The article presents a case study of a 45-year-old woman with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). The old woman has bilateral renal angiomyelolipomas which was bleeding and she has been suffering from mental retardation, seizures, facial and subungal angiomas. It discusses TSC, a disease that is caused by genetic mutations resulting to the formation of growths in multiple organ systems. It states that mental retardation, epilepsy, and adenoma sebaceum are the three classic clinical triad of TSC.
