The layout, scale and spatial form of urban employment centers are important guidelines for the rational layout of public service facilities such as urban transportation, medical care, and education. In this paper, we use Internet cell phone positioning data to identify the workplace and residence of users in the Beijing city area and obtain commuting data of the employed to measure the employment center system in Beijing. Firstly, the employment density distribution is generated using the data of the working places of the employed persons, and the employment centers are identified based on the employment density of Beijing. Then, we use the business registration data of employment centers to measure the industrial diversity within the employment centers by using the ecological Shannon Wiener Diversity Index, and combine the commuting links between employment centers and places of residence to measure the energy level of each employment center, analyze the hinterland and sphere of influence of each center, and finally using the industrial diversity index of employment centers and the average commuting time of employed persons, combined with the K-Means clustering algorithm, to classify the employment centers in Beijing. The employment center identification and classification method based on big data constructed in this study can help solve the limitations of the previous employment center system research in terms of center identification and commuting linkage measurement due to large spatial units and lack of commuting data to a certain extent. The study can provide reference for the regular understanding and technical analysis of employment centers and provide help for the employment multi-center system in Beijing in terms of quantifying the employment spatial structure, guiding the construction of multi-center system, and adjusting the land use rules. In order to enhance market share and competitiveness, large banks are increasingly focusing on promoting marketing strategies. However, the traditional bank marketing strategy often leads to the homogenization of customer demand, making it challenging to distinguish among various products. To address this issue, this paper presents a customer demand learning model based on financial datasets and optimizes the distribution model of bank big data channels through induction to rectify the imbalance in bank customer transaction data. By comparing the prediction models of random forest model and support vector machine (SVM), this paper analyzes the ability of the prediction model based on ensemble learning to significantly enhance the market segmentation of e-commerce banks. The empirical results reveal that the accuracy of random forest model reaches 92%, while the accuracy of SVM model reaches 87%. This indicates that the ensemble learning model has higher accuracy and forecasting ability than the single model. It enables the bank marketing system to implement targeted marketing, effectively maintain the relationship between customers and banks, and significantly improve the success probability of product marketing. Meanwhile, the marketing model based on ensemble learning has achieved a sales growth rate of 20% and improved customer satisfaction by 30%. This demonstrates that the implementation of the ensemble learning model has also significantly elevated the overall marketing level of bank e-commerce services. Big data pertains to extensive and intricate compilations of information that necessitate the implementation of proficient and cost-effective evaluation and analysis tools to derive insights and support decision making. The Fermatean fuzzy set theory possesses remarkable capability in capturing imprecision due to its capacity to accommodate complex and ambiguous problem descriptions. This paper presents the study of the concepts of dynamic ordered weighted aggregation operators in the context of Fermatean fuzzy environment. In numerous practical decision making scenarios, the term "dynamic" frequently denotes the capability of obtaining decision-relevant data at various time intervals. In this study, we introduce two novel aggregation operators: Fermatean fuzzy dynamic ordered weighted averaging and geometric operators. We investigate the attributes of these operators in detail, offering a comprehensive description of their salient features. We present a step-by-step mathematical algorithm for decision making scenarios in the context of proposed methodologies. The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered a global public health crisis, affecting hundreds of countries. With the increasing number of infected cases, developing automated COVID-19 identification tools based on CT images can effectively assist clinical diagnosis and reduce the tedious workload of image interpretation. To expand the dataset for machine learning methods, it is necessary to aggregate cases from different medical systems to learn robust and generalizable models. This paper proposes a novel deep learning joint framework that can effectively handle heterogeneous datasets with distribution discrepancies for accurate COVID-19 identification. We address the cross-site domain shift by redesigning the COVID-Net's network architecture and learning strategy, and independent feature normalization in latent space to improve prediction accuracy and learning efficiency. Additionally, we propose using a contrastive training objective to enhance the domain invariance of semantic embeddings and boost classification performance on each dataset. We develop and evaluate our method with two large-scale public COVID-19 diagnosis datasets containing CT images. Since its first appearance as the infrastructure supporting Bitcoin, blockchain has received different waves of attention from practitioners and academics. Besides the degree of interest, the attention to blockchain has often focused not merely on its own potential and characteristics but on its applications field. However, looking at its application and deployment in domains other than cryptocurrency or the nascent non-fungible tokens (NFTs), blockchain technology does not seem to be widely adopted or is still in its early stages. Given this, we are interested in how managers and the general public are informed about new technology other than through academic papers or the specialized press. In this paper, we analyze how blockchain has been presented by speakers invited to give TED and TEDx Talks to identify the most common terms used to present blockchain in these talks using a multi-methods approach (qualitative analysis and big data analysis) and see if the discourse surrounding blockchain has shifted over time. The results of this study show how the different perspectives brought by broadcasters like TED often overshadow a technological innovation like the blockchain in its evolution and application by the fact that the focus is instead shifted to products and services built on it. Since 2020, the world has faced two unprecedented shocks: lockdowns (regulation) and the invasion of Ukraine (war). Although we realise the health and economic effects of these shocks, more research is needed on the effect on happiness and whether the type of shock plays a role. Therefore, in this paper, we determine whether these macro-level shocks affected happiness, how these effects differ, and how long it takes for happiness to adapt to previous levels. The latter will allow us to test whether adaptation theory holds at the macro level. We use a unique dataset of ten countries spanning the Northern and Southern hemispheres derived from tweets extracted in real-time per country. Applying Natural Language Processing, we obtain these tweets' underlying sentiment scores, after which we calculate a happiness score (Gross National Happiness) and derive daily time series data. Our Twitter dataset is combined with Oxford's COVID-19 Government Response Tracker data. Considering the results of the Difference-in-Differences and event studies jointly, we are confident that the shocks led to lower happiness levels, both with the lockdown and the invasion shock. We find that the effect size is significant and that the lockdown shock had a bigger effect than the invasion. Considering both types of shocks, the adaptation to previous happiness levels occurred within two to three weeks. Following our findings of similar behaviour in happiness to both types of shocks, the question of whether other types of shocks will have similar effects is posited. Regardless of the length of the adaptation period, understanding the effects of macro-level shocks on happiness is essential for policymakers, as happiness has a spillover effect on other variables such as production, safety and trust. This study explores the influencing factors on intelligent transformation and upgrading of China's logistics firms under smart logistics, and designs the corresponding framework to guide the practice of firms. By analyzing the characteristics of smart logistics and the transformation and upgrading needs of traditional logistics, from the micro perspective of logistics firms, this paper constructs influencing factor index system of smart transformation and development from four dimensions: logistics technology innovation, logistics big data sharing, logistics management upgrading and logistics decision-making transformation. Logistics firms are divided