Acceptance sampling plans are commonly utilized for planning, process control, and implementation of industrial data sets. In addition to this, they also provide a solution for process quality control. They could be used for executing a decision for acceptance or rejection of a lot. A good acceptance sampling plan can be formulated depending on the requirements of the project. Usually, the plan should follow a defined lifetime distribution. Hence, the appropriate plan would not only determine the plan parameters but would also be cost and time efficient. In this article, an attribute multiple dependent repetitive group sampling (MDRGS) plan is developed assuming that the lifetime of the product follows the Marshall-Olkin logistic-exponential (MOLE) distribution. The parameters of plan are examined by considering a two-point approach. The suggested plan is contrasted with the single sampling and repeated group sampling plans. Finally, the implementation of the proposed plan is discussed using industrial as well as simulated data sets. It is always foreseen to upturn the efficiency of an acceptance sampling plan for lot sentencing. In this research, variable multiple dependent state sampling plan considering the quality cost with rectifying inspection is proposed for normally distributed quality characteristics. The staple objective is to curb the total cost of the lot under inspection and improve the quality of outgoing lots. Tables are constructed for optimal plan parameters by increasing forgoing lots. The behavior of cost parameters on total cost has been investigated. Protection and cost curves are portrayed to show the efficacy of the proposed plan with rectifying single acceptance sampling plan using the cost model. Using the cost model, the proposed plan turns out to be more effectual than the single acceptance sampling plan in terms of sample size, average outgoing quality, and total cost. c i has emerged having a substantial effect on total cost trailed by c o and c f with the tiniest effect. The characterization is an elegant property of distributions that uniquely defines the associated stochastic model. The power function distribution is a flexible model which is often used for the analysis of income data, lifetime data, and modeling of failure procedures. Weighted distributions have wide applications in real-life problems, where the probabilities of events are observed and recorded by making modifications to probabilities of actual occurrence of events considering methods of ascertainment. In this paper, we considered the weighted power function (WPF) distribution and used some reliability measures to characterize it. We characterized the WPF distribution by various techniques like mean inactivity times, mean residual function, conditional moments, conditional variance, doubly truncated mean, incomplete moments and reverse hazard function. In this article, we propose a generalized class of exponential type estimators for estimating the mean of delicate variable in the existence of non-sensitive two auxiliary variables. The performance of mean estimator is obtained by using generalized two stage optional randomized response model. The expression for the bias and the mean square error are obtained up to first degree of approximation. Certain special cases for the generalized class are discussed. An extensive simulation study is performed to determine the performance of the estimators. We proposed a generalized two stage optional randomized response model by single sample approach and developed a generalized exponential type estimator for the mean of sensitive variable using information from a non-sensitive auxiliary variable. Privacy protection and some special cases for the suggested model has also been discussed. Simulation and numerical study are carried out to assess the performance of the suggested estimator. Monitoring the coefficient of variation (CV) is a successful approach in statistical process control to monitor the process variability when the process mean and standard deviation are not constant. In this study, we proposed auxiliary information based exponentially weighted moving CV control chart by using a three-parameter logarithmic transformation to monitor the small and moderate change in process CV. The new chart is compared to the considered charts by means of average run length. The application of the proposed chart is demonstrated to monitor the electric conductivity of a water system by incorporating aggregate hardness of water as an auxiliary variable. This paper examines the attitudes of elite Pakistani consumers concerning their preferences for foreign-made products and how these preferences influence purchasing decisions. Data were collected from a sample of 250 buyers using a mixed methodology consisting of focus groups and a questionnaire survey. The results show a link between the country of origin (COO) of products and purchasing decisions. The nature and extent of this link vary across product class and purchasing decisions. A means-end chain (MEC) analysis revealed a close link between consumers' liking for foreign products connected with how they valued those products both psychologically and physiologically. The findings have implications for attaining a competitive advantage by using marketing strategies to target elite customers. As a pioneering study, this paper advances the theoretical knowledge, providing a framework as well as specific guidelines for practitioners to conceptualise the COO construct. The purpose of this article is to illuminate the dynamics of sibling group support when one sibling has complex needs accompanied by difficult behaviors. A case study of sibling support for a twenty-year-old woman with a disability, a mental health issue, and addictions, drawn from the perspectives of her full brother, her half-brother, and their mother, is presented. The brothers express ambivalence between devotion to supporting their sister and limits to the support they feel able to provide. The limits the brothers place on their support allow them to adhere to their values, preserve their energy and, ultimately, sustain their ability to provide support. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
