The exacerbation of high crime rate has become a critical impediment to the country's economy, therefore necessitating the involvement of data analysts and scientists in extracting invaluable insights from crime data to proffer solutions towards crime prevention and regulation. To this end, this study presents a novel Particle Swarm-Cuckoo Search (PS-CS) optimization algorithm which leverages the potency of both particle swarm optimization and cuckoo search algorithms to enhance the optimization of network parameters and enable the training of deep neural networks for crime prediction. The proposed PS-CS model supersedes the traditional backpropagation algorithm which is fraught with limitations such as slow convergence and a proclivity for local optima. The implementation of the proposed model has the potential to be an efficacious tool for predicting crime rates in India, thus facilitating the efforts of law enforcement agencies in controlling and curbing criminal activities. We conducted a comprehensive and intricate evaluation of the efficacy of our proposed methodologies vis-à-vis the most pervasive and prevalent classification models currently in use. These models encompassed not only conventional machine learning techniques, such as Multiple Linear Regression, Support Vector Regression (SVR), Random Forest Regression, and Decision Trees, but also advanced and state-of-the-art deep learning models such as Residual Neural Network-152 (ResNet), Visual Geometry Group (VGG), and EfficienteNet-B7. Our findings evince that the suggested approach, PS-CS, in conjunction with CNN model, outperformed all other models, yielding an unparalleled accuracy score of 99.87%. By comparison, other models, including Multiple Linear Regression, SVR, Random Forest Regression, and Decision Trees, exhibited markedly inferior accuracy scores ranging from 80% to 95%. It is therefore evident that our proposed methodology, when integrated with a deep learning model, proves to be an exceedingly efficacious and robust solution for classification tasks. The aim of this manuscript is to prove some new fixed-point results for the two families of multivalued dominated-contractive maps defined on a closed ball in a complete multiplicative-metric space. The fixed-point theorems for multigraph-dominated maps are established. We also investigate the existence of fixed points of the two families of graphic contractions in a multiplicative-metric space. For illustration, an example is provided to clarify that the hypothesis of the obtained result is valid. Moreover, the applications of the obtained results to show the existence of solutions to the coupled systems of nonlinear Volterra-type integral equations and mappingal equations are presented as a confirmation of the novelty of our results. A tool Smart Glazing Simulator (SGLSim), has been developed to perform parametric simulation analysis of different window systems with several window-to-wall ratios and orientations to compute and compare the annual energy performance. The net annual energy performance of the building is based on the electricity consumption in heating, cooling, interior lighting, and appliances, along with the electricity generation by the photovoltaic (PV) glazing, which is used to evaluate the energy performance of smart glazing. Performing parametric energy simulations and calculating the net annual electricity consumption of different combinations requires building modeling and energy simulation expertise. A web-based parametric tool can assist the user in carrying out the desired studies without requiring extensive technical knowledge. A case study is prepared for India's warm and humid climatic zone. This study examines the benefits of double pane semi-transparent photovoltaics (STPV) glazing, STPV glazing with dynamic internal blind, and electrochromic (EC) glazing over other traditional glazing systems. The study shows that the optimal net annual electricity consumption in the case of STPV windows is 10–12% less than the optimal value obtained in a simple glazing case. Additionally, the result suggested that glare-controlled interior blinds in the STPV window further reduce the net annual electricity consumption by up to 15% compared to conventional glazing. In the present paper the concepts of q-rung orthopair fuzzy mappings (q-ROF mapping) and q-rung (α , β) -cuts are introduced. Some common fixed point results for q-ROF mappings are presented in b-metric spaces using Suzuki-type contractive conditions. Examples in support of obtained results are also presented. We have also presented an application of our result for the existence of solution of nonlinear fractional integral inclusion. The manuscript is an extension of the investigations concerning θ-contractions which have been newly proposed in (Jleli and Samet in J. Inequal. Appl. 2014:38, 2014). The authors generalize the notion of θ-contractions to the case of nonlinear θ b -contraction mappings and prove multi-valued fixed point theorems based on the b-Bianchini–Grandolfi gauge function in b-metric spaces. The manuscript consists of a tangible example which displays the motivation for such investigations. This article proposes four distinct kinds of symmetric contraction in the framework of complete F-metric spaces. We examine the condition to guarantee the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for these contractions. We propose the single feeder fiber architecture for wavelength division multiplexing passive optical network (WDM-PON) based on directly modulated chirp managed laser (CML). The downlink (DL) signal output from the laser is converted to return-to-zero (RZ) differential phase shift signal using a pulse carver. The downstream signal is reused as a carrier for the upstream using intensity modulation technique. Simulation results show the error-free performance at symmetric data rate of 10 Gbit/s per channel with negligible power penalty and improved receiver sensitivity for the uplink (UL), over 25 km standard single-mode fiber (SSMF). In order to achieve higher spectral efficiency, mode division multiplexing (MDM) in few-mode fibers is a new research area. The idea faces lots of technical issues including intermodal delay and mode coupling which limit the achievable length of the system. This paper is designated to complete the analysis of intermodal delay in step-index few-mode fibers. We analyze numerically all the parameters of fiber, which could impact intermodal delay in few-mode fibers and identify the conditions which can increase the number of multiplex modes without significant increase in maximum intermodal delay. We experimentally demonstrate and analyze a 10 Gbit/s full duplex wavelength division multiplexing passive optical network (WDM-PON) system. A non-return-to-zero differential phase shift keying (NRZ-DPSK) modulation technique is first utilized for downlink direction, and then the downlink signal is re-modulated for the uplink direction using intensity modulation technique of on-off keying (OOK) with a data rate of 10 Gbit/s per channel. An effective colorless WDM-PON full duplex transmission system is achieved for the data rate of 10 Gbit/s per channel with a channel spacing of 60 GHz over the distance of 25 km with low power penalty.
