Timing Engineering Change Order (ECO) is time-consuming in IC design, requiring multiple rounds of timing analysis. Compared to traditional methods for accelerating timing analysis, which focus on a specific design, timing ECO requires higher accuracy and generalization because the design changes considerably after ECO. Additionally, there are challenges with slow acquisition of data for large designs and insufficient data for small designs. To solve these problems, we propose TSTL-GNN, a novel approach using two-stage transfer learning based on graph structures. Significantly, considering that delay calculation relies on transition time, we divide our model into two stages: the first stage predicts transition time, and the second stage predicts delay. Moreover, we employ transfer learning to transfer the model's parameters and features from the first stage to the second due to the similar calculation formula for delay and transition time. Experiments show that our method has good accuracy on open-source and industrial applications with an average R 2 s c o r e / M A E of 0.9952/13.36, and performs well with data-deficient designs. Compared to previous work, our model reduce prediction errors by 37.1 ps on the modified paths, which are changed by 24.27% on average after ECO. The stable R 2 score also confirms the generalization of our model. In terms of time cost, our model achieved results for path delays consuming up to 80 times less time compared to open-source tool. In this paper, an inverse problem of determining a source in a time-fractional diffusion equation is investigated. A Fourier extension scheme is used to approximate the solution to avoid the impact on smoothness caused by directly using singular system eigenfunctions for approximation. A modified implicit iteration method is proposed as a regularization technique to stabilize the solution process. The convergence rates are derived when a discrepancy principle serves as the principle for choosing the regularization parameters. Urban areas contribute to over 80% of carbon dioxide emissions, and considerable efforts are being undertaken to characterize spatiotemporal variations of CO2 (carbon dioxide) at a city, regional, and national level, aiming at providing pipelines for carbon mission reduction. The complex underlying surface composition of urban areas makes process-based and physiology-based models inadequate for simulating carbon flux in this context. In this study, long short-term memory (LSTM), support vector machine (SVM), random forest (RF), and artificial neural network (ANN) were employed to develop and investigate their viability in estimating carbon flux at the ecosystem level. All the data used in our study were derived from the long-term chronosequence observations collected from the flux towers within urban complex underlying surface, along with meteorological reanalysis datasets. To assess the generalization ability of these models, the following statistical metrics were utilized: coefficient of determination (R2), root mean square error (RMSE), and mean absolute error (MAE). Our analysis revealed that the RF model performed the best in simulating carbon flux over long time series, with the highest R2 values reaching up to 0.852, and exhibiting the smallest RMSE and MAE values at 0.293 μmol·m−2·s−1 and 0.157 μmol·m−2·s−1. As a result, the RF model was chosen for simulating carbon flux at spatial scale and assessing the impact of urban impervious surfaces in the simulation. The results showed that the RF model performs well in simulating carbon flux at the spatial scale. The input of impervious surface area index can improve the performance of the RF model in simulating carbon flux, with R2 values of 84.46% (with the impervious surface area index in) and 83.74% (without the impervious surface area index in). Furthermore, the carbon flux in Fengxian District, Shanghai, exhibited significant spatial heterogeneity: the CO2 flux in the western part of Fengxian District was less than in the eastern part, and the CO2 flux gradually increased from the west to the east. In addition, we creatively introduced the diurnal impervious surface area index based on the Kljun model, and clarified the influence of impervious surface on the spatiotemporal simulation of CO2 flux over the complex urban underlying surface. Based on these findings, we conclude that the RF models can be effectively applied for estimating carbon flux on the complex underlying urban surface. The results of our study reduce the uncertainty in modeling carbon cycling in terrestrial ecosystems, and make the variety of models for the carbon cycling of terrestrial ecosystems more diverse. Laser-based additive manufacturing has garnered significant attention in recent years as a promising 3D-printing method for fabricating metallic components. However, the surface roughness of additive manufactured components has been considered a challenge to achieving high performance. At present, the average surface roughness (Sa) of AM parts can reach high levels, greater than 50 μm, and a maximum distance between the high peaks and the low valleys of more than 300 μm, which requires post machining. Therefore, laser polishing is increasingly being utilized as a method of surface treatment for metal alloys, wherein the rapid remelting and resolidification during the process significantly alter both the surface quality and subsurface material properties. In this paper, the surface roughness, microstructures, microhardness, and wear resistance of the as-received, continuous wave laser polishing (CWLP), and pulsed laser polishing (PLP) processed samples were investigated systematically. The results revealed that the surface roughness (Sa) of the as-received sample was 6.29 μm, which was reduced to 0.94 μm and 0.84 μm by CWLP and PLP processing, respectively. It was also found that a hardened layer, about 200 μm, was produced on the Ti6Al4V alloy surface after laser polishing, which can improve the mechanical properties of the component. The microhardness of the laser-polished samples was increased to about 