Traffic flow prediction is an essential part of the intelligent transport system. This is the accurate estimation of traffic flow in a given region at a particular interval of time in the future. The study of traffic forecasting is useful in mitigating congestion and make safer and cost-efficient travel. While traditional models use shallow networks, there has been an exponential growth in the number of vehicles in recent times and these traditional machine learning models fail to work in current scenarios. In our paper, we review some of the latest works in deep learning for traffic flow prediction. Many deep learning architectures include Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), Long ShortTerm Memory (LSTM), Restricted Boltzmann Machines (RBM), and Stacked Auto Encoder (SAE). These deep learning models use multiple layers to extract higher level of features from raw input progressively. The latest deep learning models developed to tackle this very problem are reviewed and due to the complexity of transport networks, this review gives the reader information about how various factors influence these models and what models work best in different scenarios. CTCF-mediated chromatin interactions influence organization and function of mammalian genome in diverse ways. We analyzed the interactions among CTCF binding sites (CBS) at the murine TCRb locus to discern the role of CTCFmediated interactions in the regulation of transcription and VDJ recombination. Chromosome conformation capture analysis revealed thymocyte-specific long-range intrachromosomal interactions among various CBS across the locus that were relevant for defining the limit of the enhancer Eb-regulated recombination center (RC) and for facilitating the spatial proximity of TCRb variable (V) gene segments to the RC. Ectopic CTCF binding in the RC region, effected via genetic manipulation, altered CBS-directed chromatin loops, interfered with RC establishment, and reduced the spatial proximity of the RC with Trbv segments. Changes in chromatin loop organization by ectopic CTCF binding were relatively modest but influenced transcription and VDJ recombination dramatically. Besides revealing the importance of CTCF-mediated chromatin organization for TCRb regulation, the observed chromatin loops were consistent with the emerging idea that CBS orientations influence chromatin loop organization and underscored the importance of CBS orientations for defining chromatin architecture that supports VDJ recombination. Further, our study suggests that in addition to mediating long-range chromatin interactions, CTCF influences intricate configuration of chromatin loops that govern functional interactions between elements. Noble metal quantum clusters (NMQCs) are the missing link between isolated noble metal atoms and nanoparticles. NMQCs are sub-nanometer core sized clusters composed of a group of atoms, most often luminescent in the visible region, and possess intriguing photo-physical and chemical properties. A trend is observed in the use of ligands, ranging from phosphines to functional proteins, for the synthesis of NMQCs in the liquid phase. In this review, we briefly overview recent advancements in the synthesis of protein protected NMQCs with special emphasis on their structural and photo-physical properties. In view of the protein protection, coupled with direct synthesis and easy functionalization, this hybrid QC-protein system is expected to have numerous optical and bioimaging applications in the future, pointers in this direction are visible in the literature. The migration of chromosomes during mitosis is mediated primarily by kinesins that bind to the chromosomes and move along the microtubules, exerting pulling and pushing forces on the centrosomes. We report that a DNA replication protein, Sld5, localizes to the centrosomes, resisting the microtubular pulling forces experienced during chromosome congression. In the absence of Sld5, centriolar satellites, which normally cluster around the centrosomes, are dissipated throughout the cytoplasm, resulting in the loss of their known function of recruiting the centrosomal protein, pericentrin. We observed that Sld5-deficient centrosomes lacking pericentrin were unable to endure the CENP-E- and Kid-mediated microtubular forces that converge on the centrosomes during chromosome congression, resulting in monocentriolar and acentriolar spindle poles. The minus-end-directed kinesin-14 motor protein, HSET, sustains the traction forces that mediate centrosomal fragmentation in Sld5-depleted cells. Thus, we report that a DNA replication protein has an as yet unknown function of ensuring spindle pole resistance to traction forces exerted during chromosome congression. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
