- Abstract
Lipomas are benign, slow growing soft tissue neoplasm that present as soft, painless nodules that are most commonly seen on the trunk but can be located anywhere on the body. They are however seldomly encountered within in the parotid region. It's occurrence in this region also makes its surgical resection challenging due to its close relation to the facial nerve and its branches. We report a case of lipoma of the parotid region in a 30-yearold man who had a 5.0 × 3.0 cm soft mass in the right parotid gland which was managed surgically., Competing Interests: Conflict of interestThere are no conflict of interest., (© Association of Otolaryngologists of India 2023.
