Flower-like TiO2 hierarchical structures were synthesized by a solvothermal strategy using tetrabutyl titanate as the titanium source. The obtained flower-like TiO2 hierarchical structures were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), specific surface area analysis, Raman spectroscopy and energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). Results show that the flower-like hierarchical structures are composed of anatase titanium dioxide. TiO2 nanowires are first formed by the self-assembly of nanocrystals with a diameter of 20 nm, and then several TiO2 nanowires produce a petal-like structure. Finally, flower-like TiO2 hierarchical structures with a diameter of 2 ~ 2.3 μm are assembled by these petal-like structures. The electrochemical properties of the flower-like TiO2 hierarchical structures were studied by using these hierarchical structures as the anode material in a lithium-ion battery. The flower-like TiO2 hierarchical structures have an initial discharge capacity of 473.9 mAh/g at a current density of 100 mA/g and an initial discharge capacity of 244.4 mAh/g at a current density of 2 A/g in the potential range of 0.01~3 V. The photocatalytic properties of the flower-like TiO2 hierarchical structures were studied by degrading methyl orange (MO) solution under ultraviolet (UV) light irradiation. When used as a photocatalyst, the degradation rate of MO is 95.8% after 40 min of UV irradiation, showing that the flower-like TiO2 hierarchical structures have excellent photocatalytic activity.

At present, SOFC research mainly focuses on the development of new medium and low temperature cathode materials or the improvement of existing cathodes, as well as the development of new anodes resistant to carbon deposition and sulfur poisoning. However, during the discharge state, the diffusion of metal elements in the electrolyte caused by the constant current is rarely studied. In order to analyze whether there is a diffusion of electrode elements at the electrode-electrolyte interface, and the effect of this diffusion on the mechanical properties of the SOFC. Polarization test of the half-cell of YSZ electrolyte and LSM cathode was carried out at 950°C with the current load of -300 mA·cm-2 in an air atmosphere, and the polarization time was different. The powders were analyzed by XRD. A post-test analysis of the cathode-electrolyte interface was tested by using SEM, EDX and EPMA. Finally, the Vickers hardness was used to measure the mechanical properties of YSZ electrolyte. The results show that the Mn element has diffused into the YSZ electrolyte after constant current. In addition, it has a certain impact on the mechanical properties of the cell.

This paper focuses on how bending and springback process of the titanium tubes with different bending radius and bending angle affect the springback rate after unloading and analyses tube distributions and variations of stress and strain by establishing a three-dimensional elastic-plastic finite element model of square TA18 titanium alloy tube based on ABAQUS/explicit and ABAQUS/standard. It is shown that under the same process parameters, the sprignback rate obtained by numerical simulation is in good agreement with that measured in the experiments. The springback rate after unloading increases with the increase of the bending radius linearly, and it increases nonlinearly with the decrease of bending angle. The distribution of the tube-roundness and the relationship between its roundness and springback rate under different process parameters could be obtained by comparing the variation of the absolute value of its outer wall unit at the maximum principal strain before and after unloading.

The treatment process of a tooth every short period has many disadvantages to the dental patient, for instance, wasting time, losing money, and tiring the dental patient. Therefore, selecting the suitable technique for treating the tooth, with increasing the lifetime of the tooth has become more necessary in the daily life of the dental scientists. In the present days, an Endodontic Prefabricated Post (EPP) plays an important vital role in the treatment process of the tooth. Comparisons among von Mises stress, shear stress, and deformation of homogenous cases were investigated in the present work through the finite element analysis (FEA). The effect of EPP material on von Mises stress, shear stress, and deformation components occurred on the dentin in cases of Functionally Graded Endodontic Prefabricated Post (FGEPP), and EPP-homogenous was carried out. After that, the sub-problem approximation method was adopted for determining the optimum material gradient for a FGEPP.