482 HV with an improvement of about 25.2% compared with the as-received Ti6Al4V alloy. Moreover, the coefficient of friction (COF) was slightly reduced by both CWLP and LPL processing, and the wear rate of the surface layer was improved to 0.790 mm3/(N∙m) and 0.714 mm3/(N∙m), respectively, under dry fraction conditions. The intermittent nature of wind power generation induces great challenges for power bidding in the electricity market. The deployment of battery energy storage can improve flexibility for power bidding. This paper investigates an optimal power bidding strategy for a wind–storage hybrid power plant in the day-ahead electricity market. To handle the challenges of the uncertainties of wind power generation and electricity prices, the optimal bidding problem is formulated as a risk-aware scenario-based stochastic programming, in which a number of scenarios are generated using a copula-based approach to represent the uncertainties. These scenarios consider the temporal correlation of wind power generation and electricity prices between consecutive time intervals. In the stochastic programming, a more practical but nonlinear battery operation cost function is considered, which leads to a nonlinear constrained optimization problem. To solve the nonlinear constrained optimization problem, an ensemble differential evolution (EDE) algorithm is proposed, which makes use of the merits of an ensemble of mutant operators to generate mutant vectors. Moreover, a problem-specific constraint-handling technique is developed. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed EDE algorithm, it is compared with state-of-the-art DE-based algorithms for constrained optimization problems, including a constrained composite DE (C2oDE) algorithm and a novel DE (NDE) algorithm. The experimental results demonstrate that the EDE algorithm is much more reliable and much faster in finding a better bidding strategy against benchmarking algorithms. More precisely, the average values of the success rate are 0.893, 0.667, and 0.96 for C2oDE, NDE, and EDE, respectively. Preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2 and its variants is crucial in the fight against COVID-19. Inhibition of the main protease (Mpro) of SARS-CoV-2 is the key to disrupting viral replication, making Mpro a promising target for therapy. PF-07321332 and shikonin have been identified as effective broad-spectrum inhibitors of SARS-CoV-2 Mpro. The crystal structures of SARS-CoV-2 Mpro bound to PF-07321332 and shikonin have been resolved in previous studies. However, the exact mechanism regarding how SARS-CoV-2 Mpro mutants impact their binding modes largely remains to be investigated. In this study, we expressed a SARS-CoV-2 Mpro mutant, carrying the D48N substitution, representing a class of mutations located near the active sites of Mpro. The crystal structures of Mpro D48N in complex with PF-07321332 and shikonin were solved. A detailed analysis of the interactions between Mpro D48N and two inhibitors provides key insights into the binding pattern and its structural determinants. Further, the binding patterns of the two inhibitors to Mpro D48N mutant and wild-type Mpro were compared in detail. This study illustrates the possible conformational changes when the Mpro D48N mutant is bound to inhibitors. Laser polishing is a noncontact and efficient processing method for surface treatment of different materials. It removes surface material and improves its quality by means of a laser beam that acts directly on the surface of the material. The material surface roughness is a major criterion that evaluates the polishing effect when alumina ceramics are polished by a laser. In this study, the effects of three factors, namely, laser power, scanning speed, and pulse frequency, on the surface roughness were investigated through orthogonal tests. The optimum polishing parameters were obtained through a comparison of the experimental results. Compared to the initial surface roughness (Ra = 1.624 μm), the roughness of the polished surface was reduced to Ra = 0.549 μm. A transient two-dimensional model was established by the COMSOL Multiphysics 5.5, and the flow condition of the material inside the molten pool of laser-polished alumina ceramics and the surface morphology of the smoothing process were investigated by utilizing the optimal polishing parameters obtained from the experiments. The simulation results showed that in the process of laser polishing, the fluid inside the molten pool flowed from the peaks to the valleys under the action of capillary force, and the inside of the molten pool tended to be smoothened gradually. In order to verify the correctness of the numerical model, the surface profile at the same position on the material surface was compared, and the results showed that the maximum error between the numerical simulation and the experimental results was 17.8%. Considering the importance of soil moisture in hydrological processes, it is crucial to understand the water distribution and time stability of different aerial shrub soils. There are few studies on the soil moisture of aerial vegetation in the northeastern margin of the Tengger Desert. Based on long-term monitoring data from the aerial seeding area in the northeastern margin of the Tengger Desert, the distribution characteristics of soil moisture and the temporal stability of soil moisture were studied. From June to October 2022, the soil moisture monitoring instrument WatchDog was used to monitor the long-term soil moisture changes (0–200 cm) in the four aerial afforestation plots of Hedysarum scoparium, mixed forest land (Hedysarum scoparium dominant species), mixed forest land (Calligonum mongolicum dominant species), and Calligonum mongolicum. The Spearman rank correlation coefficient was used to study the temporal stability of soil moisture in the four plots. Rainfall data were collected through small weather stations. The results show that the average soil water storage of four kinds of aerial shrub land in the study area was the highest in August, and the average soil water storage of different forest lands was different. The soil water content of the surface layer (0–30 cm) fluctuated the most in different months. The variation in soil water content in the shallow layer (30–100 cm) was smaller than that in the surface layer. The fluctuation of soil water content in the middle layer (100–150 cm) and deep layer (150–200 cm) was relatively stable. There was no strong variability in soil moisture content, and the temporal variation coefficient of surface soil moisture was the highest (31.44–39.8%), which showed moderate variability. The temporal variation coefficient of soil moisture in the shallow, middle and deep layers of all kinds of plots was significantly reduced, and the soil moisture stability of different aerial shrub land was the same. Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that the spatial pattern of soil water content in the surface layer (0–30 cm) and deep layer (150–200 cm) was more stable over time, that is, the temporal stability of soil water content was higher, and the temporal stability of soil water content in the middle and shallow layers of different types of shrub land was different. The research results help us to understand the soil hydrological process in the aerial seeding afforestation area in the northeastern margin of Tengger Desert, rationally arrange soil moisture monitoring points, efficiently manage and utilize water resources in the aerial seeding area, and provide a theoretical basis for local vegetation restoration and the optimization of the ecological environment. Laser polishing is an emerging efficient technique to remove surface asperity without polluting the environment. However, the insufficient understanding of the mechanism of laser polishing has limited its practical application in industry. In this study, a dual-beam laser polishing experiment was carried out to reduce the roughness of a primary Ti6Al4V sample, and the polishing mechanism was well studied using simulation analysis. The results showed that the surface roughness of the sample was efficiently reduced from an initial 10.96 μm to 1.421 μm using dual-beam laser processing. The simulation analysis regarding the evolution of material surface morphology and the flow behavior of the molten pool during laser the polishing process revealed that the capillary force attributed to surface tension was the main driving force for flattening the large curvature surface of the molten pool at the initial stage, whereas the thermocapillary force influenced from temperature gradient played the key role of eliminating the secondary roughness at the edge of the molten pool during the continuous wave laser polishing process. However, the effect of thermocapillary force can be ignored during the second processing stage in dual-beam laser polishing. The simulation result is well in agreement with the experimental result, indicating the accuracy of the mechanism for the dual-beam laser polishing process. In summary, this work reveals the effect of capillary force and thermocapillary force on molten pool flows during the dual-beam laser polishing processes. Simple Summary: When studying the cancer transcriptome, we found that there is no work that has conducted a global and systematic analysis of the metabolism-related genes and pathways in the cancer transcriptome, especially in connection with cancer prognosis and treatment. Therefore, we performed this work by establishing a survival risk model to associate metabolic checkpoint genes and pathways in cancer with prognosis. We screened metabolic genes and pathway signatures related to cancer survival, providing data reference for clinical treatment. Metabolic dysregulation has been reported involving in the clinical outcomes of multiple cancers. However, systematical identification of the impact of metabolic pathways on cancer prognosis is still lacking. Here, we performed a pan-cancer analysis of popular metabolic checkpoint genes and pathways with cancer prognosis by integrating information of clinical survival with gene expression and pathway activity in multiple cancer patients. By discarding the effects of age and sex, we revealed extensive and significant associations between the survival of cancer patients and the expression of metabolic checkpoint genes, as well as the activities of three primary metabolic pathways: amino acid metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, lipid metabolism, and eight nonprimary metabolic pathways. Among multiple cancers, we found the survival of kidney renal clear cell carcinoma and low-grade glioma exhibit high metabolic dependence. Salvia is a large genus with hundreds of species used in traditional Chinese medicine. Tanshinones are a highly representative class of exclusive compounds found in the Salvia genus that exhibit significant biological activity. Tanshinone components have been identified in 16 Salvia species. The CYP76AH subfamily (P450) is crucial for the synthesis of tanshinone due to its catalytic generation of polyhydroxy structures. In this study, a total of 420 CYP76AH genes were obtained, and phylogenetic analysis showed their clear clustering relationships. Fifteen CYP76AH genes from 10 Salvia species were cloned and studied from the perspectives of evolution and catalytic efficiency. Three CYP76AHs with significantly improved catalytic efficiency compared to SmCYP76AH3 were identified, providing efficient catalytic elements for the synthetic biological production of tanshinones. A structure–function relationship study revealed several conserved residues that might be related to the function of CYP76AHs and provided a new mutation direction for the study of the directed evolution of plant P450. To study the strengthening effect of carbon fiber composite materials (CFRP) on recycled concrete columns subjected to different levels of seismic damage, four column specimens were designed for pseudo-static tests. The four specimens were categorized as non-destructive without strengthening (prototype), non-destructive strengthening, medium seismic damage strengthening, and severe seismic damage