into firms with medium scale and above and small and medium-sized firms according to their scale. Then EWIF-AHP model is proposed to measure the weight of index system and score the decision-making, so as to evaluate the impact of various influencing factors on transformation and development of logistics firms. The results show that, for logistics firms above medium scale, logistics technology innovation and logistics big data sharing have the most significant impact on transformation and development, followed by logistics management upgrading and logistics decision-making transformation. For small and medium-sized logistics firms, the biggest factor is the upgrading of logistics management, followed by the upgrading of logistics technology, which is almost as important as the influencing factors of the upgrading of logistics management, and followed by the sharing of logistics big data and the transformation of logistics decision-making. The massive amount of vehicle plate data generated by intelligent transportation systems is widely used in the field of urban transportation information system construction and has a high scientific research and application value. The adoption of big data platforms to properly preserve, process, and exploit these valuable data resources has become a hot research area in recent years. To address the problems of implementing complex multi-conditional comprehensive query functions and flexible data applications in the key–value database storage environment of a big data platform, this paper proposes a data access model based on the jump hash consistency algorithm. Algorithms such as data slice storage and multi-threaded sliding window parallel reading are used to realize evenly distributed storage and fast reading of massive time-series data on clustered data nodes. A comparative analysis of data distribution uniformity and retrieval efficiency shows that the model can effectively avoid generating the cluster hotspot problem, support comprehensive analysis queries with various complex conditions, and maintain high query efficiency by precisely positioning the data storage range and utilizing parallel scan reading. In the current era of big data, the exponential increase in the volume of social data has exerted a significant influence on the government and all sectors of society, with the opening of government data becoming an irresistible trend. In this paper, several regional central cities are selected as the representatives of municipal governments to analyze the characteristics and weaknesses of their data-opening policies from various perspectives including policy effectiveness, policy tools, and policy targets. This is of reference significance for the municipal governments of an individual country in the formulation of data opening policies. To be specific, with 2015–2021 as the timeline, based on the six regions of the country, the central cities of each region are selected as representatives of municipal cities, and the text coding of 85 data opening policies implemented in regional central cities are performed. On this basis, a "policy tool-policy targets-policy effectiveness" collaborative measurement model is constructed through the policy tool theory, and the co-evolution analysis of the relevant policies is conducted. The research results are as follows. Firstly, there is a positive correlation between the total policy effectiveness and its quantity, indicating that the number of data-opening policies plays a positive role to a certain extent. However, the average effectiveness shows no significant increase, indicating the inadequate specificity of each policy. Secondly, the degree of synergy between policy tools fluctuates periodically, indicating that the government is constantly trying new methods, with more importance attached to the synergy between government capacity cultivation and positive incentive tools. Thirdly, policy targets continue to show new connotations over time, and there has been new progress made in the coordination between the other three objectives driven by data opening. However, it is imperative to enhance the synergy between the objectives of building a smart city and improving the services related to livelihood. In innovation strategy, a type of Schumpeterian competitive strategy in business administration, "intra-individual diversity" has attracted attention as one factor for creating innovation. In this study, we redefine "framework for identifying researchers' areas of expertise" as "a framework for quantifying intra-individual diversity among researchers. Note that diversity here refers to authorship of articles in multiple research fields. The application of this framework then made it possible to visualize organizational diversity by accumulating the intra-individual diversity of researchers and to discuss the innovation strategy of the organization. The analysis in this study discusses how countries are promoting research on the topics of artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, which are at the core of Industry 4.0, from an innovation perspective. Note that Industry 4.0 is a technological framework that aims to "improve the efficiency of all social systems," "create new industries," and "increase intellectual productivity." For the analysis, we used 19-year bibliographic data (2000–2018) from the top 20 countries in terms of the number of papers in AI, big data, and IoT technologies. As the results, this study classified the styles of cross-disciplinary fusion into four patterns in AI and three patterns in big data. This study did not consider the results in IoT because of only small differences between countries. Furthermore, regional differences in the style of cross-disciplinary fusion were also observed, and the global innovation patterns in Industry 4.0 were classified into seven categories. In Europe and North America, the cross-disciplinary integration style was similar to that between the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, England, Italy, Canada, and France. Although the era of big data has brought convenience to daily life, it has also caused many problems. In the field of scenic tourism, it is increasingly difficult for people to choose the scenic spot that meets their needs from mass information. To provide high-quality services to users, a recommended tourism model is introduced in this paper. On the one hand, the tourism system utilises the users' historical interactions with different scenic spots to infer their short- and long-term favorites. Among them, the users' short-term demands are modelled through self-attention mechanism, and the proportion of short- and long-term favorites is calculated using the Euclidean distance. On the other hand, the system models the relationship between multiple scenic spots to strengthen the item relationship and further form the most relevant tourist recommendations. With the rapid development of technologies such as cloud computing and big data, various levels of government departments in the country have successively introduced digital subsidy policies to promote enterprises' digital transformation. However, the effectiveness of these policies and their ability to truly achieve policy objectives have become pressing concerns across society. Against this backdrop, this paper employs a moderated mediation effects model to empirically analyze the incentive effects of financial subsidies on the digital transformation of A-share listed manufacturing companies in the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets from 2013 to 2022. The research findings indicate a significant promotion effect of financial subsidies on the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises, especially demonstrating a notable incentive impact on the digital transformation of large enterprises, non-asset-intensive enterprises, technology-intensive enterprises, and non-labor-intensive enterprises. However, the incentive effect on the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), asset-intensive enterprises, non-technology-intensive enterprises, and labor-intensive enterprises is not significant. Notably, the expansion of financial subsidies positively influences the augmentation of R&D investment within manufacturing enterprises, subsequently providing indirect encouragement for their digital transformation. Additionally, the incorporation of the degree of marketization implies its potential to moderate both the direct and indirect impacts of financial subsidies on enterprise digital transformation. The study of population spatialization has provided important basic data for urban planning, development, environment and other issues. With the development of urbanization, urban residential buildings are getting higher and higher, and the difference between urban and rural population density is getting larger and larger. At present, most population spatial studies adopt the grid scale, and the population in buildings is evenly divided into various grids, which will lead to the neglect of the population distribution in vertical space, and the authenticity is not strong. In order to improve the accuracy of the population distribution, this paper studied the spatial distribution of population at the building scale, combined the digital surface model (DSM) and the digital elevation model (DEM) to calculate the floor