The 2-D MXene material has garnered immense attention in the multidisciplinary region due to its high surface area, excellent electrical conductivity, good biocompatibility, and tunable physicochemical properties. MXene nanoparticles can be utilized in thermal ablation to destroy unwanted tissues and tumors without invasive surgery. Therefore, this work investigates MXene (Ti3C2) embedded blood flow over a curved shape stretching artery. The mathematical model for hybrid blood flow is developed to see the thermal changes due to external pressure and diffusion. Furthermore, the flow model PDEs are equipped with Darcy-Forchheimer's condition, external magnetic force, thermal radiation, and heat source/sink. These PDEs are converted into a system of ODEs by a proper similarity conversion. The solution of governing equations are acquired numerically, the flow and thermal performance outputs are exhibited through pictorial and tabular representations. It is revealed that the thermal performance is enhanced due to sphere shaped MXene (Ti3C2) nanoparticles. In recent years, nanotechnological research has introduced hybrid nanofluids, which are advanced fluids with augmented thermal properties that give better results than regular nanofluids. The thermal transfer characteristics of the Falkner-Skan flow of MgO-MoS2/Engine oil hybrid nanofluid induced by a wedge surface with thermophoresis and Brownian motion are numerically investigated. The main objective of this research is to examine the augmented thermal transport behavior of Casson and Carreau hybrid nanofluids. The equations that arise are solved by adopting the bvp5c scheme in MATLAB software. Purpose: To describe the evolution of a giant macular hole in a patient with Alport syndrome and review the literature. Methods: An observational case report is presented with serial clinical examination, visual acuity, fundus photographs, and ocular coherence tomography performed. Results: A man with Alport syndrome and a giant macular hole in one eye developed multiple, small lamellar macular holes which coalesced into a giant full thickness macular hole in the contralateral eye. Conclusions: Giant macular holes may occur in Alport syndrome. The mechanism and clinical progression appear to differ from that of idiopathic macular holes and, is likely related to an abnormality in Type IV collagen in basement membrane of retinal Muller cells. Purpose. New magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) methods can provide high spatial resolution images of the coronary artery wall, and statistically significant differences in coronary vessel wall thickness between atherosclerotic disease patients and control subjects have been shown. The aim of this study is to assess inter-study reproducibility (i.e., repeatability) of the cross-sectional 2D coronary vessel wall MRI using a black-blood technique. Methods and Results. Twelve healthy adult subjects were studied with the use of a commercial 1.5 T CMR system. A double inversion recovery fast spin-echo (FSE) sequence (black blood) was used. Each subject was scanned twice on different days. The mean RCA lumen area difference between study 1 and study 2 was 0.004 mm 2 , and the coefficient of repeatability (COR) was ± 0.06 mm 2 . The mean RCA wall thickness difference between study 1 and study 2 was 0.02 mm, and the COR was ± 0.39 mm. Conclusion. Cross-sectional coronary vessel wall imaging with 2D double-IR FSE is highly reproducible for serial evaluation of coronary vessel walls and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease. AbstractSolar energy is an essential source of clean, renewable energy that has the potential to transform our energy system and reduce impact on the environment. But, only 3.6% of solar energy is effectively used around the globe for electricity generation. So, using solar energy to the maximum extent is essential to control air pollution and save the environment for future generations. This article discusses the operative use of solar energy and suggests measures for optimal solar energy utilization in electric vehicles (EVs). The water-based silicon dioxide (SiO2) and aluminum oxide (Al2O3) combination is considered due to the high refractive index of SiO2 and scratch resistance and durability of Al2O3. A theoretical model was established by considering the shape of the solar collector, temperature change, nano spray, and radiative heat. The modeled problem was computationally resolved using the bvp5c MATLAB scheme, and simultaneous results were explored for various outlines of solar collectors. It is found that the shape of the solar collector and nanospray/nanocoating play a significant role in the practical usage of solar energy. Using curved-shaped solar collectors with water-SiO2-Al2O3 nanocoating allows the solar collector to absorb more light. Majority of farmers in India are irrigating their crops without using any irrigation scheduling criteria. Consequently, the application of excess irrigation water causes water logging, wastage of precious water resources, plant diseases, soil salinity as well as the lack of water results into crop water stress. In the present research work an automated Wireless Gypsum Block Sensor Network System (WSN) was developed to automate irrigation scheduling. The developed gypsum blocks sensors were interlinked with Global System for Mobile (GSM) Module with a microcontroller unit. The sensor performed well in the range of 10–19% volumetric moisture content. These sensors were reliable in the range of 30–90 kPa. The sensors highly correlated with coefficient of determinationR2 = 0.93 with slope 0.13 and small relative root mean square error (RRMSE) for given soil moisture potential at depth of 30–45 cm. The microcontroller starts the pump when soil moisture content reaches below the field capacity (FC) and stops when field reaches at FC of a given threshold rage 15–18. BiOCl, BiOBr, and BiOI have been synthesized by wet chemical route using bismuth nitrate (Bi(NO3)3.5H2O) and potassium halides, KCl, KBr, and KI, using a mixture of de-ionized water and ethanol as the solvent. Synthesized samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction and high-resolution SEM to observe the crystalline phase and crystallite size. Effective surface areas of the synthesized samples were estimated by Brunauer–Emmett–Teller studies. Photoactive properties of these samples were studied under three types of light exposure conditions viz. UV light from mercury vapour lamp, natural sunlight, and visible radiations from a 100-W incandescent tungsten filament. Degradation of methyl orange (MO) in aqueous media was estimated spectrophotometerically in visible range from the area under the curve with a peak at 464 nm. Kinetic constant for degradation reaction was calculated assuming the pseudo-first-order degradation mechanism. It was revealed that all the three samples show excellent degradation of MO in UV exposure with BiOCl as the most efficient photocatalyst in these radiations. BiOBr shows highest photodegradation performance among the three samples under natural sunlight exposure.
