The article focuses on the changing environments in educational institutes. Professor Frederick T. Cain takes note of the situation prevailing in campuses today. Most of the students were not attending their classes regularly but still would be getting their degrees after four years. He believes that many students would do so without reading a single book. To improve the prevailing situation, professor Cain decided to implement seven new regulations in his class. One of the rule is — attendance is must. Any student found guilty of more than two absences will be dropped from the rolls.
