This editorial discusses the current state of theranostics and molecular imaging training in the Arab world. The use of theranostics has increased due to the prevalence of non-communicable diseases and financial investments in the field. Adequate training is crucial for the safe and effective use of theranostics, and international organizations have published guidelines for training programs. However, the Arab world faces challenges due to its diverse development and instability, resulting in varying access to nuclear medicine physicians and a lack of reliance on local training programs. Efforts are being made to establish a regional nuclear medicine certification board to standardize practice and integrate theranostics into patient care. [Extracted from the article]
