This paper proposes a kind of displaced thermal states (DTS) and explores how this kind of optical field emerges using the entangled state representation. The results show that the DTS can be generated by a coherent state passing through a diffusion channel with the diffusion coefficient ϰ only when there exists ϰt=eℏν/kBT−1−1. Using the entangled state representation of Wigner operator and some formulae related to the two-variable Hermite polynomials, the Wigner function of the squeezed pair coherent state (SPCS) and its two marginal distributions are derived. Based on the entangled Husimi operator introduced by Fan et al. (Phys. Lett. A 358:203, ) and the Weyl ordering invariance under similar transformations, we also obtain the Husimi function of the SPCS and its marginal distribution functions. The comparison between the two quasibability functions shows that, for the same amount of information included in two functions, the solving process of the Husimi function is simpler than that of the Wigner function. Via the Hamilton dynamical approach we have constructed Hamiltonian for the mutual inductance coupling magnetic flux qubits. We have studied the tunneling and fluctuations of a dipolar Bose–Einstein condensate in an optical lattice, it is found that there exist the tunneling and fluctuations between lattices l and l+1, l and l−1, respectively. In particular, when the optical lattice is infinitely long and the spin excitations are in the long-wavelength limit, tunneling effects disappear between lattices l and l+1, and that l and l−1, in this case the fluctuations are a constant, and the magnetic soliton appears. Mesoscopic damped double resonance mutual capacitance coupled RLC circuit is quantized by the method of damped harmonic oscillator quantization. The Hamiltonian is diagonalized by unitary transformation. The eigenenergy spectra of this circuit are given. The quantum fluctuations of the charges and current of each loop are researched in excitation state of the squeezed vacuum state, the squeezed vacuum state and in vacuum state. It is show that, the quantum fluctuations of the charges and current are related to not only circuit inherent parameter and coupled magnitude, but also quantum number of excitation, squeezed coefficients, squeezed angle and damped resistance. A class ofk-quantum nonlinear coherent states, i.e., thekeigenstates of the powersBk (k = 3) of the annihilation operatoroff-oscillators, is obtained and its completeness is investigated. An alternative method to construct them is proposed. We introduce a new kind of higher-order squeezing and sub-Poissonian distribution. The quantum statistical properties of thekstates are studied. The result shows that all of the eigenstates can be generated by a linear superposition ofkRoy-type nonlinear coherent states. These states may form a complete Hilbert space, and theM-th order [M= (n+ 1/2)k;n= 0,1, ...] squeezing effects exist in all of thekstates whenkis even. Based on Roy and Roy's work (Roy, B. and Roy, P. (2000). Journal of Optics B: Quantum Semiclass. Opt.2, 65), a new type of even and odd nonlinear coherent states (NCSs) are defined. They result from Schrödinger cat states for deformed field. Using the numerical method, we study nonclassical properties of the new even and odd NCSs. It is shown that quantum statistical properties of the new even and odd NCSs are quite different from those of the usual even and odd coherent states (CSs). It is found that the squeezing only consists in the new even NCS, and the amplitude-squared squeezing and antibunching effect appear for both new even and odd NCSs in some ranges of |β|.
