The mobile RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a new application to use mobile phone as RFID reader with a wireless technology and provides new valuable services to user by integrating RFID and ubiquitous sensor network infrastructure with mobile communication and wireless internet. However, there are an increasing number of concerns, and even some resistances, related to consumer tracking and profiling using RFID technology. Recently home intelligent service is extended to context aware and situation aware automation service by using ubiquitous technology. In this paper, we focused on user΄s context based intelligent security management for home safety application using RFID and WSN(Wireless Sensor Network). We propose a context aware home safety application model. The proposed context service support security and privacy control by using user΄s situation aware security management. One of the most promising applications of active RFID tags is electronic seal, which is an electronic device to guarantee the authenticity and integrity of freight containers and also provides physical protection like a lock. There are already many commercial electronic seal products and ongoing standardization activities such as ISO-18185 drafts. While electronic seals can provide freight containers with a high level of tamper resistance, the security problem of electronic seal itself should be solved, and a feasible solution would be to use symmetric key cryptography based primitives such as block ciphers and message authentication codes (MACs). This kind of approach has already been used in many security-related standards and it requires the implementation of pseudorandom functions (PRFs) for key derivation and authentication. In this paper, we consider secure and efficient implementation of PRFs on electronic seals and interrogators. We implement block cipher based PRFs and hash based PRFs and compare them from the viewpoint of efficiency. Since practical PRFs can be directly implemented using MACs, we consider implementation of various message authentication schemes; HMAC-MD5, HMAC-SHA1, AES-CBC-MAC, AES-CMAC and AES-XCBC-MAC. For interrogators, we design FPGA modules for these MAC algorithms since an interrogator has to guarantee high throughput to communicate with many electronic seals simultaneously. According to our analysis, AES based MACs consume smaller areas and their throughputs are significantly higher than hash based ones. For electronic seals, we implement MAC algorithms as a form of software module (C and assembly codes) over a small-scale microcontroller. Our experimental results show that AES based modules show much better performance, which coincide with the results in hardware implementation. Finally, we improve the above implementations further, where we concentrate on the optimization of AES based MACs. This paper describes the open security architecture for LBS (Location- based Services) platform ensuring interoperability among the wireless networks and various location-based application services and the functional security requirements for the LBS platform. The goal of this paper is to investigate how well the most limited wireless devices can make use of LBS security services. In this paper, we suggest security acceleration methods for high speed open LBS using XML signcryption mechanism. And proposed secure LBS security protocols allows a client to offload mobile certificate handling to the server and to enable the central administration of privacy polices. The problem of exponentiation over a finite field is to compute Ae for a field element A and a positive integer e. This problem has many useful applications in cryptography and information security. In this paper, we present an efficient exponentiation algorithm in optimal extension field (OEF) GF(pm), which uses the fact that the Frobenius map, i.e., the p-th powering operation is very efficient in OEFs. Our analysis shows that the new algorithm is twice as fast as the conventional square-and-multiply exponentiation. One of the important applications of our new algorithm is random generation of a base point for elliptic curve cryptography, which is an attractive public-key mechanism for resource-constrained devices. We present a further optimized exponentiation algorithm for this application. Our experimental results show that the new technique accelerates the generation process by factors of 1.62-6.55 over various practical elliptic curves. In this paper, we propose security mechanism for Ad-hoc OLSR protocol. We consider the security vulnerabilities for OLSR and apply one-time digital signature for lightweight authentication of the routing messages. We also propose compromised node management mechanism in which normal nodes collaborate to report malfunctioning nodes and to isolate them from network. Location-based services or LBS refers to value-added service by processing information utilizing mobile user location. For this kind of LBS, the role of security service is very important in the LBS that store and manage the location information of mobile devices and support various application services using those location information. And in all phases of these functions that include acquisition of location information, storage and management of location information, user management including authentication and information security, and management of the large-capacity location information database, safe security service must be provided.
