The article describes the case of a 73-year-old woman who developed intralaryngeal ectopic thyroid tissue (ETT). The patient presented with a painless mass on the right side of her neck. The ETT was found while she was undergoing evaluation for thyroid enlargement. Some theories regarding the etiology of intralaryngeal ETT are discussed.