SOFC single cell use the preparation process of precision casting-screen printing-co-sintering and developed a new electrode such as precious metal ceramic electrode. Although SOFC single battery comprehensive performance indicators in our country are currently synchronized with the international advanced technology level, the new precious metal ceramic electrode has not been tested for long-term operation of the full battery. In order to analyze the practicality of the new noble metal ceramic electrode, especially whether the noble metal electrode is one of the factors that cause performance degradation, this paper studies whether the noble metal Pd electrode would diffuse into the YSZ electrolyte during the energization process. The composition and morphology of the electrolytes of 350h half-cell was analyzed by the battery polarization test, SEM, EDX and Electron etching depth analysis of XPS. The result shows that the noble metal Pd element has diffused more than 100 nm into the YSZ electrolyte after 350h constant current.

The success in the chewing process depends on the performance of the tooth used. Actually, taking care of the tooth and improving its performance can change our life. Therefore, the treatment process of the teeth has become more necessary in the life of a dental patient. Nowadays, a post plays an important vital role in this process. In the present work, analysis of the effect of the post material on the performances of the components of endodontically treated teeth (ETT) was carried out through the finite element analysis (FEA). The effects of post material on the von Mises stress component (Svon), shear stress, and displacement component (Usum) occurred on the all components of ETT were investigated. After that, the determination of the optimum material for an endodontic prefabricated post (EPP) was investigated through the sub-problem approximation method.

Co-Ni alloys in which Co, Ni, Cr and Mo are principal elements, exhibit an impressive combination of high strength, high toughness, and excellent corrosion resistance. In this study, the effects of cold-rolled combined with the heat-treatment ranged from 673 to 973 K from 1hour to 10 hours on the mechanical properties and microstructures of Co-Ni alloys were investigated systematically. The relations between the aging temperature and mechanical properties were concluded. The initial ultimate tensile strength of 790 MPa increased to 1808 MPa by cold rolled 80 pct. After aging the cold-rolled alloy (80 pct ) at temperature 773K for 4hours, the ultimate tensile strength and the hardness reached to 2220MPa and 759(HV), respectively. It is found that the material was hardened by the cold working and aging which provided the second hardening. However, TEM observations and X-ray diffractions suggested that no structural change could be found. The cold deformation introduced platelets of a few atomic layers in thickness less than 100 nm, which were identified as stacking faults. A high density of nanoplatelets and dislocations, piled up in the vicinity of twin plate strengthened materials. The aging treatment provided the second major source of strengthening after cold-working (and only after cold-working) by the formation of secondary twins. The ultimate strength resulted from that the intersection of deformation twins and secondary twins blocking the dislocation movement.

The goal of this study is to identify LaCo0.6Ni0.4O3-δ (LCN) as reliable cathode contact material for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). LCN was prepared through the polymeric steric entrapment precursor route and calcined at 800 °C which shows single perovskite phase. Area specific resistance (ASR) of LCN was measured at 750 °C. The investigation shows that the ASR can be maintained about 50 mΩ·cm2 for 100 hours operation, and presented ASR stability within 10th thermal cycles. The excellent performance of LCN is attributed to good interface adhesion between LCN and interconnect alloy.

The hydroforming process of the aluminum alloy panel was simulated by the software DYNAFORM. The effects of process parameters (blank holder force, depth of panel and height of draw bead) on springback of the aluminum alloy were investigated. The max springback of the panel was analyzed by weighted scoring method. Then the process parameters were synthetically optimized for the max positive and negative springback. The results showed that the height of draw bead affects obviously the comprehensive springback of the panel. The optimization of the process parameters obtained by the orthogonal experiment can effectively reduce the max springback of the panel.

The static dent resistance performance of the aluminum alloy panel formed using viscous pressure forming (VPF) is studied by experimental methods. The successive load is used to cause the aluminum alloy panel dent in the static dent resistance test. The influence of the curvature radius and VPF process parameters on the static dent resistance performance is researched. Results show that the panel with the smaller radius has a larger stiffness and static dent resistance; the adequate drawing depth can optimum the static dent resistance performance of the double-curved panel and the drawbead also can increase the stiffness and static dent resistance.

