This document is a reply to a letter to the editor regarding a scoping review on Collet-Sicard Syndrome (CSS). The authors of the original article thank Dr. Nathan Beucler for his interest and explain their research methodology. They conducted a systematic search of articles that mentioned CSS in the title and focused on patients with involvement of cranial nerves IX-XII. They did not analyze outcomes due to the variability of etiologies and lack of homogeneity between studies.
