Conclusions1. A significant increase in cerebral potassium levels of dry brain was demonstrated in insulin-treated rats. 2. Hypoglycemia had no significant effect on water content of brains. 3. The importance of this finding as related to the present concept of cerebral glucose metabolism is discussed.