Sacrificial anode protection of stainless steel is required in severe application environment. In this paper, two kinds of Fe-based sacrificial anodes (20CrMo and 20CrMn) were used to protect 310S stainless steel. Protective effects were evaluated through constant current test and self-discharge test. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS) were used to analyze the surface morphology and element composition of 310S cathodes after the tests. Experimental result indicates that both Fe-based sacrificial anodes have a driving voltage over 500mV, which enables a longer life than those of the Al-based or Zn-based anodes. The 20CrMo sacrificial anode presented more stable working potential, better state of activation and more uniform corrosion behavior than 20CrMn sacrificial anode did. The 310S cathode protected by 20CrMo had smoother surface and less oxide formation on the substrate.

7072Al is widely used as cladding layer for heat-transfer components. In this paper, the microstructure, mechanical properties and electrochemical properties of simulated-brazing 7072Al alloy with Zn addition were investigated. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations revealed that, in the simulated-brazing state, Zn-addition could promote the precipitation in the 7072Al alloy. Tensile testing results indicated that, in comparison with 7072Al alloy, the mechanical properties were improved after Zn-addition. Electrochemical testing results revealed that the simulated-brazing alloy showed a negative shift of the corrosion potential with the addition of Zn element.

Flow behavior and microstructure evolution of 2297 Al-Cu-Li alloy were investigated by isothermal compression tests conducted at the deformation temperature of 300-500°C and strain rates of 0.001-10s-1. The results demonstrate that the characteristics of stress-strain curves depended on the interaction of work hardening and dynamic softening. The true stress increased with the decreasing of temperature and the increasing of the strain rate. At a given deformation condition, the flow curve consisted of three stages: stage I (work hardening stage), stage II (softening stage) and stage III (steady stage). Deformation temperature and strain rate had a great influence on microstructure evolution. 2297 alloy deformed at low temperature (300°C) and high strain rate (10s-1) showed a DRV characteristic. As deformed at high temperature (500°C) and low strain rate (0.001s-1), DRX gradually become the main softening mechanism. The measured flow stress was friction corrected and then employed to develop constitutive equations on the basis of the Arrhenius-type equation by considering the effect of the strain on material constants by a sixth orders polynomials. Flow stress value of 2297 alloy predicted by the proposed constitutive equations shows a good agreement with experimental results, thereby confirming the validity of the developed constitutive relation.

Quantitative structure and activity relationship (QSAR) method is becoming more desirable for predicting of corrosion inhibition properties. The inhibition efficiency of organic compounds is dependent on many basic molecular descriptors, including structural descriptors, thermodynamic descriptors, information content descriptors, topological descriptors as Wiener index, Zagreb index and molecular connectivity indices. A genetic function approximation approach was used to run the regression analysis and establish correlations between different types of descriptors and measured corrosion inhibition efficiency for imidazole derivatives. A QSAR equation was developed and used to predict the corrosion inhibition efficiency for 18 imidazole derivatives. The prediction of corrosion efficiencies of these compounds nicely matched the experimental measurements.

One of the most widely used techniques in present-day in order to save teeth is endodontic treatment (ET). Nowadays, a post or a dowel is widely used in the tooth treatment process. The aims of the current investigation are to: (1) evaluate the stress distribution surrounding the endodontic prefabricated parallel post (EPPP), gutta-percha, and dentin with six types of post materials, and (2) determine the optimum material of an EPPP. Six post materials: (1) carbon fibre post (CFP), (2) gold (G), (3) gold alloy (GA), (4) titanium (T), (5) titanium alloy (TA), and (6) stainless steel (SS) were selected in the present work. In order to evaluate the stress distribution surrounding the EPPP, gutta-percha, and dentin with different post materials, the finite element analysis (FEA) is adopted. After that, the sub-problem approximation method was used in order to investigate the optimum material of an EPPP. The results obtained indicate that the optimum elastic characteristics for the EPPP, elastic modulus (E), and Poisson’s ratio (υ) equal to 185 GPa and 0.245, respectively.