of buildings, and proposed a new index based on the total floor area of residential buildings, called residential population index (RPI). RPI is directly related to the number of people a building can accommodate, so it can effectively estimate the population of both urban and rural areas even if the structure of urban and rural buildings is very different. In addition, this paper combined remote sensing monitoring data with geographic big data and adopted principal component regression (PCR) method to construct RPI prediction model to obtain building-scale population distribution data of Qingdao in 2018, providing ideas for population spatialization research. Through field sampling survey and overall assessment, the results were basically consistent with the actual residential situation. The average error with field survey samples is 14.5%. The R2 is 0.643 and the urbanization rate is 69.7%, which are all higher than WorldPop data set. Therefore, this method can reflect the specific distribution of urban resident population, enhance the heterogeneity and complexity of population distribution, and the estimated results have important reference significance for urban management, urban resource allocation, environmental protection and other fields. This study focuses on the load balancing of the transactions in the blockchain. The problem is how to assign these transactions to the blocks. The objective is to guarantee a load balancing of the workload in the time of blocks. The proposed problem is an NP-hard one. To face the hardness of the studied problem, the challenge is to develop algorithms that solve the problem approximately. Finding an approximate solution is a real challenge. In this paper, nine algorithms are proposed. These algorithms are based on the dispatching-rules method, randomization approach, clustering algorithms, and iterative method. The proposed algorithms return approximate solutions in a remarkable time. In addition, in this paper, a novel architecture composed of blocks is proposed. This architecture adds the component "Balancer". This component is responsible to call the best-proposed algorithm and solve the scheduling problem in a polynomial time. In addition, the proposed work helps users to solve the problem of big data concurrency. These algorithms are coded and compared. The performance of these algorithms is tested over three classes of instances. These classes are generated based on uniform distribution. The total number of instances tested is 1350. The average gap, execution time, and the percentage of the best-reached value are used as metrics to measure the performance of the proposed algorithms. Experimental results show the performance of these algorithms and a comparison between them is discussed. Recently big data and its applications had sharp growth in various fields such as IoT, bioinformatics, eCommerce, and social media. The huge volume of data incurred enormous challenges to the architecture, infrastructure, and computing capacity of IT systems. Therefore, the compelling need of the scientific and industrial community is large-scale and robust computing systems. Since one of the characteristics of big data is value, data should be published for analysts to extract useful patterns from them. However, data publishing may lead to the disclosure of individuals' private information. Among the modern parallel computing platforms, Apache Spark is a fast and in-memory computing framework for large-scale data processing that provides high scalability by introducing the resilient distributed dataset (RDDs). In terms of performance, Due to in-memory computations, it is 100 times faster than Hadoop. Therefore, Apache Spark is one of the essential frameworks to implement distributed methods for privacy-preserving in big data publishing (PPBDP). This paper uses the RDD programming of Apache Spark to propose an efficient parallel implementation of a new computing model for big data anonymization. This computing model has three-phase of in-memory computations to address the runtime, scalability, and performance of large-scale data anonymization. The model supports partition-based data clustering algorithms to preserve the λ-diversity privacy model by using transformation and actions on RDDs. Therefore, the authors have investigated Spark-based implementation for preserving the λ-diversity privacy model by two designed City block and Pearson distance functions. Urban space architectural color is the first feature to be perceived in a complex vision beyond shape, texture and material, and plays an important role in the expression of urban territory, humanity and style. However, because of the difficulty of color measurement, the study of architectural color in street space has been difficult to achieve large-scale and fine development. The measurement of architectural color in urban space has received attention from many disciplines. With the development and promotion of information technology, the maturity of street view big data and deep learning technology has provided ideas for the research of street architectural color measurement. Based on this background, this study explores a highly efficient and large-scale method for determining architectural colors in urban space based on deep learning technology and street view big data, with street space architectural colors as the research object. We conducted empirical research in Jiefang North Road, Tianjin. We introduced the SegNet deep learning algorithm to semantically segment the street view images, extract the architectural elements and optimize the edges of the architecture. Based on K-Means clustering model, we identified the colors of the architectural elements in the street view. The accuracy of the building color measurement results was cross-sectionally verified by means of a questionnaire survey. The validation results show that the method is feasible for the study of architectural colors in street space. Finally, the overall coordination, sequence continuity, and primary and secondary hierarchy of architectural colors of Jiefang North Road in Tianjin were analyzed. The results show that the measurement model can realize the intuitive expression of architectural color information, and also can assist designers in the analysis of architectural color in street space with the guidance of color characteristics. The method helps managers, planners and even the general public to summarize the characteristics of color and dig out problems, and is of great significance in the assessment and transformation of the color quality of the street space environment. In the era of big data, data-driven services (DDS) have become critical competitive strategies for digital platform-based enterprises. This paper considers two operational modes of e-commerce platforms, which are self-operated and third-party modes, respectively, and they each lead a platform system. The Hotelling model is adopted to describe the competitive market of both platforms. We characterize their system performance functions. The optimization models are built using game theory to discuss the DDS and price decisions. We obtain the implementation conditions of DDS strategies for both platforms and the dominant situations of their respective DDS levels. We find that a platform adopting the price reduction strategy can improve the performance of its platform system while reducing the competitor's system performance. From the system performance perspective, continuous improvement of the DDS level may appear "harming others may not benefit oneself"; that is, continuously improving the DDS level leads to a decrease in the competitor's system performance but not necessarily an increase in its system performance. Further, consumer welfare within both platform systems shows the law of "as one falls then another rises". As the big data industry matures, self-operated platforms would demonstrate the advantages of service level, profit, and system performance. In contrast, third-party platforms would have an advantage in consumer welfare. The growing popularity of big data analysis and cloud computing has created new big data management standards. Sometimes, programmers may interact with a number of heterogeneous data stores depending on the information they are responsible for: SQL and NoSQL data stores. Interacting with heterogeneous data models via numerous APIs and query languages imposes challenging tasks on multi-data processing developers. Indeed, complex queries concerning homogenous data structures cannot currently be performed in a declarative manner when found in single data storage applications and therefore require additional development efforts. Many models were presented in order to address complex queries Via multistore applications. Some of these models implemented a complex unified and fast model, while others' efficiency is not good enough to solve this type of complex database queries. This paper provides an automated, fast and easy unified architecture to solve simple and complex SQL and NoSQL queries over heterogeneous data stores (CQNS). This proposed framework can be used in cloud environments or for any big data application to automatically help developers to manage basic and complicated database queries. CQNS consists of three layers: matching selector layer, processing layer, and query execution layer. The matching selector layer is the heart of this architecture in which five of the user queries are examined if they are matched with another five queries stored in a single engine stored in the architecture library. This is achieved through a proposed algorithm that directs the query to the right SQL or NoSQL database engine. Furthermore, CQNS deal with many NoSQL Databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Riak, CouchDB, and NOE4J databases. This paper presents a spark framework that can handle both SQL and NoSQL Databases. Four scenarios' benchmarks datasets are used to evaluate the proposed CQNS for querying different NoSQL Databases in terms of optimization process performance and query execution time. The technological development in the new economic era has brought challenges to enterprises. Enterprises need to use massive and effective consumption information to provide customers with high-quality customized services. Big data technology has strong mining ability. The relevant theories of computer data mining technology are summarized to optimize the marketing strategy of enterprises. The application of data mining in precision marketing services is analyzed. Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) has shown strong advantages in machine learning algorithms. In order to help enterprises to analyze customer data quickly and accurately, the characteristics of XGBoost feedback are used to reverse the main factors that can affect customer activation cards, and effective analysis is carried out for these factors. The data obtained from the analysis points out the direction of effective marketing for potential customers to be activated. Finally, the performance of XGBoost is compared with the other three methods. The characteristics that affect the top 7 prediction results are tested for differences. The results show that: (1) the accuracy and recall rate of the proposed model are higher than other algorithms, and the performance is the best. (2) The significance p values of the features included in the test are all less than 0.001. This paper analyzes the imbalance of interprovincial population flow during the Spring Festival travel rush in China, using big data obtained through Baidu Migration, in terms of population flow during the festival and the normalized unbalanced coefficients of edge and node method for analysis, from which the following findings emerge: (1). The imbalance in population flow network during the Spring Festival travel rush is significant, with unbalanced coefficients and relevant frequencies of the population flow network in the Eastern and Western Regions being significantly higher than in other regions. The unbalanced coefficients in the Central Region are lower, followed by corresponding frequencies, while the unbalanced coefficients in the Northeast Region are evenly distributed with the lowest frequencies. The population flow toward the West and Northwest are relatively concentrated, while the population flow toward the South and Southwest are relatively scattered. (2). The regional imbalance during the Spring Festival travel rush has characteristics of spatial agglomeration, where a strongly-connected Southeast Subsystem and a weakly-connected Western Subsystem are formed; there is a significant leverage effect in Guangdong Province, which greatly affects the regional imbalance. Three characteristics emerge in the distribution of regional population flow—the outflow, inflow, and outflow along the Eastern, Central and Western strips/lines, respectively. The paper emphasizes the importance of researching imbalance issues, clarifies the difference between the imbalance of the population flow network and the imbalance involved in previous population research fields, and discusses the Spring Festival Effect in terms of population flow and deficiencies in research. Taking the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as the research area, this paper used OD cluster analysis based on Baidu migration data from January 11 to January 25 (before the sealing-off of Wuhan) and concluded that there is a significant correlation 1the migration level from Wuhan to the GBA and the epidemic severity index. This paper also analyzed the migration levels and diffusivity of the outer and inner cities of the GBA. Lastly, four evaluation indexes were selected to research the possibility of work resumption and the rating of epidemic prevention and control through kernel density estimation. According to the study, the amount of migration depends on the geographical proximity, relationship and economic development of the source region, and the severity of the epidemic depends mainly on the migration volume and the severity of the epidemic in the source region. The epidemic risk is related not only to the severity of the epidemic in the source region but also to the degree of urban traffic development and the degree of urban openness. After the resumption of work, the pressure of epidemic prevention and control has been concentrated mainly in Shenzhen and Canton; the further away a region is from the core cities, the lower the pressure in that region. The mass migration of the population makes it difficult to control the epidemic effectively. The study of the relationship between migration volume, epidemic severity and epidemic risk is helpful to further analyze transmission types and predict the trends of the epidemic. This paper studies the flexible large-scale supplier selection and order allocation problem with various quantity discounts, i.e., no discount, all-unit discount, incremental discount, and carload discount. It fills a literature gap that models usually formulate one or seldom two types because of the modeling and solution difficulty. All suppliers offering the same discount are far from reality, especially when the number of suppliers is large. The proposed model is a variant of the NP-hard knapsack problem. The greedy algorithm, which solves the fractional knapsack problem optimally, is applied to cope with the challenge. Three greedy algorithms are developed using a problem property and two sorted lists. Simulations show the average optimality gaps are 0.1026%, 0.0547%, and 0.0234% and the model can be solved in centiseconds, densiseconds, and seconds for supplier numbers 1000, 10000, and 100000. Interactive data visualization is imperative in the biological sciences. The development of independent layers of interactivity has been in pursuit in the visualization community. We developed bigPint, a data visualization package available on Bioconductor under the GPL-3 license (https://bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/html/bigPint.html). Our software introduces new visualization technology that enables independent layers of interactivity using Plotly in R, which aids in the exploration of large biological datasets. The bigPint package presents modernized versions of scatterplot matrices, volcano plots, and litre plots through the implementation of layered interactivity. These graphics have detected normalization issues, differential expression designation problems, and common analysis errors in public RNA-sequencing datasets. Researchers can apply bigPint graphics to their data by following recommended pipelines written in reproducible code in the user manual. In this paper, we explain how we achieved the independent layers of interactivity that are behind bigPint graphics. Pseudocode and source code are provided. Computational scientists can leverage our open-source code to expand upon our layered interactive technology and/or apply it in new ways toward other computational biology tasks. Newer visualization tools incorporate interactive capabilities that allow scientists to extract information more efficiently than static counterparts. In this paper, we introduce technology that allows multiple independent layers of interactive visualization written in open-source code. This technology can be repurposed across various biological problems. Here, we apply this technology to RNA-sequencing data, a popular next-generation sequencing approach that provides snapshots of RNA quantity in biological samples at given moments in time. It can be used to investigate cellular differences between health and disease, cellular changes in response to external stimuli, and additional biological inquiries. RNA-sequencing data is large, noisy, and biased. It requires sophisticated normalization. The most popular open-source RNA-sequencing data analysis software focuses on models, with little emphasis on integrating effective visualization tools. This is despite sound evidence that RNA-sequencing data is most effectively explored using graphical and numerical approaches in a complementary fashion. The quality of cultivated land determines the production capacity of cultivated land and the level of regional development, and also directly affects the food security and ecological safety of the country. This paper starts from the perspective of spatial pattern of cultivated land quality and uses spatial autocorrelation analysis to study the spatial aggregation characteristics and differences of cultivated land quality in Henan Province at the county level scale, and also uses bivariate spatial autocorrelation to analyze the influence of neighboring influences on the quality of cultivated land in the target area. The spatial autoregressive