The article discusses the case of a 34-year-old soldier who presented with gunshot wound (GSW) to his left thorax. It was stated that the presence of tracheal deviation in the patient indicates a left lung pneumothorax, as shown by the scout computed tomography (CT). It cites several approaches taken by medical professionals that led to the prompt diagnosis of hemothorax in the patient including thoracic CT, resultant MultiPlanar Reformation (MPR) and trajectory analysis.
