The epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) process is closely linked to metastasis of breast cancer. This article elucidates the role of Y-box binding protein-1 (YB-1) on the migration and invasion of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells by regulating EMT, and the related mechanism. The expression data of YB-1 and miR-509-3-5p in TNBC samples and normal samples were downloaded from the GEO database. The proliferation, migration, invasion, and EMT of TNBC cells were detected by CCK-8 assay, colony formation assay, wound-healing assay, transwell assay, and immunoblotting analyses. The targeted binding of YB-1 and miR-509-3-5p was validated by luciferase reporter experiment. A xenograft mouse model was constructed to investigate the influence of the miR-509-3-5p/YB-1 axis on TNBC tumor growth in vivo. YB-1 was overexpressed, while miR-509-3-5p was underexpressed in TNBC tumor tissues and various cell lines. Silencing YB-1 depressed cell viability, proliferation, motility, and EMT in vitro, and miR-509-3-5p upregulation exerted the same effects. YB-1 was targeted by miR-509-3-5p. The suppressive effects on the phenotypes of TNBC cells caused by overexpressed miR-509-3-5p were attenuated by YB-1 upregulation. In addition, miR-509-3-5p overexpression restrained TNBC tumor growth and downregulated the YB-1-mediated EMT process in vivo. As computer image processing and digital technologies advance, creating an efficient method for classifying sports images is crucial for the rapid retrieval and management of large image datasets. Traditional manual methods for classifying sports images are impractical for large-scale data and often inaccurate when distinguishing similar images. This paper introduces an SE module that adaptively adjusts the weights of input feature mapping channels, and a Res module that excels in deep feature extraction, preventing gradient vanishing, multi-scale processing, and enhancing generalization in image recognition. Through extensive experimentation on network structure adjustments, the SE-RES-CNN neural network model is applied to sports image classification. The model is trained on a sports image classification dataset from Kaggle, alongside VGG-16 and ResNet50 models. Training results show that the proposed SE-RES-CNN model improves classification accuracy by approximately 5% compared to VGG-16 and ResNet50 models. Testing revealed that the SE-RES-CNN model classifies 100 out of 500 sports images in 6 s, achieving an accuracy rate of up to 98% and a single prediction time of 0.012 s. Longitudinal surface cracks are prevalent in the continuous casting of hypo-peritectic beam blanks, primarily related to multiphysics non-uniformity (multi-phase field, flow field, temperature field) within the mold. Therefore, multi-phase and coupled flow-thermal models were constructed to investigate the non-uniform multiphysics characteristics in the beam blank mold with a single nozzle and its effect on the formation of longitudinal cracks. First, the three-phase flow model reveals significant unevenness slag distribution along the web width, positively correlated to surface velocity of the molten steel. Subsequently, considering the impact of the solidification shell, surface velocity decreases nonlinearly with increasing immersion depth, influenced by web vortex position in the X-direction, which is also influenced by mold curvature, and interaction between web and side vortexes. Furthermore, the temperature field distribution inside the mold is non-uniform. Under the effect of the single-web recirculation flow, the temperature near the meniscus at the NN (position near the nozzle) side of the web is lower than that at the FN (position far away from the nozzle) side, resulting in more intensive initial cooling at this position. Meanwhile, a reheating zone exists at the mold exit of the NN side. Statistical analysis revealed that the absolute values of Spearman coefficient between the non-uniformity of shell thickness and the temperature and flow velocity of the molten steel exceed 0.6, which is related to the depth of the web vortex. Finally, from the perspective of the influence of SEN's immersion depth on multiphysics, the high surface velocity of the steel, strong cooling near the meniscus, and non-uniform shell thickness at the mold exit can be relieved with an immersion depth of 75 mm. The plant experiment confirmed that increasing the immersion depth from 65 to 75 mm leads to a relative reduction of 39 and 43 pct in the longitudinal cracks ratio for strands and rolled products, respectively. Exploration of molybdenum complexes as homogeneous