Reliable and accurate wind-speed forecasts significantly impact the efficiency of wind power utilization and the safety of power systems. In addressing the performance enhancement of transformer models in short-term wind-speed forecasting, a multi-step prediction model based on variational mode decomposition (VMD), temporal convolutional network (TCN), and a transformer is proposed. Initially, the Dung Beetle Optimizer (DBO) is utilized to optimize VMD for decomposing non-stationary wind-speed series data. Subsequently, the TCN is used to extract features from the input sequences. Finally, the processed data are fed into the transformer model for prediction. The effectiveness of this model is validated by comparison with six other prediction models across three datasets, demonstrating its superior accuracy in short-term wind-speed forecasting. Experimental findings from three distinct datasets reveal that the developed model achieves an average improvement of 52.1% for R2. To the best of our knowledge, this places our model at the leading edge of wind-speed prediction for 8 h and 12 h forecasts, demonstrating MSEs of 1.003 and 0.895, MAEs of 0.754 and 0.665, and RMSEs of 1.001 and 0.946, respectively. The segmentation and localization of Agaricus bisporus is a precondition for its automatic harvesting. A. bisporus growth clusters can present challenges for precise localization and segmentation because of adhesion and overlapping. A low-cost image stitching system is presented in this research, utilizing a quick stitching method with disparity correction to produce high-precision panoramic dual-modal fusion images. An enhanced technique called Real-Time Models for Object Detection and Instance Segmentation (RTMDet-Ins) is suggested. This approach utilizes SimAM Attention Module's (SimAM) global attention mechanism and the lightweight feature fusion module Space-to-depth Progressive Asymmetric Feature Pyramid Network (SPD-PAFPN) to improve the detection capabilities for hidden A. bisporus. It efficiently deals with challenges related to intricate segmentation and inaccurate localization in complex obstacles and adhesion scenarios. The technology has been verified by 96 data sets collected on a self-designed fully automatic harvesting robot platform. Statistical analysis shows that the worldwide stitching error is below 2 mm in the area of 1200 mm × 400 mm. The segmentation method demonstrates an overall precision of 98.64%. The planar mean positioning error is merely 0.31%. Soft sensors have been extensively utilized to approximate real-time power prediction in wind power generation, which is challenging to measure instantaneously. The short-term forecast of wind power aims at providing a reference for the dispatch of the intraday power grid. This study proposes a soft sensor model based on the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network by combining data preprocessing with Variational Modal Decomposition (VMD) to improve wind power prediction accuracy. It does so by adopting the isolation forest algorithm for anomaly detection of the original wind power series and processing the missing data by multiple imputation. Based on the process data samples, VMD technology is used to achieve power data decomposition and noise reduction. The LSTM network is introduced to predict each modal component separately, and further sum reconstructs the prediction results of each component to complete the wind power prediction. From the experimental results, it can be seen that the LSTM network which uses an Adam optimizing algorithm has better convergence accuracy. The VMD method exhibited superior decomposition outcomes due to its inherent Wiener filter capabilities, which effectively mitigate noise and forestall modal aliasing. Fringe projection profilometry (FPP), with benefits such as high precision and a large depth of field, is a popular 3D optical measurement method widely used in precision reconstruction scenarios. However, the pixel brightness at reflective edges does not satisfy the conditions of the ideal pixel-wise phase-shifting model due to the influence of scene texture and system defocus, resulting in severe phase errors. To address this problem, we theoretically analyze the non-pixel-wise phase propagation model for texture edges and propose a reprojection strategy based on scene texture modulation. The strategy first obtains the reprojection weight mask by projecting typical FPP patterns and calculating the scene texture reflection ratio, then reprojects stripe patterns modulated by the weight mask to eliminate texture edge effects, and finally fuses coarse and refined phase maps to generate an accurate phase map. We validated the proposed method on various texture scenes, including a smooth plane, depth surface, and curved surface. Experimental results show that the root mean square error (RMSE) of the phase at the texture edge decreased by 53.32%, proving the effectiveness of the reprojection strategy in eliminating depth errors at texture edges. With the implementation of the green development strategy and the "double carbon goal", as an important energy for sustainable development, wind power has been widely researched and vigorously developed across the world. Wind speed prediction has a major impact on the grid dispatching of wind power connection. Most current studies only focus on the deterministic prediction of wind speed. However, the traditional deterministic forecast only provides the single wind speed prediction results and cannot meet the diverse demands of dispatchers. To bridge the gap, a wind speed point-interval forecasting method is proposed that utilizes empirical wavelet transform, an improved wild horse optimization algorithm, a multi-predictor, and improved kernel density estimation. This method decomposes the wind speed sequence into stationary subsequences through empirical wavelet transform, and then optimizes three basic learners with completely different learning mechanisms to form an ensemble model using the modified wild horse optimization algorithm. Finally, the uncertainty is analysed using an improved kernel density estimation. The datasets of three sites from America's national renewable energy laboratory are used for comparison experiments with other models, and the predictions are discussed from different angles. The simulation results demonstrate that the model can produce high-precision deterministic results and high-quality probabilistic results. In this paper, a control strategy based on the inverse system decoupling method and μ-synthesis is proposed to control vibration in a rigid rotor system with active magnetic bearings that are built into high-speed motors. First, the decoupling method is used to decouple the four-degrees-of-freedom state equation of the electromagnetic bearing rigid rotor system; the strongly coupled and nonlinear rotor system is thus decoupled into four independent subsystems, and the eigenvalues of the subsystems are then configured. The uncertain parametric perturbation method is used to model the subsystem, and the multi-objective ant colony algorithm is then used to optimize the sensitivity function and the pole positions to obtain the optimal μ-controller. The closed-loop system thus has the fastest possible response, the strongest internal stability, and the best disturbance rejection capability. Then, the unbalanced force compensation