Abstract
Abstracts of papers presented at the 2010 meeting of the International Society of the History of the Neurosciences are presented, including ones on: neurology and medical care in late-19th-century Spain; similarities in symptoms of motor neuron disease and certain kinds of Parkinson's disease; ancient satires of phrenology; and others.
Information about several papers discussed at a symposium of the Society of British Neurological Surgeons. The proceedings include various topics such as the impact of pre-existing degenerative spondylolisthesis on laminectomy for lumbar canal stenosis, spinal dural arterio-venous fistula, and porous coated motion artificial cervical disk replacement. The objective, design, outcome measures, results, and conclusion of these studies are provided.