model was used to further analyze the driving factors affecting the quality of cultivated land, and the influence of cultivated land area index was coupled in the process of rating analysis, which was finally used as a basis to propose more precise measures for the protection of cultivated land zoning. The results show that: (1) The quality of cultivated land in Henan Province has a strong spatial correlation (global Moran's I≈0.710) and shows an obvious aggregation pattern in spatial distribution; positive correlation types (high-high and low-low) are concentrated in north-central and western mountainous areas of Henan Province, respectively; negative correlation types are discrete. The negative correlation types are distributed in a discrete manner. (2) The bivariate spatial autocorrelation results show that Slope (Moran's I≈-0.505), Irrigation guarantee rate (IGR, 0.354), Urbanization rate (-0.255), Total agricultural machinery power (TAMP, 0.331) and Pesticide use (0.214) are the main influencing factors. (3) According to the absolute values of the regression coefficients, it can be seen that the magnitude of the influence of different factors on the quality of cultivated land is: Slope (0.089) >IGR (0.025) > Urbanization rate (0.002) > TAMP (0.001) > Pesticide use (1.96e-006). (4) Based on the spatial pattern presented by the spatial autocorrelation results, we proposed corresponding protection zoning measures to provide more scientific reference decisions and technical support for the implementation of refined cultivated land management in Henan Province. Geographic accessibility plays a key role in health care inequality but remains insufficiently investigated in China, primarily due to the lack of accurate, broad-coverage data on supply and demand. In this paper, we employ an innovative approach to local supply-and-demand conditions to (1) reveal the status quo of the distribution of health care provision and (2) examine whether individual households from communities with different housing prices can acquire equal and adequate quality health care services within and across 361 cities in China. Our findings support previous conclusions that quality hospitals are concentrated in cities with high administrative rankings and developmental levels. However, after accounting for the population size an "accessible" hospital serves, we discern "pro-poor" inequality in accessibility to care (denoted as GAPSD) and that GAPSD decreases along with increases in administrative rankings of cities and in community ratings. This paper is significant for both research and policy-making. Our approach successfully reveals an "unexpected" pattern of health care inequality that has not been reported before, and our findings provide a nationwide, detailed benchmark that facilitates the assessment of health and urban policies, as well as associated policy-making. Predicting phenotypes from genotypes is a fundamental task in quantitative genetics. With technological advances, it is now possible to measure multiple phenotypes in large samples. Multiple phenotypes can share their genetic component; therefore, modeling these phenotypes jointly may improve prediction accuracy by leveraging effects that are shared across phenotypes. However, effects can be shared across phenotypes in a variety of ways, so computationally efficient statistical methods are needed that can accurately and flexibly capture patterns of effect sharing. Here, we describe new Bayesian multivariate, multiple regression methods that, by using flexible priors, are able to model and adapt to different patterns of effect sharing and specificity across phenotypes. Simulation results show that these new methods are fast and improve prediction accuracy compared with existing methods in a wide range of settings where effects are shared. Further, in settings where effects are not shared, our methods still perform competitively with state-of-the-art methods. In real data analyses of expression data in the Genotype Tissue Expression (GTEx) project, our methods improve prediction performance on average for all tissues, with the greatest gains in tissues where effects are strongly shared, and in the tissues with smaller sample sizes. While we use gene expression prediction to illustrate our methods, the methods are generally applicable to any multi-phenotype applications, including prediction of polygenic scores and breeding values. Although the use of a multivariate, multiple linear regression model is not new, in this paper we introduce a flexible and computationally efficient empirical Bayes approach based on this model. This approach uses a prior that captures how the effects of genotypes on phenotypes are shared across the different phenotypes, and then the prior is adapted to the data in order to capture the most prominent sharing patterns present in the data. We assess the benefits of this flexible Bayesian approach in simulated genetic data sets, and we illustrate its application in predicting gene expression measured in multiple human tissues. We show that our methods can outperform competing methods in terms of prediction accuracy, and the computations involved in fitting the model and making the predictions scale well to large data sets. We propose and test three statistical models for the analysis of children’s responses to the balance scale task, a seminal task to study proportional reasoning. We use a latent class modelling approach to formulate a rule-based latent class model (RB LCM) following from a rule-based perspective on proportional reasoning and a new statistical model, the Weighted Sum Model, following from an information-integration approach. Moreover, a hybrid LCM using item covariates is proposed, combining aspects of both a rule-based and information-integration perspective. These models are applied to two different datasets, a standard paper-and-pencil test dataset (N = 779), and a dataset collected within an online learning environment that included direct feedback, time-pressure, and a reward system (N = 808). For the paper-and-pencil dataset the RB LCM resulted in the best fit, whereas for the online dataset the hybrid LCM provided the best fit. The standard paper-and-pencil dataset yielded more evidence for distinct solution rules than the online data set in which quantitative item characteristics are more prominent in determining responses. This paper aims to understand the characteristics of domestic big data jobs requirements through k-means text clustering, help enterprises, and employees to identify big data talents, and promote the further development of big data-related research. Firstly, the crawler software is used to crawl the recruitment information about "big data" on the zhaopin.com recruitment website. Then, Jieba word segmentation and K-means text clustering are used to cluster big data recruitment positions, and the number of clustering was determined by the average sum of squares within the group. Finally, big data jobs are divided into 10 categories, and the urban distribution, salary level, education requirements, and experience requirements of big data jobs are discussed and analyzed from the perspectives of the overall data set and clustering results, to clarify the characteristics of big data job demands. The analysis results show that the job demands of big data are mainly distributed in first-tier cities and new first-tier cities. Enterprises are more inclined to job seekers with a college degree or bachelor's degree and more than one year's relevant experience. There are wage differences among different types of jobs. As infected and vaccinated population increases, some countries decided not to impose non-pharmaceutical intervention measures anymore and to coexist with COVID-19. However, we do not have a comprehensive understanding of its consequence, especially for China where most population has not been infected and most Omicron transmissions are silent. This paper aims to reveal the complete silent transmission dynamics of COVID-19 by agent-based simulations overlaying a big data of more than 0.7 million real individual mobility tracks without any intervention measures throughout a week in a Chinese city, with an extent of completeness and realism not attained in existing studies. Together with the empirically inferred transmission rate of COVID-19, we find surprisingly that with only 70 citizens to be infected initially, 0.33 million becomes infected silently at last. We also reveal a characteristic daily periodic pattern of the transmission dynamics, with peaks in mornings and afternoons. In addition, by inferring individual professions, visited locations and age group, we found that retailing, catering and hotel staff are more likely to get infected than other professions, and elderly and retirees are more likely to get infected at home than outside home. As the amounts of data and use of distributed systems for data storage and processing have increased, reducing the number of replications has turned into a crucial requirement in these systems, which has been addressed by plenty of research. In this paper, an algorithm has been proposed to reduce the number of replications in big data transfer and, eventually to lower the traffic load over the grid by classifying data efficiently and optimally based on the sent data types and using VIKOR as a method of multivariate