The simulation results demonstrated that the model built based on the new method was highly consistent with the experimental results. Defects with uneven height and debonding will cause the overall instability, and the degree of defects will influence the strength and instability displacement, which have little impact on the elastic stage.