hydrogenation catalysts has garnered significant attention, but hydrogenation of unactivated olefins under mild conditions are scarce. Here, we report the synthesis of a molybdenum complex, [Cp*Mo(Ph2PC6H4S−CH = CH2)(Py)]+ (2), which exhibits intriguing reactivity toward C2H2 and H2 under ambient pressure. This vinylthioether complex showcases efficient catalytic activity in the hydrogenation of various aromatic and aliphatic alkenes, demonstrating a broad substrate scope without the need for any additives. The catalytic pathway involves an uncommon oxidative addition of H2 to the cationic Mo(II) center, resulting in a Mo(IV) dihydride intermediate. Moreover, complex 2 also shows catalytic activity toward C2H2, leading to the production of polyacetylene and the extension of the vinylthioether ligand into a pendant triene chain. For the corrugated web steel beam, the web-to-flange welded detail by geometric discontinuity plays a vital role of the stress concentration-related fatigue fracture and failure mechanism. A study of the influences of the geometries of the crack-arrest hole on the stress intensity factor and related fracture behavior is presented in this research. The source of local stress concentration is investigated through finite element modeling and compared against experimentally measured strain results first to confirm the accuracy of analysis. Additional flank-holes symmetrically distributed on both sides of the crack tip are also considered for further reducing the crack driving force. The study shows that the introduction of the additional flank-hole is beneficial for further reduction of the stress concentration near the crack tip. Moreover, the inside of the crack-arrest hole is more efficient than the outside ones in reducing the stress intensity factor, while the use of bigger hole is recommended for the halting of short crack with the crack tip away from the edge of the flange. The further arrangement of the additional flank-hole within the crack seam range is beneficial in better reduction of the stress intensity factor for the models with the crack-arrest holes only. Background: Hepatic artery intervention combined with immunotarget therapy exerts excellent disease control and prolongs survival. However, the arrangement of hepatic artery intervention and systemic therapy confuses clinical decisions. Methods: A two-center, retrospective clinical study was approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee. From December 2018 to February 2022, patients with Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage C (BCLC-C) hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who received targeted therapy plus PD-1 inhibitors with or without hepatic artery intervention were included. According to the treatment mode, the patients were assigned to three groups: initial hepatic artery intervention combined with immunotarget therapy, immunotarget therapy sequential hepatic artery interventional therapy, and immunotarget therapy only. The survival, response, and adverse events were compared among the three groups. Subgroup analysis and univariate and multivariate prognostic analyses were also evaluated. Results: The median follow-up time was 18.3 months (95% CI 16.7 to 20.0 months). A total of 163 patients with BCLC-C stage HCC were assigned to three groups: initial hepatic artery intervention plus PD-1 inhibitors plus targeted therapy (HPT, n = 66), PD-1 inhibitors plus targeted therapy followed by hepatic artery intervention (PTH, n = 56) and PD-1 inhibitors plus targeted therapy (PT, n = 41). The median progression-free survival was 8.37 months (95% CI 6.35–10.39) with HPT versus 5.3 months (95% CI 3.48–7.12) with PTH versus 6.33 months (95% CI 3.75–8.92) with PT. The progression-free survival of the HPT group was better than that of the PTH group (HR 0.66, 95% CI 0.45–0.97, p = 0.027) and PT group (HR 0.60, 95% CI 0.39–0.92, p = 0.01). The median overall survival was 14.6 months (95% CI 10.6–18.7) with HPT, 10.0 months (95% CI 8.2–11.8) with PTH and 11.3 months (95% CI 8.3–14.3) with PT. The 1-year overall survival (OS) rates in the HPT, PTH and PT groups were 50%, 33.9%, and 34.1%, respectively. Overall survival was significantly longer in the HTP group than in the PT group (HR 0.60, 95% CI 0.361–0.996, p = 0.032). Compared with the PTH group, the overall survival of the HTP group had a prolonged survival trend (HR 0.66, 95% CI 0.416–1.032, p = 0.059). All treatment modalities were deemed equally safe. Multivariate analysis suggested that the mode of treatment, albumin level, Child‒Pugh grade and hepatectomy history were independent prognostic factors for BCLC-C