strengthening based on the replacement rate of recycled aggregates and the level of seismic damage. The characteristics of the deformation damage and seismic performance indicators of each specimen were compared and analyzed. The results were verified on the OpenSees platform. A decrease was observed in the initial stiffness of the seismically damaged recycled concrete column specimens strengthened with CFRP, while the ductility, peak bearing capacity, and energy dissipation capacity of the specimens were improved. In addition, with the reduction in seismic damage, the ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the strengthened seismically damaged recycled concrete column specimens were enhanced to different degrees. In particular, the cumulative energy dissipation of the strengthened specimens exposed to medium seismic damage increased most significantly, by 32.5%. In general, the hysteretic curves of the strengthened specimens were full, and the average ductility coefficients were 4.1–6.8. CFRP strengthening was more effective for restoring and enhancing the performance of the recycled concrete column specimens with medium and lower seismic damage levels (displacement ratio ≤ 3%). Laser polishing was used to reduce the surface roughness and improve the surface properties of alumina ceramics. In this paper, a response surface experimental design scheme is used to establish a mathematical model based on the Box–Behnken central combination principle, with the surface roughness as the optimization target to optimize the optimal process parameters for the laser polishing of alumina ceramics, to suppress the polished surface cracks by preheating the material, and to study the changes of surface properties of laser-polished alumina ceramics under different preheating temperatures. The optimal laser polishing process parameters were optimized by response surface experiments with a scanning speed of 323.5 mm/s, a laser power of 73.63 W, a pulse frequency of 2.3 kHz, and a scanning spacing of 0.09 mm; compared with the initial surface roughness of 4.67 μm, the polished surface roughness was 0.96 μm under the experimentally optimized polishing parameters, and the surface cracks were suppressed after the preheating treatment. The surface roughness was further reduced to 0.74 μm, and the surface wear coefficient was reduced from 0.5939 to 0.5725, while the surface hardness was increased from 1810 to 2063 HV. Optimization of the laser polishing process parameters through the response surface can significantly reduce the surface roughness of the material, while the flame preheating, assisted by the laser-polished surface wear resistance and hardness, is improved. The development of oral drug delivery systems is challenging, and issues related to the mucus layer and low intestinal epithelial permeability have not yet been surmounted. The purpose of this study was to develop a promising formulation that is more adapted to in vivo absorption and to facilitate the administration of oral liraglutide. Cationic liposomes (CLs) linked to AT-1002 were prepared using a double-emulsion method, and BSA was adsorbed on the surface of the AT-CLs, resulting in protein corona cationic liposomes with AT-1002 (Pc-AT-CLs). The preparation method was determined by investigating various process parameters. The particle size, potential, and encapsulation efficiency (EE%) of the Pc-AT-CLs were 202.9 ± 12.4 nm, 1.76 ± 4.87 mV, and 84.63 ± 5.05%, respectively. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) imaging revealed a nearly spherical structure of the Pc-AT-CLs, with a recognizable coating. The circular dichroism experiments confirmed that the complex preparation process did not affect the secondary structure of liraglutide. With the addition of BSA and AT-1002, the mucosal accumulation of the Pc-AT-CLs was nearly two times lower than that of the AT-CLs, and the degree of enteric metaplasia was 1.35 times higher than that of the PcCLs. The hydropower unit commitment (HUC) is often indirectly considered by combining individual units in a hydropower plant into a plant-based generator to alleviate the dimensional difficulty in short-term hydropower scheduling of cascaded reservoirs. This work presents three procedures to combine operating zones of units in a hydropower plant into the plant-based operating zones, including an exhaustive method (M01) that enumerates all the possible combinations, a discrete method (M03) that investigates discrete values to see if they are in an operating zone, and a bound oriented method (M04) that explores new operating zones with an optimization solver. The procedures are compared with a previous one (M02) that merges the operating zones of a unit one by one in order. The experiments of the methods in 11 case studies involving a variety of hydropower plants reveal that the second method (M02) should always be recommended due to its strength, which is even more prominent than any other methods in dealing with large-scale problems, and errors occur when using interpolation to estimate the plant-based operating zones at a water head between two sampling water heads. Fresh corn is a kind of herbaceous plant with rich nutritive value and a reasonable composition of fatty acids; however, there is little research on methods for the systemic nutritional evaluation of fatty acids in fresh corn. The aim of the present study was to conduct a comparative analysis of the fatty acid profiles of Chinese Huangnuo 9 sweet-waxy corn from the provinces of Inner Mongolia, Jilin, and Heilongjiang by gas chromatography; to establish a nutritional evaluation system according to the impacts of nutrients from fatty acids on human health; and finally, to evaluate, compare and rank fresh sweet-waxy corn grown in different regions. Tocopherols were detected by liquid chromatography in order to demonstrate the anti-oxidation activity of fresh corn's fatty acids. The fatty acid contents and compositions of the 12 samples from the three regions are significantly different from each other. The nutrient value of the fatty acids in fresh