Abstract

The article presents a study that discusses research on gene expression when soybean interacts with soybean cyst nematode (SCN). It mentions that SCN is the major pest that affect soybean. It discusses the application of this information to identify genes involved in soybean and SCN involved in resistance and susceptibility. It concludes that soybean and SCN interactions were revealed using genome sequencing and development of microarrays with soybean and SCN genes.