The main purpose of the present work is to determine the optimum gradation direction of an endodontic prefabricated parallel post (EPPP) made of functionally graded material (FGM). To determine the optimum gradation direction of an EPPP made of FGM, the finite element method (FEM) is used. After that, the optimization technique was adopted in order to determine the optimum material gradient for the functionally graded endodontic prefabricated parallel post (FGEPPP). Simulation results indicated that, the optimum gradation direction for the FGEPPP is from up to down, and can be described by using a modified sigmoid function. The effect of varying of the material gradient indexes on the performance of the (FGEPPP) is investigated. Also, stress distributions in all of FGEPPP cases and in homogeneous EPPP case are investigated. The current investigation shows that, the use of the FGM improves the performance of an EPPP.

Plates are one of the most important structural components used in many industries like aerospace, marine and various other engineering fields and thus motivate designers and engineers to study the vibrational characteristics of these structures. A lot of research work and studies have been done to study its vibration characteristics. This paper is a review of existing literature on vibration analysis of plates. Focus has been kept on prominent studies related to isotropic plates based on Mindlin plate theory; however few citations on orthotropic plates and higher order shear deformation theories have also been included. All citations are in English language. This review is aimed to provide contemporarily relevant survey of papers on vibrational characteristics of thick plates and identification of various methods and approaches that have been used to study the vibration characteristics. This paper will not only be useful for scientists, designers and researchers to locate important and relevant literature/research quickly but will also help them to identify and apply some of these methods and approaches to study the vibration characteristics of various other 2D and 3D structures.

In this paper, the harmonic distortion of fourth-order sigma-delta modulator is analyzed. Based on the analysis non-ideal models are established and simulation results demonstrated the validity of these models. The non-linear capacitors introduce harmonic distortion and the non-linear on-resistance nearly only introduce second order harmonic distortion. The non-ideal integrators can increase the noise floor of the modulator.The fully-differential topology can be adopted to eliminate even order harmonic distortion and the operational amplifier with high performance can also be used to decrease noise floor of the modulator.

The identification of the optimum material of an endodontic prefabricated parallel post (EPPP) is carried out in the current study. The primary goal of the current work is to analyze the effect of post material on the stress distribution surrounding EPPP. Ten different post materials: 1-carbon fibre (CF), 2-gold alloy (GA), 3-titanium alloy (TA), 4-stainless steel (SS), 5-composite resin (CR), 6-fiber reinforced composite (FRFC), 7-carbon (C), 8-glass fiber (GF), 9-zirconia (Z), and 10-ribbond fiber+bonding agent+flowable composite (RBF) are used in the present work. In order to identify the best post material, the stress distribution surrounding EPPP with the previous materials are investigated through finite element analysis (FEA). The results obtained show that, the best material of an EPPP is GF. In this study, in order to identify the optimum material of an EPPP, the optimization technique is adopted. The results obtained show that, the optimum values of elastic modulus (E) and Poisson’s ratio (υ) equal to 63.69 GPa and 0.214115, respectively. These resulting values mean that, the optimum material of an EPPP is borosillicate glass (BG).

A study of the effect of material gradient on the performance of a functionally graded endodontic prefabricated parallel post (FGEPPP) is the main goal of the current study. Elastic modulus (E) of FGEPPP is considered to vary continuously from lower to upper surfaces. This variation is performed according the volume fraction. Based on a modified sigmoid function, the volume fraction will be defined in the present work. The primary goal of the current investigation is to analyze the difference between the performance of a homogeneous endodontic prefabricated parallel post (EPPP) and a FGEPPP through finite element analysis (FEA). In the current investigation, von Mises stress, and shear stress in FGEPPP case with a modified sigmoid function and in homogeneous EPPP case are carried out. After that, the effect of material gradient on the performance of an EPPP made of FGM was carried out through FEA in the current investigation. The simulation cases shown that, the maximum values of von Mises stress, and shear stress increase when increasing the value of “D”, and decrease when increasing the value of “w”.

The Internet of Things (IoT) technology has been extending its applications in the electric power system since the very beginning of the construction of the smart grid in China. Under such a background, this paper first discusses the technical principles and development goals of the IoT for the electric power system, which can also be called the “power grid IoT” in brief. And then, according to the technical principles mentioned above and the common guidance released by the power grid authorities, this paper presents an IoT technology based Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for substations. The key technologies, functions and applications of the system are described respectively. The design of an extremely long-life and stable wireless temperature sensor is presented in detail. The functions of the SCADA system include substation equipment status monitoring, 3D-visualization, environment monitoring, spare parts location, asset management and so on. The applications of such a system can be regarded as efficient methods for substation intelligent operation and maintenance.

