Stock forecasting research, which aims to predict the future price movement of stocks, has been the focus of investors and scholars. This is important for practical applications related to human-centric computing and information sciences. Previous research has generally only considered market information other than the relationship between stocks, and it is challenging to learn a better representation of stock characteristics by considering the relationship between stocks. In the existing methods of combining market information with stock relationship modeling, most of them use predefined industry relationships to construct stock relationship diagrams, which inevitably ignores the potential interactions between stocks, especially the hidden relationships between stock groups. To this end, a new dual-graph attention model (MF-DAT) based on multisource information fusion is designed. Specifically, first, multiple features are fused by the LMF module, then the long-term and short-term state characteristics of stocks are learned through the first layer of the graph attention layer, and finally the node representation of the stock relationship network constructed by the mining stock cluster structure through community detection is updated. Our model takes into account both stock time-series information and potential relationships between stocks. Experiments on the S &P 500 and NASDAQ datasets show that our MF-DAT has better performance than the 8 SOTA methods that are now more popular. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

There is a long-standing debate about the magnitude of the contribution of gene-environment interactions to phenotypic variations of complex traits owing to the low statistical power and few reported interactions to date. To address this issue, the Gene-Lifestyle Interactions Working Group within the Cohorts for Heart and Aging Research in Genetic Epidemiology Consortium has been spearheading efforts to investigate G × E in large and diverse samples through meta-analysis. Here, we present a powerful new approach to screen for interactions across the genome, an approach that shares substantial similarity to the Mendelian randomization framework. We identify and confirm 5 loci (6 independent signals) interacted with either cigarette smoking or alcohol consumption for serum lipids, and empirically demonstrate that interaction and mediation are the major contributors to genetic effect size heterogeneity across populations. The estimated lower bound of the interaction and environmentally mediated heritability is significant (P < 0.02) for low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglycerides in Cross-Population data. Our study improves the understanding of the genetic architecture and environmental contributions to complex traits. Purpose: To evaluate the combination of 90Y radioembolization (Y90) and drug-eluting bead irinotecan (DEBIRI) microspheres in the VX2 rabbit model. Materials and Methods: An initial dose finding study was performed in 6 White New Zealand rabbits to identify a therapeutic but subcurative dose of Y90. In total, 29 rabbits were used in four groups: Y90 treatment (n = 8), DEBIRI treatment (n = 6), Y90 + DEBIRI treatment (n = 7), and an untreated control group (n = 8). Hepatic toxicity was evaluated at baseline, 24 h, 72 h, 1 week, and 2 weeks. MRI tumor volume (TV) and enhancing tumor volume were assessed baseline and 2 weeks. Tumor area and necrosis were evaluated on H&E for pathology. Results: Infused activities of 84.0–94.4 MBq (corresponding to 55.1–72.7 Gy) were selected based on the initial dose finding study. Infusion of DEBIRI after Y90 was technically feasible in all cases (7/7). Overall, 21/29 animals survived to 2 weeks, and the remaining animals had extrahepatic disease on necropsy. Liver transaminases were elevated with Y90, DEBIRI, and Y90 + DEBIRI compared to control at 24 h, 72 h, and 1 week post-treatment and returned to baseline by 2 weeks. By TV, Y90 + DEBIRI was the only treatment to show statistically significant reduction at 2 weeks compared to the control group (p = 0.012). The change in tumor volume (week 2—baseline) for both Y90 + DEBIRI versus control (p = 0.002) and Y90 versus control (p = 0.014) was significantly decreased. There were no statistically significant differences among groups on pathology. Conclusion: Intra-arterial Y90 + DEBIRI was safe and demonstrated enhanced antitumor activity in rabbit VX2 tumors. Aims: To investigate laboratory parameters as predictors of overall survival (OS) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with radioembolization and develop/validate a scoring system. Methods: With IRB approval, we included all patients with baseline alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) > 100 ng/dL from our prospectively acquired HCC radioembolization database. Neutrophil–lymphocyte ratio, albumin–bilirubin (ALBI), and AFP were measured at baseline and at 1-, 3-, and 6-month post-radioembolization Landmarks. OS was assessed from these Landmarks. Univariate/multivariate analyses were performed to evaluate OS predictability of these parameters. Baseline Imaging, Laboratory, and Combination scoring systems were developed. Developing/validating groups were created to investigate/validate the score's OS predictability. Time-dependent receiver operating characteristics (ROC) were evaluated. Patients were stratified into groups I, II, and III by using 25th and 75th percentile cutoffs according to change in Laboratory Score from baseline. Results: 345/401 (86%), 238/401 (59%), and 167/401 (42%) patients had laboratory parameters available at the 1-, 3-, and 6-month Landmarks, respectively. ALBI and AFP were significant OS prognosticators at all Landmarks. The Laboratory Score [ALBI + (0.3 × LnAFP)] was developed/internally validated to predict OS from these Landmarks. Areas under the curve of time-dependent ROCs of the Baseline Imaging vs. Laboratory scores in predicting patient OS post 3 and 6 months Landmarks were 0.56 versus 0.82 and 0.57 versus 0.77, respectively. OS differences in groups I, II, and III according to change in Laboratory Score from baseline were significant (p < 0.001). Conclusions: Post-radioembolization AFP and ALBI scores were significant OS prognosticators. Purpose: To determine the correlation of pre-procedural and imaging characteristics with lung shunt fraction (LSF) measured by technetium-99 m macroaggregated albumin (99mTc-MAA) scan in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods: A retrospective study was conducted of 428 subjects with hepatocellular carcinoma from 2004 to 2011 assessed for lung shunting by 99mTc-MAA scan. Baseline characteristics included age, gender, ethnicity, tumor burden, maximum dimension, number of lesions, presence of extrahepatic metastases, macrovascular (hepatic and portal vein) invasion, ascites on imaging, laboratory values, and alpha-fetoprotein (AFP). Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed. Receiver operating characteristic curves were used to obtain sensitivity (SN), specificity (SP), and positive likelihood ratios (LR+) of characteristics for low LSF (LSF <10%) and high LSF (LSF >20%).Results: Statistically significant (p < 0.05) independent indicators of low LSF included bilirubin <1.45 mg/dL (SN = 49.5%, SP = 69.1%, LR+ = 1.60), maximum tumor size <7.15 cm (SN = 66.0%, SP = 75.9%, LR+ = 2.74), AFP ≤200 ng/mL (SN = 64.6%, SP = 65.0%, LR+ = 1.85), and absent macrovascular invasion (SN = 73.9%, SP = 64.9%, LR+ = 2.11). Independent indicators of high LSF included albumin <2.65 g/dL (SN = 64.3%, SP = 64.1%, LR+ = 1.79) and macrovascular invasion (SN = 74.4%, SP = 67.4%, LR+ = 2.28). Since these factors all have LR+ between 2 and 5, they only reflect slight increase in LSF predictivity.Conclusion: Serum AFP, albumin, bilirubin, and portal/hepatic vein invasion on cross-sectional imaging are statistically significant but weak clinical indicators of LSF, as shown by low SN, SP, and LR+ for clinically relevant cutoff LSF values.