corn was analyzed by factor analysis and a linear structural relation model, followed by the fitting and appraising of the model. The studied fresh sweet-waxy corn 1-4 from Inner Mongolia had the highest γ-tocopherol content and the closest saturated fatty acid:monounsaturated fatty acid:polyunsaturated fatty acid rate to the recommended value. The fatty acid profiles of sweet-waxy corns 2-1, 2-2, and 2-3 were the most diverse, and the comprehensive evaluation result of fresh corn 2-4 was the best; its total fatty acid content was the highest. Fresh corn 3-1 in Heilongjiang had the highest unsaturated fatty acids and lower values in its atherosclerosis index and thrombosis index, which suggested the strongest anti-atherosclerosis and anti-thrombotic ability. To improve the surface roughness of SKD61 die steel and reduce the secondary overflow of the molten pool, a steady magnetic field-assisted laser polishing method is proposed to study the effect of steady magnetic field on the surface morphology and melt pool flow behavior of SKD61 die steel. Firstly, a low-energy pulsed laser is used for the removal of impurities from the material surface; then, the CW laser, assisted by steady magnetic field, is used to polish the rough surface of SKD61 die steel to reduce the material surface roughness. The results show that the steady magnetic field-assisted laser polishing can reduce the surface roughness of SKD61 die steel from 6.1 μm to 0.607 μm, which is a 90.05% reduction compared with the initial surface roughness. Furthermore, a multi-physical-field numerical transient model involving heat transfer, laminar flow and electromagnetic field is established to simulate the flow state of the molten pool on the surface of the SKD61 die steel. This revealed that the steady magnetic field is able to inhibit the secondary overflow of the molten pool to improve the surface roughness of SKD61 slightly by reducing the velocity of the molten pool. Compared with the molten pool depth obtained experimentally, the molten pool depth simulation was 65 μm, representing an error 15.0%, thus effectively demonstrating the accuracy of the simulation model. In order to explore the clamping fatigue properties of shrink-fit holders, ANSYS software was used in this study to analyze the thermal and contact stresses during the clamping process of the shrink-fit holder, and the fatigue analysis was performed by selecting the dangerous areas based on the two stresses. A numerical control shrink-fit holder clamping fatigue test device was manufactured, and the automatic clamping of the shrink-fit holder was executed in this study. After 500 clamping repetitions, a milling test was carried out on the shrink-fit bracket. By collecting the vibration signal of the workpiece during processing and measuring the change in the surface roughness of the workpiece, and then analyzing the change in the machining performance of the shrink-fit holder under different clamping times, we were able to compare and verify the accuracy of the finite element fatigue analysis. Profound malnutrition and immunodeficiency are serious negative effects of radiotherapy and bone marrow transplantation for hematologic malignancy patients. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of nutritional supplementation with a soy–whey protein mixture on hematopoietic and immune reconstitution in an allogeneic transplant mouse model. Male BALB/c (H-2Kd) mice, 6–8 weeks-old, were divided randomly into five groups and then provided with different protein nutrition support. After 28 days, blood samples, bone marrow, spleen, and thymus were harvested to measure the effects. The results showed that soy–whey blended protein supplements promoted hematopoietic stem cell engraftment, body weight recovery, and the recovery of white blood cells, lymphocytes, and neutrophils; triggered the expansion of hematopoietic stem cells and progenitor cell pools by increasing the numbers of the c-kit+ progenitor, Lin-Sca1+c-kit+, short-term hematopoietic stem cells, and multipotent progenitors; enhanced thymus re-establishment and splenic subset recovery in both organ index and absolute number; improved overall nutritional status by increasing total serum protein, albumin, and globulin; protected the liver from radiation-induced injury, and increased antioxidant capacity as indicated by lower concentrations of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, malondialdehyde, and 4-hydroxynonenal. This study indicated that soy–whey blended protein as important nutrients, from both plant and animal sources, had a greater positive effect on patients with hematological malignancies to accelerate hematopoiesis and immune reconstitution after bone marrow transplantation. Water pollution exacerbates water stress and poses a great threat to the ecosystem and human health. Construction and demolition waste (CDW) due to rapid urbanization also causes heavy environmental burdens. A major proportion of CDW can be effectively converted into recycled aggregates, which can be reused in many fields, including environment remediation. In this study, a nano ecological recycled concrete (nano-ERC) was produced with recycled aggregates and copper oxide nanoparticles (nCuO) to remove heavy metals (HMs) from a simulated wastewater effluent (SWE) for further treatment. Recycled aggregates were obtained from CDW, thereby simultaneously reducing the treatment cost of the SWE and the environmental burden of solid waste. The adsorption capacity of nano-ERC was presumed to be significantly enhanced by the addition of nCuO due to the unique large surface-to-volume ratio and other properties of nanoparticles. The SWE containing five common HMs, arsenic (As), chromium (Cr), cadmium (Cd), manganese (Mn) and lead (Pb), was filtered through a control ERC and nano-ERCs, and the concentrations of these HMs were determined with ICP-MS in the SWE and the filtrates. Results showed the nano-ERCs could significantly remove these HMs from the SWE compared to the control ERC, due to the enhanced adsorption capacity by nCuO. The relative weighted