The article discusses the obligation of confidentiality for risk management purposes. It examines the origin of obligation and the purpose of the obligation in keeping patient information confidential depending on the legal basis. Moreover, the article also discusses the ethical obligation as a term of contract, which is an understanding between the doctor and the patient.