decision-making for ranking replication sites. Considering different variables, the VIKOR method makes it possible to take all the parameters effective in the assessment of site ranks into account. According to the results and evaluations, the proposed method has exhibited an improvement by about thirty percent in average over the LRU, LFU, BHR, and Without Rep. algorithms. Furthermore, it has improved the existing multivariate methods through different approaches to replication by thirty percent, as it considers effective parameters such as time, the number of replications, and replication site, causing replication to occur when it can make an improvement in terms of access. Typhoons are natural disasters characterized by their high frequency of occurrence and significant impact, often leading to secondary disasters. In this study, we propose a prediction model for the trend of typhoon disasters. Utilizing neural networks, we calculate the forgetting gate, update gate, and output gate to forecast typhoon intensity, position, and disaster trends. By employing the concept of big data, we collected typhoon data using Python technology and verified the model's performance. Overall, the model exhibited a good fit, particularly for strong tropical storms. However, improvements are needed to enhance the forecasting accuracy for tropical depressions, typhoons, and strong typhoons. The model demonstrated a small average error in predicting the latitude and longitude of the typhoon's center position, and the predicted path closely aligned with the actual trajectory. Since the pandemic started, organisations have been actively seeking ways to improve their organisational agility and resilience (regility) and turn to Artificial Intelligence (AI) to gain a deeper understanding and further enhance their agility and regility. Organisations are turning to AI as a critical enabler to achieve these goals. AI empowers organisations by analysing large data sets quickly and accurately, enabling faster decision-making and building agility and resilience. This strategic use of AI gives businesses a competitive advantage and allows them to adapt to rapidly changing environments. Failure to prioritise agility and responsiveness can result in increased costs, missed opportunities, competition and reputational damage, and ultimately, loss of customers, revenue, profitability, and market share. Prioritising can be achieved by utilising eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques, illuminating how AI models make decisions and making them transparent, interpretable, and understandable. Based on previous research on using AI to predict organisational agility, this study focuses on integrating XAI techniques, such as Shapley Additive Explanations (SHAP), in organisational agility and resilience. By identifying the importance of different features that affect organisational agility prediction, this study aims to demystify the decision-making processes of the prediction model using XAI. This is essential for the ethical deployment of AI, fostering trust and transparency in these systems. Big streaming data environment concerns a complicated scenario where data to be processed continuously flow into a processing unit and certainly cause a memory overflow problem. This obstructs the adaptation of deploying all existing classic sorting algorithms because the data to be sorted must be entirely stored inside the fixed-size storage including the space in internal and external storage devices. Generally, it is always assumed that the size of each data chunk is not larger than the size of storage (M) but in fact the size of the entire stream (n) is usually much larger than M. In this paper, a new fast continuous streaming sorting is proposed to cope with the constraint of storage overflow. The algorithm was tested with various real data sets consisting of 10,000 to 17,000,000 numbers and different storage sizes ranging from 0.01n to 0.50n. It was found that the feasible lower bound of storage size is 0.35n with 100% sorting accuracy. The sorting time outperforms bubble sort, quick sort, insertion sort, and merge sort when data size is greater than 1,000,000 numbers. Remarkably, the sorting time of the proposed algorithm is 1,452 times less than the sorting time of external merge sort and 28.1767 times less than the sorting time of streaming data sort. Cloud computing has evolved the big data technologies to a consolidated paradigm with SPaaS (Streaming processing-as-a-service). With a number of enterprises offering cloud-based solutions to end-users and other small enterprises, there has been a boom in the volume of data, creating interest of both industry and academia in big data analytics, streaming applications, and social networking applications. With the companies shifting to cloud-based solutions as a service paradigm, the competition grows in the market. Good quality of service (QoS) is a must for the enterprises, as they strive to survive in a competitive environment. However, achieving reasonable QoS goals to meet SLA agreement cost-effectively is challenging due to variation in workload over time. This problem can be solved if the system has the ability to predict the workload for the near future. In this paper, we present a novel topology-refining scheme based on a workload prediction mechanism. Predictions are made through a model based on a combination of SVR, autoregressive, and moving average model with a feedback mechanism. Our streaming system is designed to increase the overall performance by making the topology refining robust to the incoming workload on the fly, while still being able to achieve QoS goals of SLA constraints. Apache Flink distributed processing engine is used as a testbed in the paper. Many important applications continuously generate data, such as financial transaction administration, satellite monitoring, network flow monitoring, and web information processing. The data mining results are always evolving with the newly generated data. Obviously, for the clustering task, it is better to incrementally update the new clustering results based on the old data rather than to recluster all of the data from scratch. The incremental clustering approach is an essential way to solve the problem of clustering with growing Big Data. This paper proposes a boundary-profile-based incremental clustering (BPIC) method to find arbitrarily shaped clusters with dynamically growing datasets. This method represents the existing clustering results with a collection of boundary profiles and discards the inner points of clusters rather than keep all data. It greatly saves both time and space storage costs. To identify the boundary profile, this paper presents a boundary-vector-based boundary point detection (BV-BPD) algorithm that summarizes the structure of the existing clusters. The BPIC method processes each new point in an online fashion and updates the clustering results in a batch mode. When a new point arrives, the BPIC method either immediately labels it or temporarily puts it into a bucket according to the relationship between the new data and the boundary profiles. A bucket is employed to distinguish the noise from the potential seeds of new clusters and alleviate the effects of data order. When the bucket is full, the BPIC method will cluster the data within it and update the clustering results. Thus, the BPIC method is insensitive to noise and the order of new data, which is critical for the robustness of the incremental clustering process. In the experiments, the performance of the boundary point detection algorithm BV-BPD is compared with the state-of-the-art method. The results show that the BV-BPD is better than the state-of-the-art method. Additionally, the performance of BPIC and other two incremental clustering methods are investigated in terms of clustering quality, time and space efficiency. Consensus clustering has been widely used in bioinformatics and other applications to improve the accuracy, stability and reliability of clustering results. This approach ensembles cluster co-occurrences from multiple clustering runs on subsampled observations. For application to large-scale bioinformatics data, such as to discover cell types from single-cell sequencing data, for example, consensus clustering has two significant drawbacks: (i) computational inefficiency due to repeatedly applying clustering algorithms, and (ii) lack of interpretability into the important features for differentiating clusters. In this paper, we address these two challenges by developing IMPACC: Interpretable MiniPatch Adaptive Consensus Clustering. Our approach adopts three major innovations. We ensemble cluster co-occurrences from tiny subsets of both observations and features, termed minipatches, thus dramatically reducing computation time. Additionally, we develop adaptive sampling schemes for observations, which result in both improved reliability and computational savings, as well as adaptive sampling schemes of features, which lead to interpretable solutions by quickly learning the most relevant features that differentiate clusters. We study our approach on synthetic data and a variety of real large-scale bioinformatics data sets; results show that our approach not only yields more accurate and interpretable cluster solutions, but it also substantially improves computational efficiency compared to