The final labeling rulings of EPA concerning ozone depleting substances (ODS), aid for small companies to eradicate ODS, the aqueous and semi-aqueous substances as probable alternatives, cleaning equipments and processes, are discussed. Labelling of products manufactured before May 15, 1993 using ODS should be labelled properly. Smaller companies that do not have the capability and resources to eliminate ODS are endorsed to trade associations and suppliers for assistance., At IMTS '92, DuPont took a survey of attendees to gage their knowledge of the then-proposed labeling requirement for products or components made with, cleaned by, or containing ozone depleting [...]
