In this present paper, we define a new operator in conjugation with the basic (or q-) calculus. We then make use of this newly defined operator and define a new class of analytic and bi-univalent functions associated with the q-derivative operator. Furthermore, we find the initial Taylor–Maclaurin coefficients for these newly defined function classes of analytic and bi-univalent functions. We also show that these bounds are sharp. The sharp second Hankel determinant is also given for this newly defined function class.

By utilizing the concept of the q-fractional derivative operator and bi-close-to-convex functions, we define a new subclass of A, where the class A contains normalized analytic functions in the open unit disk E and is invariant or symmetric under rotation. First, using the Faber polynomial expansion (FPE) technique, we determine the lth coefficient bound for the functions contained within this class. We provide a further explanation for the first few coefficients of bi-close-to-convex functions defined by the q-fractional derivative. We also emphasize upon a few well-known outcomes of the major findings in this article.

In this paper, we define a subclass of starlike functions associated with the Van der Pol numbers. For this class, we derive structural formula, radius of starlikeness of order α, strong starlikeness, and some inclusion results. We also study radii problems for various classes of analytic functions. Furthermore, we investigate some coefficient-related problems which include the sharp initial coefficient bounds and sharp bounds on Hankel determinants of order two and three.

Motivated by the recent work on the symmetric domains, this article investigates certain features of symmetric domain which are caused by the secant hyperbolic functions. Geometric characteristics of analytic functions associated with secant hyperbolic functions are discussed, which include the inclusion results, structural formula, certain sharp radii results such as radius of starlikeness and convexity of order α. It also finds a radius for ratios of analytic functions associated with Euler numbers.

This paper introduces a new fractional operator by using the concepts of fractional q-calculus and q-Mittag-Leffler functions. With this fractional operator, Janowski functions are generalized and studied regarding their certain geometric characteristics. It also establishes the solution of the complex Briot–Bouquet differential equation by using the newly defined operator.

Order-picking process management is one of the most demanding tasks within the operations of a warehouse system. It is especially evident in companies that have a high intensity of product flows, so the question of increasing the productivity of order picking arises. In this paper, a novel integrated fuzzy MCDM (Multicriteria Decision-Making) model was developed for the evaluation and selection of information technologies for order picking in a warehouse system, which is one of the most important novelties and contributions of the paper. Barcode, pick-to-light, pick-to-voice, and pick-to-vision technologies were evaluated based on IMF SWARA (improved fuzzy stepwise weight assessment ratio analysis) and fuzzy EDAS (evaluation based on distance from average solution) based on Z numbers. IMF SWARA-Z was applied to determine the importance of four criteria while the information technologies for order picking were evaluated with the fuzzy EDAS-Z method. The averaging of the estimates of the critera and alternatives was performed using the fuzzy Dombi aggregator. The results show that in this particular case under these research conditions, pick-to-vision is the best order-picking technology. Subsequently, validation tests were carried out, and they included the simulation of criteria weights and the impact of the reverse rank matrix.

A complex fuzzy set (CFS) is described by a complex-valued truth membership function, which is a combination of a standard true membership function plus a phase term. In this paper, we extend the idea of a fuzzy graph (FG) to a complex fuzzy graph (CFG). The CFS complexity arises from the variety of values that its membership function can attain. In contrast to a standard fuzzy membership function, its range is expanded to the complex plane’s unit circle rather than [0,1]. As a result, the CFS provides a mathematical structure for representing membership in a set in terms of complex numbers. In recent times, a mathematical technique has been a popular way to combine several features. Using the preceding mathematical technique, we introduce strong approaches that are properties of CFG. We define the order and size of CFG. We discuss the degree of vertex and the total degree of vertex of CFG. We describe basic operations, including union, join, and the complement of CFG. We show new maximal product and symmetric difference operations on CFG, along with examples and theorems that go along with them. Lastly, at the base of a complex fuzzy graph, we show the application that would be important for measuring the symmetry or asymmetry of acquaintanceship levels of social disease: COVID-19.

Fuzzy graphs (FGs) can play a useful role in natural and human-made structures, including process dynamics in physical, biological, and social systems. Since issues in everyday life are often uncertain due to inconsistent and ambiguous information, it is extremely difficult for an expert to model those difficulties using an FG. Indeterminate and inconsistent information related to real-valued problems can be studied through a picture of the fuzzy graph (PFG), while the FG does not provide mathematically acceptable information. In this regard, we are interested in reducing the limitations of FGs by introducing some new definitions and results for the PFG. This paper aims to describe and explore a few properties of PFGs, including the maximal product (MP), symmetric difference (SD), rejection (RJ), and residue product (RP). Furthermore, we also discuss the degree and total degree of nodes in a PFG. This study also demonstrates the application of a PFG in digital marketing and social networking.

Herein, an efficient algorithm is proposed to solve a one-dimensional hyperbolic partial differential equation. To reach an approximate solution, we employ the &theta, weighted scheme to discretize the time interval into a finite number of time steps. In each step, we have a linear ordinary differential equation. Applying the Galerkin method based on interpolating scaling functions, we can solve this ODE. Therefore, in each time step, the solution can be found as a continuous function. Stability, consistency, and convergence of the proposed method are investigated. Several numerical examples are devoted to show the accuracy and efficiency of the method and guarantee the validity of the stability, consistency, and convergence analysis.
