Abstract

The article reports on the plan of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to make a change to the way it assesses scientific work. The change would restrict the research available to the agency when writing environmental regulations. According to EPA administrator Scott Pruitt, the release of raw data would let other scientists and industry groups test the findings more thoroughly.
