The article reports on the success of researchers from the University of Tokyo in Japan to constitute gallium nitride (GaN) fractal nanostructures which emit ultraviolet light at a room temperature. It found that GaN fractals were developed on a sapphire substrate through photochemical vapour deposition in a reaction chamber that has both trimethylgallium and ammonia gases. Moreover, these findings proves nature's endless inspiration to science.
