This article focuses on results of a study commissioned by the National Association of Software and Service Companies that found that only one in four engineering graduates in India were employable. Most were deficient in technical skills, English fluency, oral presentation skills or teamwork ability. The skills gap reflects the limited availability of high-quality college education. The university systems of India are having trouble keeping up with the demand for technology services.
