To develop persulfate (PS) activation for effective treatment of water containment was meaningful and important. Cuprous oxide (Cu2O) was an abundant, cheap metal-oxide material, has attracted much attention for various fields. In this work, the Cu2O was used to activate PS via the oxidative disproportionation process of electron migration. Meanwhile, the redox disproportionation process would affect the PS activation. To overcome this troublesome. Here, a Schottky junction of Ag/Cu2O composite was designed to affect electronic transmission by in-situ decorated process with biomass materials in mild condition. The Ag/Cu2O/PS exhibited highly efficient activity for tetracycline (TC) degradation by PS activation, the 95% of TC was removed within 30 min, which was 1.84 times higher than Cu2O/PS system. Besides, the response surface methodology (RSM) was used to determine the relationship of pH values, TC concentration and PS dosage for TC degradation. The optimal pH value, TC concentration and PS dosage was selected as 7.0, 30 mg/L and 300 mg/L, respectively. The trapping experiments demonstrated the ‧OH and SO4.− radicals took part in the degradation process and the relative contribution of each radial was calculated. Vehicular platoons are among the most advanced driving assistance systems that may generate considerable fuel savings and increase traffic efficiency. However, communication between vehicles in a platoon is always vulnerable to eavesdropping due to the broadcast nature of wireless channels. To address this issue, we investigate security issues from the physical layer perspective for multi-hop vehicular platooning. The dynamic shielding secured transmission scheme is proposed to guarantee the confidential transmission of private information. Specifically, the neighboring vehicles can alternately act as friendly shielders, which transmit jamming signals to interfere with the eavesdroppers without knowing the channel state information, and thus the secrecy capacity would increase. The mathematical derivation of secrecy capacity is obtained for performance analysis. Meanwhile, the numerical results verify the properties, efficiency, and adaptability of the proposed scheme. Non-biodegradable and toxic photocatalysts pose as secondary threats to the environmental security. In this work, non-toxic biocomposites were prepared using natural bamboo cellulose fibers (CF), polyvinyl alcohols (PVAs), BiVO4, and carbon dots (CDs) from biomaterials. Thereafter, their optical properties, chemical characterizations, and photocatalytic performances were evaluated. The novel BiVO4(-)CF@CDs(-)PVA composites were prepared via the combined implementation of in situ and impregnation methods. The optical properties revealed that the CDs and fibers increased the range and intensity of light absorption. The PVAs were used as the shield and dispersant to enhance stability because they have numerous chemical groups. In view of the various possible paths of electron migration, the enhanced photocatalytic activity of BiVO4(-)CF@CDs(-)PVA composites for tetracycline degradation was observed under visible light illumination. The origins of the structure, morphology, and optical mechanism in the enhancement of the photocatalytic ability of BiVO4(-)CF@CDs(-)PVA composites were discussed and demonstrated. The fluorescence detection of environmental pollution residues is hugely significant; thus, the improvements in sensitivity and selectivity are still a great task. In this work, a novel molecularly imprinted fluorescence sensor (CDs&ZIF-8@MIPs) with a core–shell structure was prepared for the highly sensitive and selective quantification of malachite green (MG). The high sensitivity was contributed from carbon dots (CDs) as the fluorescence materials and ZIF-8 nanoparticles served as the support materials to ameliorate the dispersibility of CDs. The high selectivity is mainly derived from fabricating thin molecular imprinting polymers in ZIF-8 surfaces. Under the optimum conditions, CDs&ZIF-8@MIPs displayed rapid reaction time (2.0 min), lower detection limit (2.93 nM) with the concentration linear range of 20–180 nM and high selectivity to MG among MG analogs. Importantly, the developed monitoring method was successfully applied to MG determination with the satisfactory recoveries in environmental water samples. Novel molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) based on the technique of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) were successfully prepared. Firstly, ZnO nanorods were fabricated with Ag by reduction of Ag on the surface of the ZnO nanorods. Then, ZnO/Ag heterostructures were used as the substrate, rhodamine 6G was used as the template molecule, acrylamide was used as the functional monomer, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate was used as the cross-linker, and 2,2′-azobis(2-methylpropionitrile) was used as the initiator to prepare the ZnO/Ag MIPs (ZOA-MIPs). Through characterization analysis, it was proved that the novel ZOA-MIPs exhibited excellent SERS properties and selectivity. Under the optimal conditions, there was a good linear relationship ( R = 0.996) between the Raman signal (at 1654 cm) and the concentration of the templates, and the detection limit was 10 mol L. It was also proved that the ZOA-MIPs had the property of self-cleaning, resulting in good reusability. It is envisaged that the sensitivity of SERS coupled with the selectivity of MIPs could result in a promising chemosensor for practical applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Fifteen polymorphic microsatellite loci of the yellow-breasted Bunting were isolated and evaluated with a sample of 31 individuals collected from Guangzhou, China. The allele number of these polymorphic markers ranged from 4 to 11 per locus, with the average of 6.588. Observed heterozygosity varied from 0.3226 to 0.9333 with an average of 0.5824, while expected values for these loci ranged from 0.4775 to 0.8683 with an average of 0.6828. Exact tests for HWE revealed that 3 of 15 loci (HXW6, HXW18 and HXW45) significantly deviated from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium after Bonferroni correction ( P < 0.0031). The Water monitor ( Varanus salvator) is the second largest of all the monitor lizards of the world, after the Komodo dragon. It was listed in CITES Appendix II as an endangered species. Investigation of genetic variation for Varanus salvator can help to conserve and improve this endangered monitor salvator. Here, sixteen microsatellite loci were developed and twelve polymorphic loci were used to investigate the genetic variation on 30 wild individuals. The number of alleles per locus ranged from 2 to 15, with the average of 6,000. The observed and expected heterozygosity values varied from 0.2333 to 0.9000 and 0.2096 to 0.9203, respectively. Only one locus (YBJX28) significantly deviated from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium after Bonferroni correction. No significant linkage disequilibrium was detected. Eighteen novel microsatellite loci were isolated from Gekko gecko with a partial genomic library enriched for tandem repeat sequences of (CA). Polymorphism and genetic evaluation were investigated for these markers in 22 wild G. gecko individuals collected from Guangzhou Forest Police Bureau of China. Seventeen polymorphic loci were observed and the allele number ranged from 5 to 10 per locus, with the average of 7.9. The observed and expected heterozygosity varied from 0.4500 to 0.6818 and 0.7812 to 0.9088, respectively. The average polymorphism information content of this population was 0.8265, which showed that the wild G. gecko population had a high level of genetic variability. Only two loci significantly deviated from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium after Bonferroni correction. No significant linkage disequilibrium was detected.