HCC patients. Conclusions: Initial hepatic artery intervention combined with immunotarget therapy gained survival benefits with tolerable side effects compared with immunotarget sequential hepatic artery intervention and immunotarget therapy alone. Bolted sphere joint assembly has been increasingly used in long-span spatial structures, and it is challenging to maintain good structural damage resistance of screw threaded parts subjected to stress concentration. In this paper, an experiment-based finite element modeling and fracture mechanical theory are applied to analyze the critical stress and stress intensity factor (SIF) for the joint assembly with crack propagation in screw threads. Accordingly, an in-plane quasi-static loading test was conducted to replicate the failure of the high-strength bolt in a bolted spherical joint. A typical fracture due to screw threads and its related fracture surface morphology is observed, and a comparison of cross-sectional strain responses is discussed. The developed finite element model is validated against experimental results in terms of moment–rotation response and the maximum stress at the root of the first internal thread of the high-strength bolt outside the junction with the screw thread. The comparison of the screw thread-related parameters for the simulation illustrates that the SIF is not sensitive to the thread root radius. Rather, the increased thread flank angle and the increased pitch are recommended for the joint assembly to achieve good fracture resistance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To explore the clinicopathological characteristics, survival outcomes, and prognosis of very young gastric cancer (GC). From January 1, 2011 to January 1, 2021, GC patients under 30 years old treated in three tertiary hospitals were enrolled. Clinicopathological characteristics were summarized, prognostic factors and survival outcomes including overall survival (OS), disease-free survival (DFS), and progression-free survival (PFS) were retrospectively analyzed. One hundred patients were finally included, with a median age of 23 years.73 (73.0%) were female. Most patients had initial symptoms of abdominal pain (66.0%). The most common tumor locations were gastric antrum (38.0%) and gastric body (37.0%). The main histological types were diffuse (81.0%) and poorly differentiated (91.0%). Most patients presented with stage III–IV disease (82.0%) at diagnosis and the common sites of metastasis were ovary (39.5%) and peritoneum (27.6%). The mOS of the whole group was 23.3 months (95% CI 17.2–29.4). Moreover, the mOS of patients at stage I–II was not reached. The mOS of patients at stage III and stage IV was 40.6 months (95% CI 10.2–70.9) and 10.3 months (95% CI 8.9–11.6), respectively. The mDFS of stage I–III patients was 28.5 months (95% CI 14.7–42.3), and the mPFS of the metastatic patients was 4.5 months (95% CI 4.0–5.0). TNM stage (P = 0.005) and radical surgery (P = 0.001) were independent prognostic factors of overall survival. The very young GC were predominantly female, diffuse type, and advanced diagnosis. Under the current background of high-speed continuous casting, it is essential to investigate the effect of casting speed on the stability of the solidification structure and quality of billets. In this paper, a three-dimensional transient numerical model was established to simulate the continuous casting process, and the model was verified through the temperature measurement data and the actual solidification structure characteristics of billets. On this basis, the effect of casting speed on columnar to equiaxed transition (CET) position fluctuation along the casting direction was investigated, and the corresponding control measures of CET position fluctuation were presented. The internal quality stability of billets will not always deteriorate with the increase of the casting speed, and there is an optimal casting speed. Meanwhile, the casting speed can affect the fluctuation of the heat transfer by changing the molten steel convection fluctuation in billets, and finally, resulting in the fluctuation of CET position and central quality along the casting direction. Under a certain specific water amount, the fluctuation of liquid convection and heat transfer at the CET region is relatively decreased, and the solidification structure along the casting direction is more uniform when the casting speed is controlled in the intermediate range. During the high-speed continuous casting process, the cooling intensity of the secondary cooling can be appropriately increased, when the optimal casting speed is undeterminable, to reduce the CET