average removal percentage (RWAR%) was in the range of 53.05–71.83% for nano-ERCs and 39.27–61.65% for control ERC. Except for Cr, concentrations of these HMs in the treated wastewater effluent met the requirements for crop irrigation or scenic water supplementation; the Cr may be removed by multiple filtrations. In conclusion, nano-ERC can serve as a cost-effective approach for the further treatment of wastewater effluent and may be applied more widely in wastewater treatment to help relieve water stress. For the purpose of fixing timing violations, static timing analysis (STA) of full-corners is repeatedly executed, which is time-consuming. Given a timing path, timing results at some corners ("dominant corners") are utilized to predict timing at other corners ("non-dominant corners"), which can greatly shorten the runtime of STA. However, the huge number of combinations of the dominant corners and the wide difference in prediction accuracy make it difficult to apply multi-corner timing prediction to chip industrial design. In this paper, we propose a dominant corner selection strategy to quickly determine the dominant corner combination with high prediction accuracy, along with which a new multi-corner timing prediction process is established to speed up STA. Experimental results show that our method can not only effectively accelerate STA, but also ensure the high prediction accuracy of the prediction timing. On the public ITC'99 benchmark, the prediction accuracy of the dominant corner combination selected by the proposed method is up to 98.2%, which is an improvement of 15% compared to the state-of-the-art method. For industrial application, we apply our method by using timing results on only 2 dominant corners to predict the other 12 non-dominant corners, which accelerates the runtime of the timing closure process by more than 2×. During the basketball training for beginner children, sensors are needed to count the number of times the basketball hits the target area in a certain period of time to evaluate the training effect. This study proposes a self-powered basketball training sensor, based on a triboelectric nanogenerator. The designed sensor with a rectangular floor shape will output a pulse signal with the same frequency as the basketball impact to achieve the measurement function through the mutual contact of the internal copper (Cu) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Test results show that the working frequency of the sensor is 0 to 5 Hz, the working environment temperature should be less than 75 °C, the working environment humidity should be less than 95%, and which has high reliability. Further tests show that the maximum output voltage, current, and power of the sensor can reach about 52 V, 4 uA, and 26.5 uW with a 10 MΩ resistance in series, respectively, and the output power can light up 12 light-emitting diode (LED) lights in real-time. Compared with the traditional statistical method of manual observation, the sensor can automatically count data in a self-powered manner, and also can light up the LED lights in real-time as an indicator of whether the basketball impacts the target area, to remind beginner children in real-time. As a surface finishing technique for rapid remelting and re-solidification, laser polishing can effectively eliminate the asperities so as to approach the feature size. Nevertheless, the polished surface quality is significantly sensitive to the processing parameters, especially with respect to melt hydrodynamics. In this paper, a transient two-dimensional model was developed to demonstrate the molten flow behavior for different surface morphologies of the Ti6Al4V alloy. It is illustrated that the complex evolution of the melt hydrodynamics involving heat conduction, thermal convection, thermal radiation, melting and solidification during laser polishing. Results show that the uniformity of the distribution of surface peaks and valleys can improve the molten flow stability and obtain better smoothing effect. The high cooling rate of the molten pool resulting in a shortening of the molten lifetime, which prevents the peaks from being removed by capillary and thermocapillary forces. It is revealed that the mechanism of secondary roughness formation on polished surface. Moreover, the double spiral nest Marangoni convection extrudes the molten to the outsides. It results in the formation of expansion and depression, corresponding to nearby the starting position and at the edges of the polished surface. It is further found that the difference between the simulation and experimental depression depths is only about 2 μm. Correspondingly, the errors are approximately 8.3%, 14.3% and 13.3%, corresponding to Models 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) is an advanced stage of prostate cancer that can progress rapidly even in patients treated with castration. Previously, we found that tumor-associated macrophages (TAM) can be recruited by CSF-1 secreted by docetaxel-treated prostate cancer cells and promote the survival of cancer cells in response to chemotherapy. The inhibition of CSF-1R can impede this effect and significantly prolong survival in xenograft mice. However, the actual mechanism of how TAM improves cancer cell survival still remains elusive and controversial. Here, for the first time, we found that the enhanced survival of cancer cells achieved by TAM was mainly mediated by CXCR4 activation from the increased secretion of CXCL12 from CSF-1 activated TAM. This finding helps to clarify the mechanism of chemoresistance for second-line chemotherapy using docetaxel, facilitating the development of novel drugs to overcome immune tolerance in castration-resistant prostate cancer. Ferulic acid (FA) is a naturally-occurring well-known potent antioxidant and free radical scavenger. FA supplementation is an effective strategy to delay aging, but the underlying mechanism remains unknown. In the present study, we examined the effects of FA on lifespan extension and its mechanism of FA in Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans). Results