Abstract: The present work aims to numerically investigate the pressure behaviour of adhesively bonded interlocked composites tubes. To this end, a finite element model has been investigated based on the meso-model (interface and ply) concept. The identification of the model parameters has been carried-out through fracture mechanical tests and cyclic tensile tests on [±45] and [±80] specimens. The mathematical models as well as the experimental tests of both interface and ply are presented. It has been proved through numerical outcomes that the joined tube outer diameter is proportional to the applied pressure.