standard consensus clustering approaches. With adaptive sampling frameworks on both features and observations, our method is able to achieve higher clustering accuracy and reliability, as well as simultaneously identify scientifically important features that distinguish the clusters. In addition, we offer major computational improvements, with dramatically faster speed than our competitors. Our method is general and widely applicable to data sets from any field, and especially can offer superior performance when dealing with complex sparse and high dimensional data found in bioinformatics. This paper details the development and testing of the GIFT macro, which is a freely available program for ImageJ for the automated measurement of fiber diameters in SEM images of electrospun materials. The GIFT macro applies a validated method which distinguishes fiber diameters based on distance frequencies within an image. In this work, we introduce an applied version of the GIFT method which has been designed to be user-friendly while still allowing complete control over the various parameters involved in the image processing steps. The macro quickly processes large data sets and creates results that are reproducible and accurate. The program outputs both raw data and fiber diameter averages, so that the user can quickly assess the results and has the opportunity for further analysis if desired. The GIFT macro was compared directly to other software designed for fiber diameter measurements and was found to have comparable or lower average error, especially when measuring very small fibers, and reduced processing times per image. Longitudinal 'omics analytical methods are extensively used in the field of evolving precision medicine, by enabling 'big data' recording and high-resolution interpretation of complex datasets, driven by individual variations in response to perturbations such as disease pathogenesis, medical treatment or changes in lifestyle. However, inherent technical limitations in biomedical studies often result in the generation of feature-rich and sample-limited datasets. Analyzing such data using conventional modalities often proves to be challenging since the repeated, high-dimensional measurements overload the outlook with inconsequential variations that must be filtered from the data in order to find the true, biologically relevant signal. Tensor methods for the analysis and meaningful representation of multi-way data may prove useful to the biological research community by their advertised ability to tackle this challenge. In this study, we present tcam—a new unsupervised tensor factorization method for the analysis of multi-way data. Building on top of cutting-edge developments in the field of tensor-tensor algebra, we characterize the unique mathematical properties of our method, namely, 1) preservation of geometric and statistical traits of the data, which enables uncovering information beyond the inter-individual variation that often takes-over the focus, especially in human studies. 2) Natural and straightforward out-of-sample extension, making tcam amenable for integration in machine learning workflows. A series of re-analyses of real-world, human experimental datasets showcase these theoretical properties, while providing empirical confirmation of tcam's utility in the analysis of longitudinal 'omics data. Author summary: Tensor methods have proven useful for exploration of high-dimensional, multi-way data that is produced in longitudinal 'omics studies. However, even the most recent applications of these methods to 'omics data are based on the canonical polyadic tensor-rank factorization whose results heavily depend on the choice of target rank, lack any guarantee for optimal approximation, and do not allow for out-of-sample extension in a straightforward manner. In this paper, we present a method for tensor component analysis for the analysis of longitudinal 'omics data, built on top of cutting-edge developments in the field of tensor-tensor algebra. We show that our method, in contrast to existing tensor-methods, enjoys provable optimal properties on the distortion and variance in the embedding space, enabling direct and meaningful interpretation, supporting traditional multivariate statistical analysis to be performed in the embedding space. Due to the method's construction using tensor-tensor products, the procedure of mapping a point to the embedding space of a pre-trained factorization is simple and scalable, giving rise to the application of our method as a feature engineering step in standard machine learning workflows. Social networks influence health-related behavior, such as obesity and smoking. While researchers have studied social networks as a driver for diffusion of influences and behavior, it is less understood how the structure or topology of the network, in itself, impacts an individual's health behavior and wellness state. In this paper, we investigate whether the structure or topology of a social network offers additional insight and predictability on an individual's health and wellness. We develop a method called the Network-Driven health predictor (NetCARE) that leverages features representative of social network structure. Using a large longitudinal data set of students enrolled in the NetHealth study at the University of Notre Dame, we show that the NetCARE method improves the overall prediction performance over the baseline models—that use demographics and physical attributes—by 38%, 65%, 55%, and 54% for the wellness states—stress, happiness, positive attitude, and self-assessed health—considered in this paper. Big data classification is very slow when using traditional machine learning classifiers, particularly when using a lazy and slow-by-nature classifier such as the k-nearest neighbors algorithm (KNN). This paper proposes a new approach which is based on sorting the feature vectors of training data in a binary search tree to accelerate big data classification using the KNN approach. This is done using two methods, both of which utilize two local points to sort the examples based on their similarity to these local points. The first method chooses the local points based on their similarity to the global extreme points, while the second method chooses the local points randomly. The results of various experiments conducted on different big datasets show reasonable accuracy rates compared to state-of-the-art methods and the KNN classifier itself. Disparity in suicide rates across various metropolitan areas in the US is growing. Besides personal genomics and pre-existing mental health conditions affecting individual-level suicidal behaviors, contextual factors are also instrumental in determining region-/community-level suicide risk. However, there is a lack of quantitative approach to model the complex associations and interplays of the socio-environmental factors with the regional suicide rates. In this paper, we propose a holistic data-driven framework to model the associations of socio-environmental factors (demographic, socio-economic, and climate) with the suicide rates, and compare the key socio-environmental determinants of suicides across the large and medium/small metros of the vulnerable US states, leveraging a suite of advanced statistical learning algorithms. We found that random forest outperforms all the other models in terms of both in-sample goodness-of-fit and out-of-sample predictive accuracy, which is then used for statistical inferencing. Overall, our findings show that there is a significant difference in the relationships of socio-environmental factors with the suicide rates across the large and medium/small metropolitan areas of the vulnerable US states. Particularly, suicides in medium/small metros are more sensitive to socio-economic and demographic factors, while that in large metros are more sensitive to climatic factors. Our results also indicate that non-Hispanics, native Hawaiian or Pacific islanders, and adolescents aged 15-29 years, residing in the large metropolitan areas, are more vulnerable to suicides compared to those living in the medium/small metropolitan areas. We also observe that higher temperatures are positively associated with higher suicide rates, with large metros being more sensitive to such association compared to that of the medium/small metros. Our proposed data-driven framework underscores the future opportunities of using big data analytics in analyzing the complex associations of socio-environmental factors and inform policy actions accordingly. How do funding agencies ramp-up their capabilities to support research in a rapidly emerging area? This paper addresses this question through a comparison of research proposals awarded by the US National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in the field of Big Data. Big data is characterized by its size and difficulties in capturing, curating, managing and processing it in reasonable periods of time. Although Big Data has its legacy in longstanding information technology research, the field grew very rapidly over a short period. We find that the extent of interdisciplinarity is a key aspect in how these funding agencies address the rise of Big Data. Our results show that both agencies have been able to marshal funding to support Big Data research in multiple areas, but the NSF relies to a greater extent on multi-program funding