suggested that FA increased the lifespan of C. elegans, rather than altering the growth of E. coli OP50. Meanwhile, FA promoted the healthspan of C. elegans by improving locomotion and reducing fat accumulation and polyQ aggregation. FA increased the resistance to heat and oxidative stress through reducing ROS. The upregulating of the expression of the hlh-30, skn-1, and hsf-1 were involved in the FA-mediated lifespan extension. Furthermore, FA treatment had no impact on the lifespan of daf-2, hlh-30, skn-1, and hsf-1 mutants, confirming that insulin/IGF-1 signaling pathway and multiple longevity mechanisms were associated with the longevity mechanism of FA. We further found that mitochondrial signaling pathway was modulation involved in FA-mediated lifespan extension. With the results from RNA-seq results and mutants lifespan assay. As a novel polishing technology, polishing by laser beam radiation can be used to improve the sample surface finish without causing material losses. In order to study the effect of laser polishing on the surface morphology of S136D die steel, an L16(44) orthogonal experiment was designed to describe the variation trend of surface roughness with energy density. The two-dimensional transient model of laser polishing was established to simulate the evolution process of material surface morphology during laser polishing by combining numerical simulation with the experiment. The model uses a moving laser heat source to study the effects of capillary pressure and thermocapillary pressure in the laser polishing process. The experimental results show that the minimum roughness can be reduced to 0.764 μm, and the error between the actual molten pool depth and the simulated molten pool depth is 5.3%. With the increasing demand for clean and low-carbon energy, high proportion of renewable energy has been integrated into the receiving-end grid. The grid-side energy storage project can ensure the safe and stable operation of the grid, but it still faces many problems, such as high initial investment, difficult operation and maintenance, unclear profit model, lack of business mode. Therefore, it is of great significance to evaluate the comprehensive benefit of energy storage projects in order to guide the sustainable development of large-scale energy storage projects and power system. By studying the technical and economic characteristics of energy storage, this paper establishes a comprehensive evaluation system from four dimensions of energy efficiency, economic, social, and environmental benefit. Combined with typical business modes and determining the subdivision index system of different modes, the comprehensive benefit evaluation model of grid-side commercial storage project based on Fuzzy-Analytic Network Process (ANP) approach is established. Ultralight sandwich constructions with corrugated channel cores (i.e., periodic fluid-through wavy passages) are envisioned to possess multifunctional attributes: simultaneous load-carrying and heat dissipation via active cooling. Titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) corrugated-channel-cored sandwich panels (3CSPs) with thin face sheets and core webs were fabricated via the technique of selective laser melting (SLM) for enhanced shear resistance relative to other fabrication processes such as vacuum brazing. Four-point bending responses of as-fabricated 3CSP specimens, including bending resistance and initial collapse modes, were experimentally measured. The bending characteristics of the 3CSP structure were further explored using a combined approach of analytical modeling and numerical simulation based on the method of finite elements (FE). Both the analytical and numerical predictions were validated against experimental measurements. Collapse mechanism maps of the 3CSP structure were subsequently constructed using the analytical model, with four collapse modes considered (face-sheet yielding, face-sheet buckling, core yielding, and core buckling), which were used to evaluate how its structural geometry affects its collapse initiation mode. Stable and reliable integrated energy systems are one of the major issues related to sustainable regional and national energy development. Because most existing studies are conducted on whole countries, few address the effects of regional interaction and renewable energy. Therefore, a natural disaster risk assessment model (NDRAM) combined with spatial models is used as a general systematic tool to assess and resolve regional energy security, based on a framework of resources, generation, transmission, marketing and consumption, with 17 metrics. In particular, energy systems were treated as organic connected-units and their security status was regarded as a combined result of potential hazard and system vulnerability. The proposed method was applied to evaluate and classify the security situation of 31 Chinese provinces in 2016. The results showed that transmission had the most significant impact among five major risk sources. The closer grid connections have a stronger ability to deal with risks among regions, where renewables consumption could be better stimulated cross-regionally. In terms of a regional perspective, there is still a gap among different regions, and eastern China presented higher energy risk status. The most energy-hazard provinces are mainly in the east provinces with well-developed levels in Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai. The least energy-vulnerable provinces are mainly in the abundant natural resources regions such as Inner Mongolia, Sichuan and Xinjiang. The NDRAM-based general model provides a systematic tool for quantitative assessment of regional energy security with a full accounting of regional interaction and renewable energy issues, which may help to develop clean energy, optimize system infrastructure and improve scientific management. Autophagy, a conserved process in which cells break down and destroy old, damaged, or abnormal proteins and other substances in the cytoplasm through lysosomal degradation, occurs via autophagosome formation and aids in