The undoped and Cr doping ZnS nanostructures have been synthesized using the solvothermal methods. X-ray diffraction measurements indicate that undoped and Cr doping ZnS nanosheet exhibit a wurtzite structure. The nanosheets have rule morphologies, with a thickness of approximately 30–80 nm, a width of 150–300 nm, and a length of 170–470 nm. The results of component analysis indicated that the sample contained Cd, S and Cr. The optical characteristic of undoped ZnS nanosheet is investigated using UV-Visible spectroscopy. From the magnetic research, it can be observed that undoped ZnS nanosheet displays diamagnetism at room temperature, while Cr doping ZnS nanosheet displays ferromagnetism. Spontaneous magnetization ($M_s$Ms) of Cr doping ZnS nanosheet (Cr = 8.35at%) is roughly 8.961 (10−3emu/g), and coercivity ($H_c$Hc) is roughly 90.554Oe. Ferromagnetism of Cr-doping ZnS nanosheet may be induced by the dual exchange mechanism principle. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
