The article presents a study which investigated Lambrinudi arthrodesis combined with posterior tibial tendon transfer as a means to correct adult drop foot and provide lateral ankle stability and active dorsiflexion. It concludes that the procedure is a reliable and reproducible treatment for semi-rigid and rigid adult drop foot. The procedure provided a stable correction of the adult drop foot and yielded high patient satisfaction, and enabled the patients to wear normal shoes after the treatment.
