The article presents a study on the essential oil composition and antimicrobial activity of Achillea formosa subspecies (subsp.) amanica. It states that the plant was mostly composed of borneol (12.8%), η-hexadecanoic acid (11.6%), caryophyllene oxide (5.5%), and β-eudesmol (5.0%). Moreover, Achillea formosa subsp. amanica was significantly effective against the yeasts Candida albicans and Candida tropicalis with the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of 12.5 micrograms per milliliter (μg/mL).

The article reports on the essential oil composition of six freshly collected plant species, Cyclotrichium glabrescens, C. longiflorum Leblebici, C. stamineum, C. niveum, C. leucotrichum and C. origanifolium and their biological activity. The antimicrobial activities of the plant species are also discussed.

The chemical compositions and antimicrobial activities of the essential oils from two Turkish endemic species, Prangos platychlaena and P. uechtritzii, were investigated. The article presents a study on the essential oil composition of Achillea boissieri specie. It mentions that the study involves collecting plant materials and specimens from Elbistan, Turkey that was placed at the herbarium of Inonu University in Malatya, Turkey.
