The article presents a study conducted by the authors related to family environment of families with at least one parent with bipolar disorder type I (BDF) and comparison between affected offspring (aBDF) and unaffected offspring (uBDF). The Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Age Children/Present and Lifetime Version (K-SADS-PL) interview was used for children's diagnosis. It reports that there is more dysfunctional interactions in families with parents with BDF.