from different fields. Medical data processing and analytics exert significant influence in furnishing dependable decision support for prospective biomedical applications. Given the sensitive nature of medical data, specialized techniques and frameworks tailored for application-centric processing are imperative. This article presents a conceptualization for the analysis and uniformitarian of datasets through the implementation of Federated Learning (FL). The realm of medical big data stems from diverse origins, necessitating the delineation of data provenance and attribute paradigms to facilitate feature extraction and dependency assessment. The architecture governing the data collection framework is intricately linked to remote data transmission, thereby engendering efficient customization oversight. The operational methodology unfolds across four strata: the data origin layer, data acquisition layer, data classification layer, and data optimization layer. Central to this endeavor are multi-objective optimal datasets (MooM), characterized by attribute-driven feature cartography and cluster categorization through the conduit of federated learning models. The orchestration of feature synchronization and parameter extraction transpires across multiple tiers of neural networking, culminating in the provisioning of a steadfast remedy through dataset standardization and labeling. The empirical findings reflect the efficacy of the proposed technique, boasting an impressive 97.34% accuracy rate in the disentanglement and clustering of telemedicine data, facilitated by the operational servers within the ambit of the federated model. Objectives: The objective of this paper is to study under which circumstances wearable and health app users would accept a compensation payment, namely a digital dividend, to share their self-tracked health data. Methods: We conducted a discrete choice experiment alternative, a separated adaptive dual response. We chose this approach to reduce extreme response behavior, considering the emotionally-charged topic of health data sales, and to measure willingness to accept. Previous experiments in lab settings led to demands for high monetary compensation. After a first online survey and two pre-studies, we validated four attributes for the final online study: monthly bonus payment, stakeholder handling the data (e.g., health insurer, pharmaceutical or medical device companies, universities), type of data, and data sales to third parties. We used a random utility framework to evaluate individual choice preferences. To test the expected prices of the main study for robustness, we assigned respondents randomly to one of two identical questionnaires with varying price ranges. Results: Over a period of three weeks, 842 respondents participated in the main survey, and 272 respondents participated in the second survey. The participants considered transparency about data processing and no further data sales to third parties as very important to the decision to share data with different stakeholders, as well as adequate monetary compensation. Price expectations resulting from the experiment were high; pharmaceutical and medical device companies would have to pay an average digital dividend of 237.30€/month for patient generated health data of all types. We also observed an anchor effect, which means that people formed price expectations during the process and not ex ante. We found a bimodal distribution between relatively low price expectations and relatively high price expectations, which shows that personal data selling is a divisive societal issue. However, the results indicate that a digital dividend could be an accepted economic incentive system to gather large-scale, self-tracked data for research and development purposes. After the COVID-19 crisis, price expectations might change due to public sensitization to the need for big data research on patient generated health data. Conclusion: A continuing success of existing data donation models is highly unlikely. The health care sector needs to develop transparency and trust in data processing. An adequate digital dividend could be an effective long-term measure to convince a diverse and large group of people to share high-quality, continuous data for research purposes. With the emergence of Artificial Intelligence technology and the advancement of science and technology, the current mainstream path of social development is continuously updating and improving various industries using technology. Therefore, in order to promote the development of sneaker consumer culture, this study explores the use of technological means to improve the dissemination effect of symbolic culture in sneaker consumer culture. Firstly, the development concept and mainstream direction of sneaker consumer culture in the era of big data are discussed, and the application principle of big data technology is introduced. Then, a sneaker culture dissemination model based on big data technology is designed. Finally, the model is optimized using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), and its effectiveness is evaluated. The results show that the Convolutional Neural Network-Big Data (CNN-BD) model designed in this study has the highest fitting degree of 93% and a lowest fitting degree of 78% in the UT-Zap50K dataset. In the Ai2 dataset, the highest fitting degree of the big data classification model is 94%, and the lowest is 76%. In the Kaggle Women's Shoe dataset, the highest fitting degree of the big data classification model is 92%, and the lowest is 77%. In the Kaggle Men's Shoe dataset, the highest fitting degree of the big data classification model is 94%, and the lowest is 79%. The designed model has the highest accuracy rate of 93% in sneaker classification, while other models have the highest accuracy rate of around 82% in sneaker classification. Compared with traditional big data technology, the designed model has greatly improved and can adapt to more working environments. This study not only provides technical support for the application of big data technology but also contributes to improving the dissemination effect and promoting the comprehensive development of sneaker consumer culture. This paper addresses the computation procedures for estimating the impact of interference in 60 GHz IEEE 802.11ad uplink access in order to construct visual big-data database from randomly deployed surveillance camera sensing devices. The acquired large-scale massive visual information from surveillance camera devices will be used for organizing big-data database, i.e., this estimation is essential for constructing centralized cloud-enabled surveillance database. This performance estimation study captures interference impacts on the target cloud access points from multiple interference components generated by the 60 GHz wireless transmissions from nearby surveillance camera devices to their associated cloud access points. With this uplink interference scenario, the interference impacts on the main wireless transmission from a target surveillance camera device to its associated target cloud access point with a number of settings are measured and estimated under the consideration of 60 GHz radiation characteristics and antenna radiation pattern models. The Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) is a graph representing causal pathways for informing the conduct of an observational study. The use of DAGs allows transparent communication of a causal model between researchers and can prevent over-adjustment biases when conducting causal inference, permitting greater confidence and transparency in reported causal estimates. In the era of 'big data' and increasing number of observational studies, the role of the DAG is becoming more important. Recent best-practice guidance for constructing a DAG with reference to the literature has been published in the 'Evidence synthesis for constructing DAGs' (ESC-DAG) protocol. We aimed to assess adherence to these principles for DAGs constructed within perioperative literature. Following registration on the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO) and with adherence to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) reporting framework for systematic reviews, we searched the Excerpta Medica dataBASE (Embase), the Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) and Cochrane databases for perioperative observational research incorporating a DAG. Nineteen studies were included in the final synthesis. No studies demonstrated any evidence of following the mapping stage of the protocol. Fifteen (79%) fulfilled over half of the translation and integration one stages of the protocol. Adherence with one stage did not guarantee fulfilment of the other. Two studies (11%) undertook the integration two stage. Unmeasured variables were handled inconsistently between studies. Only three (16%) studies included unmeasured variables within their DAG and acknowledged their implication within the main text. Overall, DAGs that were constructed for use in perioperative observational literature did not consistently adhere to best practice, potentially limiting the benefits of subsequent causal inference. Further work should focus on exploring reasons for this deviation and increasing methodological transparency around DAG construction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
