In this paper, we define the general class Hp (λ, α, γ) of analytic and p-valent functions with negative coefficients. We investigate various important properties and characteristies of this class. In this paper we investigate a family of linear operator defined on the space of p-valent meromorphic functions. By making use of this linear operator, we introduce and investigate several new subclasses of p-valent starlike, p-valent convex, p-valent close-to-convex and p-valent quasi-convex meromorphic functions. Let S* (n, λ, A, B) denote the class of functions … analytic and univalent in the disc |z|; < 1 for which (1 - λ) Dnf(z)/z + λ Dn+1f(z)/z ≺ a1 1 + Az/1 + Bz, where Dn denotes Ruscheweyh derivative, λ ≥ 0, -1 ≤ A < B ≤ 1, and n ∈ N ∪ {0} Two subclasses S*1(n, λ, A, B) and S*2(n, λ, A, B) have been considered. The first class is normalized by requiring that the functions satisfy f′(z) = z0 (0 < z0 < 1) and in the second class the functions satisfy f′(z) = 1 (0 < z0 < 1). In this paper we obtain coefficient estimates, distortion theorems, closure theorems and radius of convexity of order p(α ≤ p < 1) for the classes S*i (n, λ, A, B) (i = 1, 2). Further we determine a necessary and sufficient condition that a subset X of the real interval (0, 1) should satisfy the property that ∪z, ∈ X S*1(n, λ, A, B, zi) form a convex family.
