Abstract

A novel class of phthalocyanines substituted with azo group moieties on the periphery of phthalocyanine ring was synthesized, and they show obvious, broad uncommon absorption band in the visible region compared to those normal phthalocyanines. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
