Abstract

The article focuses on the involvement of dopamine beta-hydroxylase deficiency to the autonomic network of the nervous system. Congenital dopamine beta-hydroxylase deficiency results in unidentified levels of tissue and circulating epinephrine and norepinephrine. Immunohistochemical studies show the structurally intact sympathetic nerve terminals which lacks DBH immunoreactivity.
