Abstract

The article offers information on approval of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for 10 pesticide products for hemp in time for the 2020 growing season and proposed an interim decision on atrazine. Topics include need to ensure that crops such as corn, sorghum, sugar cane and hemp can be protected against a broad spectrum of weeds and pests; approval of biopesticides for use in hemp cultivation; and reduction to the maximum application rate for atrazine used on residential turf.