In this paper, we address the problem to power impairment in amplified WDM communication networks with ROADM (Reconfigurable Optical Add-Drop Multiplexers), in order to improve the performance of communication systems. In dynamic transmission network, we propose a new control strategy that effectively adjusts signal power in the chain network. The results of simulation show that the proposed control strategy could effectively adjust better channel power and reduce the amount of adjustment to achieve transmission performance.

Zinc acetate (ZnAc)/PVP composite fibers were prepared by electrospinning technique and pure inorganic ZnO nanofibers were then obtained after the calcination of the composite fibers at 600°C for 2.5h. The effects of the parameters during the spinning process on the composite fibers and ZnO nanofibers were investigated. Uniform in diameters and continuous nanofibers without liquid beads could be obtained with the polymer concentration of 15%, the spinning voltage of 11kV, the receiving distance of 20cm and the rate of sample propulsion of 1.5uL/min. The XRD detection demonstrated the construction of ZnO for nanofibers after the calcinations of the composite fibers.

Restenosis is a re-narrowing or blockage of an artery at the same site where treatment like stent procedure has already taken place. The aim of this study is to more conclusively identify the mechanical stimulus for in-stent restenosis by means of numerical model based on the finite element method. The finite element model simulating the stent, balloon, crimping tool and artery interaction in the coronary artery is developed. The present model is used to determine the stress distribution in the artery wall followed by stent implantation. It is indicated that the compliance mismatch of stent with vascular induces the stress concentration in the stented artery, which impact the level of vascular injury caused to the artery by the stent. This study supports the hypothesis that the artery develops restenosis in response to injury, where high vessel stresses are a good measure of the injury.

Functionally graded materials (FGMs) have become helpful in our engineering applications. Analysis of functionally graded material (FGM) plate during debonding case with different boundary conditions is the main purpose of this investigation. Elastic modulus (E) of functionally graded (FG) plate is assumed to vary continuously throughout the height of the plate, according the volume fraction of the constituent materials based on a modified sigmoid function, but the value of Poisson coefficient is constant. In this research, the finite element method (FEM) is used in order to show the shape of a plate made of FGM during debonding case with different boundary conditions. In the present investigation, the displacement value applied to the FGM plate is changed in order to find the relationship between the maximum von Mises stress and the displacement. Also, the relationship between the maximum shear stress and the displacement is carried out in the present work. The material gradient indexes of the FGM plate are changed from 1 to 10. The stress distributions around the debonding zone with all the material gradient indexes of the FGM plate are investigated in this work.

Foreground detection is an important part in video surveillance system. The detection results will significantly affect the performance of tracking, abnormal behavior analysis and other following procedures. Many algorithms have been proposed to improve the detection performance. However, these algorithms simply focus on one single frame, ignoring the relationship among the detection results of one target in successive frames. This paper presents a novel foreground enhancement algorithm using Hidden Markov Model (HMM). In a video sequence, one target in successive frames usually has similar shape, size, et al. With this property, the target can be modeled by HMM and enhanced using the result of its prior frame. The observation of HMM is obtained by ViBe. The enhancement result is then estimated by using Maximum A Posteriori (MAP). Experimental results show that compared with the state-of-art algorithm, the proposed method can enhance foreground detection effectively.

