The objective of this study was to investigate the attitude of Physical Therapy Students towards Post-graduation studies. A cross sectional survey was administrated in 4th year and final year. Undergraduate physical therapy students from different institutes of Pakistan. Opinion from Participants was taken regarding the motives and barriers in pursuing higher studies in physical Therapy. For this purpose, a well-structured questionnaire was used to investigate latest trends in pursuing higher studies in physical therapy. We have found that most of the participants were females and belong to the University of Sargodha. Tuition fee and academic program were the prime factors that participants preferred while choosing University for higher education. Lucrative career and availability of research opportunities were principal motives while inadequate financial aid and social issues were a barrier. Most of the students wanted to obtain higher education in Musculoskeletal PT and neurological PT. We concluded that post-graduation in PT is acquired to gain professional enhancement and better status in society. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