algorithm is used to compensate for the high-frequency eccentric vibration; this algorithm can attenuate the unbalanced eccentric vibration of the rotor to the greatest extent and improve the robust stability of the rotor system. Finally, simulations and experiments show that the proposed control strategy can allow the rotor to be suspended stably and suppress its low-frequency and high-frequency vibrations effectively, providing excellent internal and external stability. The detection of poultry egg microcracks based on electrical characteristic models is a new and effective method. However, due to the disorder, mutation, nonlinear, time discontinuity, and other factors of the current data, detection algorithms such as support-vector machines (SVM) and random forest (RF) under traditional statistical characteristics cannot identify subtle defects. The detection system voltage is set to 1500 V in the existing method, and higher voltages may cause damage to the hatched eggs; therefore, how to reduce the voltage is also a focus of research. In this paper, to address the problem of the low signal-to-noise ratio of microcracks in current signals, a wavelet scattering transform capable of extracting translation-invariant and small deformation-stable features is proposed to extract multi-scale high-frequency feature vectors. In view of the time series and low feature scale of current signals, various convolutional networks, such as a one-dimensional convolutional neural network (1DCNN), long short-term memory (LSTM), bi-directional long short-term memory (Bi-LSTM), and gated recurrent unit (GRU) are adopted. The detection algorithm of the wavelet scattering convolutional network is implemented for electrical sensing signals. The experimental results show that compared with previous works, the accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and Matthews correlation coefficient of the proposed wavelet scattering convolutional network on microcrack datasets smaller than 3 μ m at a voltage of 1000 V are 99.4393%, 99.2523%, 99.6226%, 99.4357%, and 98.8819%, respectively, with an average increase of 2.0561%. In addition, the promotability and validity of the proposed detection algorithm were verified on a class-imbalanced dataset and a duck egg dataset. Based on the good results of the above experiments, further experiments were conducted with different voltages. The new feature extraction and detection method reduces the sensing voltage from 1500 V to 500 V, which allows for achieving higher detection accuracy with a lower signal-to-noise ratio, significantly reducing the risk of high voltage damage to hatching eggs and meeting the requirements for crack detection. The eggshell is the major source of protection for the inside of poultry eggs from microbial contamination. Timely detection of cracked eggs is the key to improving the edible rate of fresh eggs, hatching rate of breeding eggs and the quality of egg products. Different from traditional detection based on acoustics and vision, this paper proposes a nondestructive method of detection for eggshell cracks based on the egg electrical characteristics model, which combines static and dynamic electrical characteristics and designs a multi-layer flexible electrode that can closely fit the eggshell surface and a rotating mechanism that takes into account different sizes of eggs. The current signals of intact eggs and cracked eggs were collected under 1500 V of DC voltage, and their time domain features (TFs), frequency domain features (FFs) and wavelet features (WFs) were extracted. Machine learning algorithms such as support vector machine (SVM), linear discriminant analysis (LDA), decision tree (DT) and random forest (RF) were used for classification. The relationship between various features and classification algorithms was studied, and the effectiveness of the proposed method was verified. Finally, the method is proven to be universal and generalizable through an experiment on duck eggshell microcrack detection. The experimental results show that the proposed method can realize the detection of eggshell microcracks of less than 3 μm well, and the random forest model combining the three features mentioned above is proven to be the best, with a detection accuracy of cracked eggs and intact eggs over 99%. Arrhythmia is a significant cause of death, and it is essential to analyze the electrocardiogram (ECG) signals as this is usually used to diagnose arrhythmia. However, the traditional time series classification methods based on ECG ignore the nonlinearity, temporality, or other characteristics inside these signals. This paper proposes an electrocardiogram classification method that encodes one-dimensional ECG signals into the three-channel images, named ECG classification based on Mix Time-series Imaging (EC-MTSI). Specifically, this hybrid transformation method combines Gramian angular field (GAF), recurrent plot (RP), and tiling, preserving the original ECG time series' time dependence and correlation. We use a variety of neural networks to extract features and perform feature fusion and classification. This retains sufficient details while emphasizing local information. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the EC-MTSI, we conduct abundant experiments in a commonly-used dataset. In our experiments, the general accuracy reached 93.23%, and the accuracy of identifying high-risk arrhythmias of ventricular beats and supraventricular beats alone are as high as 97.4% and 96.3%, respectively. Travel time data is an important factor for evaluating the performance of a public transport system. In terms of time and space within the nature of uncertainty, bus travel time is dynamic and flexible. Since the change of traffic status is periodic, contagious or even sudden, the changing mechanism of that is a hidden mode. Therefore, bus travel time prediction is a challenging problem in intelligent transportation system (ITS). Allowing for a large amount of traffic data can be collected at present but lack of precisely-conducting, it is still worth exploring how to extract feature sets that can accurately predict bus travel time from these data. Hence, a feature extraction framework based on the deep learning models were developed to reflect the state of bus travel time. First, the study introduced different historical stages of bus signaling time, taxi speed, the stop identity (ID) of spatial characteristics, and real-time possible arrival time, signified by fourteen spatiotemporal characteristic values. Then, an embedding network is proposed to leverage a wide and deep structure to mate the spatial and temporal data. In order to meet the temporal dependence requirements, an attention mechanism for a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) was designed in this research in order to capture the temporal information. Finally, a Deep Neural Networks (DNN) was implemented in this research in order to achieve the dynamic bus travel time prediction. Two case studies of Guangzhou and Shenzhen were tested. The results showed that the performance of the algorithm was more efficient than that of the traditional machine-learning model and promoted by 4.82% compared to the deep neural network applied to the initial feature space. Moreover, the study visualized the weighted cost of attention on the bus's travel time features during a certain running state.
