The article describes the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (Kasotc), an international counterterrorism training facility in Jordan. Particular focus is given to the 2013 annual Warrior Competition, in which elite military teams from 17 countries participate in simulated missions such as raids, hostage rescues, and target shooting. Kasotc was developed with funding by the U.S. Department of Defense and managed by Jordan;s military and U.S. military contractor ViaGlobal Group.
