The main strategy of this paper is intended to speed up the convergence of the inertial Mann iterative method and further speed up it through the normal S-iterative method for a certain class of nonexpansive-type operators that are linked with variational inequality problems. Our new convergence theory permits us to settle down the difficulty of unification of Korpelevich's extragradient method, Tseng's extragardient method, and subgardient extragardient method for solving variational inequality problems through an auxiliary algorithmic operator, which is associated with the seed operator. The paper establishes an interesting the fact that the relaxed inertial normal S-iterative extragradient methods do influence much more on convergence behaviour. Finally, the numerical experiments are carried out to illustrate that the relaxed inertial iterative methods; in particular, the relaxed inertial normal S-iterative extragradient methods may have a number of advantages over other methods in computing solutions to variational inequality problems in many cases. This paper studies the convergence rates of two accelerated computational methods without assuming nonexpansivity of the underlying operators with convex and affine domains in infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces. One method is a noninertial method, and its convergence rate is estimated as R T , { x n } (n) = o 1 n in worst case. The other is an inertial method, and its convergence rate is estimated as R T , { y n } (n) = o 1 n under practical conditions. Then, we apply our results to give new results on convergence rates for solving generalized split common fixed-point problems for the class of demimetric operators. We also apply our results to variational inclusion problems and convex optimization problems. Our results significantly improve and/or develop previously discussed fixed-point problems and splitting problems and related algorithms. To demonstrate the applicability of our methods, we provide numerical examples for comparisons and numerical experiments on regression problems for publicly available high-dimensional real datasets taken from different application domains. Many iterative algorithms like Picard, Mann, Ishikawa are very useful to solve fixed point problems of nonlinear operators in real Hilbert spaces. The recent trend is to enhance their convergence rate abruptly by using inertial terms. The purpose of this paper is to investigate a new inertial iterative algorithm for finding the fixed points of nonexpansive operators in the framework of Hilbert spaces. We study the weak convergence of the proposed algorithm under mild assumptions. We apply our algorithm to design a new accelerated proximal gradient method. This new proximal gradient technique is applied to regression problems. Numerical experiments have been conducted for regression problems with several publicly available high-dimensional datasets and compare the proposed algorithm with already existing algorithms on the basis of their performance for accuracy and objective function values. The hybrid steepest-descent method introduced by Yamada (2001) is an algorithmic solution to the variational inequality problem over the fixed point set of nonlinear mapping and applicable to a broad range of convexly constrained nonlinear inverse problems in real Hilbert spaces. Lehdili and Moudafi (1996) introduced the new prox-Tikhonov regularization method for proximal point algorithm to generate a strongly convergent sequence and established a convergence property for it by using the technique of variational distance in Hilbert spaces. In this paper, motivated by Yamada's hybrid steepest-descent and Lehdili and Moudafi's algorithms, a generalized hybrid steepest-descent algorithm for computing the solutions of the variational inequality problem over the common fixed point set of sequence of nonexpansive-type mappings in the framework of Banach space is proposed. The strong convergence for the proposed algorithm to the solution is guaranteed under some assumptions. Al2O3–ZrO2 composites were sintered using low cost extended arc thermal plasma reactor and conventional heating. Composites prepared in a wide range of composition were studied in terms of their density, shrinkage, hardness, structure, microstructure and dielectric response. Experimental parameter such as sintering time, sintering temperature and plasma power were optimized to achieve higher sintered end product. Highly dense sintered products were obtained by plasma heating route within short sintering time compared with conventional sintered method. Interesting development pertaining to structure and phase evolution, structure and dielectric response are analyzed. It is found that compositional variation in this composite produces structural phase separation at different sintering conditions, which is more in plasma heating product than conventional heated product.
