A facile strategy for preparing Ov clusters enriched TiO2 (Ovc-TiO2) is developed via pre-hydroxylation-assisted vacuum calcination. The occurrence of Ov clusters is verified by the fluorine-occupied strategy. With the Pt deposition, Ovc-TiO2/Pt exhibits superior photocatalytic performance for CO oxidation at low Pt loading amounts, significantly better than that of Ov-TiO2/Pt. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Two Co(II)-based coordination polymers (CPs) with the molecular formulae of [Co4(5-mtz)4(l-mal)2(H2O)2]n (1, 5-mtz = 5-methyltetrazole, L-mal = L-malic acid) and {[Co8(S-mal)4(bptc)(H2O)12]·0.5H4bptc·7.5H2O}n (2, S-mal = S-malic acid, H4bptc = biphenyl-3,3′,5,5′-tetracarboxylic acid) were synthesized under a hydrothermal or solvothermal surrounding. The prepared two complexes have been determined through the powder and single crystal X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric (TG) analyses and IR spectroscopy. To prevent the hypotension during surgery after injected with anesthetic, their biological activity was estimated in this research. The CCK-8 (Cell Counting Kit-8) assay was performed to measure the viability of the HUVEC cells after compounds treatment. The relative expression of the α receptor was evaluated by real time RT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction). Besides, the blood pressure was measured as well. The article titled "Structural Diversity of Co(II) Coordination Polymers: Treatment Activity on Hypotension during Surgery by Blocking α Receptor on Peripheral Blood Vessels" has been retracted by the Editor-in-Chief and the Publisher of the Journal of Cluster Science. The retraction was prompted by evidence of systematic manipulation of the publication process, including issues with citations, phrasing, figures, and ethics approval statements. The authors have not responded to correspondence regarding the retraction. Springer Nature, the publisher, remains neutral in regards to jurisdictional claims and institutional affiliations. Ruxolitinib is a promising option for treating steroid-refractory acute graft-versus-host disease (SR-aGVHD) after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). In this study, we describe ruxolitinib treatment for SR-aGVHD in HSCT patients with Epstein-Barr virus-associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (EBV-HLH) to evaluate its effectiveness. We evaluated the outcomes of 12 patients who received ruxolitinib for SR-aGVHD between January 2017 and March 2019. Of the 12 patients who received ruxolitinib, 7 patients achieved a complete response (CR), 3 had a partial response (PR), and 2 experienced treatment failure (TF). OS and CR rates were 83.3% and 58.3%, respectively. Moreover, CR was achieved by the six patients who had aGVHD with skin involvement. The mean time of steroid application in the patients who received ruxolitinib was 28.1 days. Median survival after HSCT was 64.6 weeks. The adverse effects of ruxolitinib included grades 3 to 4 neutropenia (n = 7) and grades 3 to 4 thrombocytopenia (n = 6). Cytomegalovirus reactivation was observed in three patients. A high rate of CR and short steroid application time of ruxolitinib as a salvage treatment were observed in HSCT patients with EBV-HLH. Consequently, from this study, it was determined that ruxolitinib is an optimal choice to treat SR-aGVHD in patients with EBV-HLH. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper mainly covers the wireless video intelligent car made of hardware and the design of software programming. It uses the idea of modularization in the design of hardware, STC12C5A60S2 single-chip microcomputer as the master control chip, and STC89C52RC MCU as the auxiliary control chip. The peripheral circuit modules include Wi-Fi camera monitoring HC-06 module, serial communication module, Bluetooth GPS positioning module, LCD12864 module, DC deceleration motor and L298N driver module, voice BY8301-16 p playback module, TTP223 touch sensor module, the infrared sensor of obstacle avoidance module, active buzzer alarm module, lighting module, power supply circuit, reset circuit, etc. Software is designed with the Keil-Vision5 write master program and the auxiliary control chip. Bluetooth intellectual control App on the Android mobile phone is adopted to write PC serial port to send data to the PC installation SYSM—Monitor monitoring software view and to check the state of the smart car and then the data is displayed on the screen through LCD12864. Wireless video intelligent car adopts modular design, and each modules are independent, but they also connected with each other. Operator can select button on Android phones (forward, backward, turn left, turn right, music playback, far and near light, anti-theft alarm and other key) to control the smart car, smart car Wi-Fi camera, and at the same time, feeds back its status and data on the LCD12864 LCD screen (time, longitude, latitude, altitude) transmitted to a PC SYSM—monitoring software of the Monitor screen, which is convenient for operating personnel to acquire visual images and control the smart car. In addition, the intelligent car also bears the anti-theft alarm function. In this paper we present a blind audio watermarking algorithm based on the vector norm and the logarithmic quantization index modulation (LQIM) in the wavelet domain, integrating the robustness of the vector norm with the imperceptibility of the logarithmic quantization index modulation based on μ-Law (or mu-Law) companding. Firstly μ-Law companding is adopted to transform the vector norm of the segmented wavelet approximation components of the original audio signal. And then a binary image scrambled by the chaotic sequence as watermark is embedded in the transformed domain with a uniform quantization scheme. Experimental results demonstrate that even if the capacity of the proposed algorithm is high, up to 102.4 bps, this algorithm can still maintain a high quality of the audio signal, and achieve a better performance, such as imperceptibility, robustness and complexity in comparison with the uniform quantization based algorithms against common attacks. Thermoplastic polyurethane, based on 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate and polyether polyol, was degraded by glycol and ethanolamine at 170 °C. Optimum conditions for the glycolysis of thermoplastic polyurethane were investigated by adjusting the ratio of polymer to degradation reagent, glycol to ethanolamine as well as the reaction temperature. The degradation reaction was conducted under nitrogen atmosphere and accelerated by catalysts such as lithium acetate, which was evidenced by lowering the degradation temperature as well as the amounts of degradation reagent. The decomposition products were completely separated into two layers. The upper liquid layer was a polyether polyol, which was characterized by gel permeation chromatography (GPC), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).
