The article discusses the significance of power management to companies in the U.S. Due to the rising costs of power and fuel, companies are constantly looking for ways to minimize their power consumption, thus decreasing their expenses and maximizing their profits. Some resorted to use energy minimizer equipment or be more environmentally conscious by creating a need for managed services around power management. Meanwhile, government agencies across the country are furnishing guidelines and tax breaks that would measure how much carbon companies are dumping into the environment. With such rule, it limits the carbon emission that companies cannot exceed and saving energy will be directly coupled to environmental regulations.