fluctuation and improve the uniformity of the billets central quality. This paper can provide methods and theoretical references for determining the optimal casting speed and improving the internal quality of billets under the background of high-speed continuous casting. Some studies have demonstrated that precipitation is an important risk factor of dengue epidemics. However, current studies mostly focused on a single precipitation variable, and few studies focused on the impact of precipitation patterns on dengue epidemics. This study aims to explore optimal precipitation patterns for dengue epidemics. Weekly dengue case counts and meteorological data from 2006 to 2018 in Guangzhou of China were collected. A generalized additive model with Poisson distribution was used to investigate the association between precipitation patterns and dengue. Precipitation patterns were defined as the combinations of three weekly precipitation variables: accumulative precipitation (Pre_A), the number of days with light or moderate precipitation (Pre_LMD), and the coefficient of precipitation variation (Pre_CV). We explored to identify optimal precipitation patterns for dengue epidemics. With a lead time of 10 weeks, minimum temperature, relative humidity, Pre_A, and Pre_LMD were positively associated with dengue, while Pre_CV was negatively associated with dengue. A precipitation pattern with Pre_A of 20.67–55.50 mm per week, Pre_LMD of 3–4 days per week, and Pre_CV less than 1.41 per week might be an optimal precipitation pattern for dengue epidemics in Guangzhou. The spall behaviors of high-purity copper samples with different heat treatment histories were investigated using optical microscopy and X-ray computer tomography (XRCT). The spall samples were obtained by sliding detonation experiments at low pressures (2 to 4 GPa). It was found that the spall planes created by sliding detonation in this experiment are similar to the spall planes created by plate impact test, except for more secondary damage residual around the main spall plane. The results of damage degree, the shape, and the distributions of voids obtained by the means of metallography (2D) and XRCT (3D) statistics were consistent. For similar microstructure, the maximum damage degree and damage zone width increase with increasing shock stress. Whereas the ranges of voids distribution parallel to the shock stress direction decreases with the increasing of shock stress. For the shock stress is similar, the shape of voids in annealed samples are closed to spheres, their mean flatness is 0.51. The voids in samples with thermo-mechanical treatment histories are sheet like with mean flatness 0.16. The difference in grain size (40 and 9 μm) may be the main reason of such difference. By using laser molecular beam epitaxy (L-MBE), atomic scale epitaxid growth of BaTiO3(BTO) thin films on SrTiO3 (STO) substrates is achieved. Measurements of reflection high energy electron diffraction (RHEED), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy reveal that the BTO films are c-axis oriented single crystals with smooth surface. The multi-layer ferroelectric/superconducting heterostructures are also prepared and the ferroelectric properties of BTO films are studied. Parameter identification of transmission lines plays a crucial role in power systems, and many deep learning methods have been continuously applied to this domain. However, these methods are highly sensitive to data corruption, and as the scale of the power grid continues to expand, the model’s solving accuracy deteriorates. In response to these challenges, this paper introduces a multi-scale graph attention network (UMGAN) that leverages the spatial structural characteristics of the power grid. In order to enable the model to fully exploit the correlations between power grid branches and learn more precise node feature representations, we have designed a simplified graph neural network convolution kernel, creating a lighter U-shaped structure for multi-scale sampling of power grid data. Additionally, an attention layer has been incorporated at skip connections to reduce the impact of data corruption. Furthermore, for the multi-task learning module, we have devised a multi-task loss function tailored for power grid parameter identification tasks. This loss function effectively balances multiple objectives, allowing simultaneous identification of multiple parameters. Experimental results demonstrate that the multi-scale graph attention network proposed in this paper outperforms other machine learning and deep learning methods, providing more accurate predictions of power grid branch parameters.