the maintenance of intracellular homeostasis. Autophagy is closely associated with hepatitis B virus (HBV) replication and assembly. Currently, HBV infection is still one of the most serious public health issues worldwide. The unavailability of satisfactory therapeutic strategies for chronic HBV infection indicates an urgent need to elucidate the mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of HBV infection. Increasing evidence has shown that HBV not only possesses the ability to induce incomplete autophagy but also evades autophagic degradation, indicating that HBV utilizes or hijacks the autophagy machinery for its own replication. Therefore, autophagy might be a crucial target pathway for controlling HBV infection. The definite molecular mechanisms underlying the association between cellular autophagy and HBV replication require further clarification. In this paper, noise removing of the well test data is considered. We use the Legendre expansion to approximate well test data and a truncated strategy has been employed to reduce noise. The parameter of the truncation will be chosen by a discrepancy principle and a corresponding convergence result has been obtained. The theoretical analysis shows that a well numerical approximation can be obtained by the new method. Moreover, we can directly obtain the stable numerical derivatives of the pressure data in this method. Finally, we give some numerical tests to show the effectiveness of the method. In this paper, we further extend the Filon-type method to the Bessel function expansion for calculating Fourier integral. By means of complex analysis, this expansion is effective for all the oscillation frequencies. Namely, the errors of the expansion not only decrease as the order of the derivative increases, but also decrease rapidly as the frequency increases. One of the challenges regarding widespread use of parts made from alloy steel is their time-consuming polishing process. A rough freeform surface of part has been often expected to be polished rapidly up to a smooth surface finish. The focus of this study is to develop a fast polishing method of freeform surface by using dual-beam lasers. The dual-beam laser system consists of continuous laser (CW) and pulsed laser based on a five-axis CNC device. In this study, a series of experiments of CW laser polishing present the effects of different spot irradiation on surface topography, then the combination trajectory of zigzag and square waveform of pulsed laser is explored to realize a "melting peak for filling into valley" (MPFV) method. The polishing experiment on a semisphere of S136H steel polished by dual-beam shows that a rough semisphere surface was rapidly polished from initial state value of Sa (=877 nm) to post-polished value of Sa (=142 nm), and the polishing efficiency is as high as 2890 cm2/H. In this study, we reported on a novel mimetic peroxidase, deuterohemin–Ala–His–Glu, (Dh–A–H–E). The kinetic parameters of Dh–A–H–E suggested that it was a mimetic peroxidase and followed the ping–pong mechanism. Compared to horseradish peroxidase, Dh–A–H–E exhibited excellent stability when tested at different pH and temperatures, and using different organic solvents. Preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2 and its variants is crucial in the fight against COVID-19. Inhibition of the main protease (M pro ) of SARS-CoV-2 is the key to disrupting viral replication, making M pro a promising target for therapy. PF-07321332 and shikonin have been identified as effective broad-spectrum inhibitors of SARS-CoV-2 M pro . The crystal structures of SARS-CoV-2 M pro bound to PF-07321332 and shikonin have been resolved in previous studies. However, the exact mechanism regarding how SARS-CoV-2 M pro mutants impact their binding modes largely remains to be investigated. In this study, we expressed a SARS-CoV-2 M pro mutant, carrying the D48N substitution, representing a class of mutations located near the active sites of M pro . The crystal structures of M pro D48N in complex with PF-07321332 and shikonin were solved. A detailed analysis of the interactions between M pro D48N and two inhibitors provides key insights into the binding pattern and its structural determinants. Further, the binding patterns of the two inhibitors to M pro D48N mutant and wild-type M pro were compared in detail. This study illustrates the possible conformational changes when the M pro D48N mutant is bound to inhibitors. Structural insights derived from this study will inform the development of new drugs against novel coronaviruses.

Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi (Lamiaceae) is the source of the well-known traditional Chinese medicine "HuangQin" ( Radix Scutellariae ). Natural sources of S. baicalensis are rapidly declining due to high market demand and overexploitation. Moreover, the commercial products of Radix Scutellariae have often been found to contain adulterants in recent years, which may give rise to issues regarding drug efficacy and safety. In this study, we developed valuable chloroplast molecular resources by comparing intraspecific and interspecific chloroplast genome. The S. baicalensis chloroplast genome is a circular molecule consisting of two single-copy regions separated by a pair of inverted repeats. Comparative analyses of three Scutellaria chloroplast genomes revealed six variable regions ( trnH-psbA , trnK-rps16 , petN-psbM , trnT-trnL , petA-psbJ , and ycf1 ) that could be used as DNA barcodes. There were 25 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) and 29 indels between the two S. baicalensis genotypes. All of the indels occurred within non-coding regions. Phylogenetic analysis suggested that Scutellarioideae is a sister taxon to Lamioideae. These resources could be used to explore the variation present in Scutellaria populations and for further evolutionary, phylogenetic, barcoding and genetic engineering studies, in addition to effective exploration and conservation of S. baicalensis ., Competing Interests: The authors declare no commercial or financial conflict of interest.
