4. Impacto da orientação proativa e reativa no mercado sobre o sucesso da inovação. O papel moderador da orientação na aprendizagem

Desde la perspectiva teórica propuesta por Narver etal. (2004), este artículo analiza el efecto de la orientación al mercado reactiva y proactiva sobre el éxito de la innovación y la moderación de la orientación al aprendizaje con fuentes internas y de mercado. Utilizando regresión lineal, se encuentra que la orientación al mercado reactiva tiene un efecto lineal positivo sobre el éxito de la innovación, mientras la proactiva tiene un efecto de U invertida, moderado por la orientación al aprendizaje de mercado. El texto demuestra que el efecto de cada tipo de orientación depende del tipo aprendizaje. Y se concluye que las empresas mejorarán su éxito de la innovación combinando adecuadamente su orientación al mercado con el tipo de aprendizaje utilizado. From the theoretical perspective of market orientation proposed by Narver et al. (2004), this paper analyzes its relationship with innovation success and the moderating role of market and internally focused learning orientation. By ordinary least squares estimation of linear regression function it was found that reactive market orientation has a positive linear effect on innovation success. Meanwhile, proactive market orientation has an inverted U shaped effect that is moderated by market focused learning orientation. The paper demonstrates that each orientation type effects depend on the learning process type. It therefore follows that the enterprise's innovation success would have better results when combining an adequate market orientation and the learning process type applied. Sob a perspectiva teórica proposta por Narver et al. (2004), analisa-se o efeito da orientação proativa e reativa no mercado sobre o sucesso da inovação e a moderação da orientação na aprendizagem com fontes internas e de mercado. Utilizando regressão linear, constata-se que a orientação reativa no mercado tem um efeito linear positivo sobre o sucesso da inovação, enquanto a proativa tem um efeito de U invertido, moderado pela orientação na aprendizagem de mercado. Este texto demonstra que o efeito de cada tipo de orientação depende do tipo de aprendizagem. Conclui-se que as empresas melhorarao seus resultados de inovação ao combinarem adequadamente sua orientação no mercado com o tipo de aprendizagem utilizada.

The theoretical transition being apparent in the analysis of internal competitive advantage sources is being dealt with in this paper. A theoretical approach is being applied which is focused on those processes allowing companies to upkeep and enhance their competitiveness, become adapted to changes, and become able to foresee changes in the market. This survey shows the eclectic nature of dynamic capacities bringing in dynamic elements into static-nature theories, and further addresses the biases being apparent in these two approaches both in the theoretical setting and in the managerial practice. This survey also looks into the generation, development and change processes pertaining with operational resources Dynamic capabilities help generate higher income and maximise innovation and strategic development. Este artículo ilustra la transición teórica en el análisis de las fuentes internas de ventaja competitiva. Se emplea un enfoque teórico centrado en los procesos que hacen posible que las empresas mantengan y mejoren su competitividad, se adapten a los cambios y anticipen cambios en los mercados. Este trabajo muestra la naturaleza ecléctica de las capacidades dinámicas, las cuales introducen elementos dinámicos en teorías de carácter estático y corrigen los sesgos de esos dos enfoques a nivel teórico y en la praxis gerencial. El análisis se ocupa de los procesos de generación, desarrollo y modificación de los recursos operacionales. Las capacidades dinámicas ayudan a generar ingresos más altos y a potencializar la innovación y el desarrollo estratégico. Neste artigo, ilustra-se a transição teórica na análise das fontes internas de vantagem competitiva. Emprega-se um enfoque teórico centrado nos processos que fazem possível que as empresas mantenham e melhorem sua competitividade, adaptem-se às mudanças e antecipem mudanças nos mercados. Neste trabalho, mostra-se a natureza eclética das capacidades dinâmicas, as quais introduzem elementos dinâmicos em teorias de caráter estático e corrigem os vieses desses enfoques no âmbito teórico e na práxis gerencial. A análise se ocupa dos processos de geração, desenvolvimento e modificação dos recursos operacionais. As capacidades dinâmicas ajudam a gerar ingressos mais altos e a potencializar a inovação e o desenvolvimento estratégico.

8. El impacto del aprendizaje en el rendimiento de las organizaciones

La relación entre el aprendizaje organizacional y el desempeño ha sido documentada teóricamente, pero se requiere mayor investigación empírica para contrastar posibles asociaciones entre estas variables. Esto motivó la realización del presente artículo, que partió del supuesto teórico de que el aprendizaje organizacional es una capacidad dinámica explicada desde la teoría de recursos y capacidades, y que asumió el desempeño organizacional como un constructo social medido a partir de las percepciones del rendimiento. El contraste empírico se efectuó en 45 empresas medianas y gran-des, con un diseño cuantitativo de tipo explicativo, para lo cual se emplearon métodos multivariados como los análisis de varianza (Anova), de clústeres y de componentes principales. Los resultados arrojaron evidencia que permite aceptar la hipótesis de que la capacidad de aprendizaje influye en el desempeño de la organización. The relation between organizational learning and the organization’s performance has been theoretically documented but more empirical research is needed to contrast possible associations between these variables. That is what motivated this paper that starts out with the theoretical assumption that organizational learning is a dynamic capability as explained in the theory of resources and capabilities that assumes that an organization’s performance is a social construct measured by yield perceptions. Empirical contrasting was done in 45 middle-sized and large companies, using an explanatory-type quantitative design. Multivariate methods were used, such as variance analysis (Anova), cluster analysis, and main component analysis. The results gave evidence that enable accepting the hypothesis that the learning capability influences the organization’s performance.