In 1981~2012, the general urban wastewater in Shanghai was between 1.775~2.420 billion tons. Among the urban wastewater, the industrial wastewater emissions before 1988 was more than 1.4 billion tons, then, it was declining to about 649 million tons at 2002, a low value in the past 30 years, less than 50% of the 1980s. The percentage of industrial wastewater in the total urban wastewater discharge is falling from 76.9% in 1981 to under 30% in recent years. The living wastewater emissions increased from 424 million tons in 1981 to 1.697 billion tons in 2012. There is a relationship between the living wastewater increasing and the increase of the permanent residents in Shanghai. At the same time, the living wastewater emissions per capita per day were significantly increased from 100 kg (liter) around 1980s to around 190 kg (liter) in recent years. From 1995, the treatment and management of urban wastewater was continuing to intensify in Shanghai. The ratio of wastewater treating has increasing from 6.35% in 1995 to 85.62% of the total urban wastewater in 2012. Comparing the social-economic development and management of wastewater discharge in Shanghai, it can be seen, the wastewater emissions increasing amplitude was far less than the sizes of population growth and economic growth in the past 30 years

Based on the systematic fieldwork and the sampling of soil and corn, this paper studied the geochemical characteristic and the characteristic of total and available Ni in black soil and corn and the effects on them by the geochemical methods and SPSS software. The aim was to show the characteristic of Ni transformation and accumulation through soil-crop continuum and the influencing factors for food security. The results showed that total Ni in black soil of Jilin Province are above Jilin and national background level, the content of Ni is keeping the natural background in black soil in Jilin province. The influence of human activities in this district till now is comparatively less. The transformation degree of available Ni is relatively high. The degree of Ni accumulation in corn is low. The total Ni in soil have controlled effect on the available Ni, and the total Cu, Cr, Zn and the available Cr play a significant role in Ni transformation. The slight acid soil is better for Ni transformation and accumulation.

The R&D capacity of China and US in the field of Clean Coal Technology are compared, the advantageous institutes in this field are identified. The cooperation trend between China and US on Clean Coal technology is analyzed. Some suggestions are proposed based on the data analysis.

At present, there are many methods of the dredger fill foundation treatment, in which the most widely used application of vacuum preloading method. The dredger fill for test was taken from the Tianjin Binhai new area center fishing port area, separately carried on the self-weight consolidation and vacuum preloading consolidation. Through the indoor test of soil test physical and chemical parameters, comparing the moisture content, soluble salt amount and component, caption exchange capacity, PH value and physical and chemical index. The results show that: the clay content of soil sample in the central fishing port area is higher, degree of aggregation is high, liquid limit is less than 60%, Ip is more than 10, belongs to the low liquid limit clay. Relative self-weight consolidation, soluble salt content of soil samples after vacuum preloading drainage treatment are low, but the particle size composition change less. It is said that parts of salt in the soil samples discharge with water discharge in vacuum preloading process, vacuum preloading effect is better. The immunization algorithm is from the theory of complex network. The algorithm is simple, highly feasible based on scale-free network model. This paper uses random immunization algorithm to solve optical network energy issues. This paper selects the service to be the operator and to save energy through node immunization. The simulation results show the algorithm can be implemented. This paper provides another possibility to energy saving on optical network.

A progressive transmission and decoding nearly lossless compression algorithm is proposed. The image data are grouped according to different frequencies based on DCT transform, then it uses the JPEG-LS core algorithmtexture prediction and Golomb coding on each group of data, in order to achieve progressive image transmission and decoding. Experimentation on the standard test images with this algorithm and comparing with JPEG-LS shows that the compression ratio of this algorithm is very similar to the compression ratio of JPEG-LS, and this algorithm loses a little image information but it has the ability of the progressive transmission and decoding.

The viscous pressure forming (VPF) was applied to form an automotive aluminum alloy panel in this paper. The formability of the panel was investigated. Further, the springback characteristics of the panel were analyzed. The results show that the viscous medium is helpful to improve the flow of the sheet blank. The positive and negative springback occur for the panel formed by VPF. It is different from the panel formed by rigid punch forming, in which only the positive springback occurs. Furthermore, the springback value of the panel formed by VPF is smaller than the latter.

Modeling concrete compressive strength is useful to ensure quality of civil engineering. This paper aims to compare several Extreme learning machines (ELMs) based modeling approaches for predicting the concrete compressive strength. Normal ELM algorithm, Partial least square-based extreme learning machines (PLS-ELMs) algorithm and Kernel ELM (KELM) algorithm are used and evaluated. Results indicate that the normal ELMs algorithm has the highest modeling speed, and the KELM has the best prediction accuracy. Every method is validated for modeling concrete compressive strength. The appropriate modeling approach should be selected according different purposes.

