1. Cisplatin, 5-Fluorouracil + Leucovorin and Vindesine, in non-small cell lung cancer : a phase II study

Vindesine (VDS) and 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) administered by continuous infusion have shown an increased therapeutic index in many solid malignancies. On the basis of our encouraging results obtained by the association of Cisplatin (CDDP, bolus) and VDS with 5-FU by continuous infusion, in unresectable non small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) [1], we tested VDS and 5-FU by continuous infusion in combination with CDDP and high doses of leucovorinin in order to enhance the anti tumoral effect of 5-FU [2].