Corrosion behaviors of ultra high strength steel 22MnB5 and its weld were studied based on electrochemical method in the present work. Electrochemical measurements such as Tafel polarization curve and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were performed to investigate the corrosion mechanisms of 22MnB5 steel and its weld. The testing results indicated the weld metal possessed less corrosion resistance than the base metal, and the main reason for this phenomenon is the microstructure variation of the weld metal.

Low carbon community is an essential cell and it can be considered as the basic to achieve low carbon development strategy. Due to high energy consumption of commercial and residential buildings in the community, it is of great importance to reconsider the building structure and exploit renewable energy systems to minimize conventional energy consumption and improve living quality. In this paper, various low carbon technologies, strategies and lifestyles which are relevant with green buildings in the community have been discussed, including reasonable design, green roof system, utilization of renewable energy sources, change of low carbon living mode and energy-related behavior.

The Chengzigou hydropower station of composite geomembrane rockfill dam as an example of the dam body and the composite geotechnical membrane stress and deformation characteristics are used nonlinear elastic model - Duncan EB model establish three-dimensional finite element model of rockfill,by using the large finite element softwareFLAC3D,whice provided geogrid element to simulate lexible geomembrane shear interaction with soil.The stress and deformation of the dam and the composite geomembrane is calculated under two conditionscompletion period and impoundment period.And analyze the change of the stress and strain distribution rule,whice will provide the basis for the design of the geomembrane.

The paper uses digital image processing technology, technology of face pattern recognition and traditional database retrieval technology, integrate image retrieval technology based on version and content, and avoid the complexity of matching image process. The experiments with 200 human samples, correctly retrieved for 155 people, exactly matched to 125. The recognition rate of the system is 75.55%, the average time of search is less than 0.1s. Experiments indicate this method has strong robustness. The semantic face image retrieval system using this method has the characteristics of fast, efficient, practical.

Select the business volume to be the operator and to save energy through node sleeping. The simulation confirms the algorithm can be implemented. This paper provides another possibility on optical networks energy conservation.

We proposed an approach for estimating the density of salt-pepper noise in images with correlation inspection. The correlation coefficients histogram was introduced in this paper to depict the correlation distributions of images. Based on the fact that the correlation distributions of natural images are nearly independent of individual images, we revealed how the correlation coefficients histogram of the noisy image deviates from that of natural image along with the noise density in qua- ntitative form, thus we took advantage of this relation to make estimation. Simulation results showed that the proposed approach outperforms those of existing methods.

Regional technology transfer alliance consists of universities, scientific research institutions, enterprises, governments and technology agencies. Through the behavior game analysis of profit allocation between technology transfer participants, we propose that the profit allocation in regional technology transfer alliance is a consequence of gaming process among the participants. The governments and technology agencies should undertake the technology transfer market value assessment and market regulation to improve a sustained and stable cooperation in technology transfer between the technology supplier and demander. The transfer profit can realize by the ways of lump sum payment or payment by instalments, royalty payment, mixed royalty payment, production investment payment, service investment payment and mixed payment.

The gluing control system designed for production plants to manufacture flap-disks was investigated using programmable logic controller (PLC) and servo. The system has been mainly developed to achieve efficient gluing for the back cover. It is implemented by a PLC, a human-machine interface (HMI), a positioning module and sensors, as well as servo amplifiers and motors. Issues was discussed in this paper, such as connection of the hardware, working mechanism design, capacity selection of servo motors, high-speed and uniform gluing, means of pre-opening and delayed-shutoff for the needle valve and etc. Hardware and software was developed for the system and high-precision gluing was achieved. The device has been provided for industrial applications, which has greatly improved the production quality and efficiency.

This paper proposes a nearby phase search (NPS) algorithm based on BPS estimation algorithm in optical coherent receivers. And its suitable for arbitrary multi-level modulation. Making use of the continuity of phase change, the proposed NPS algorithm is applied to process nearby symbols by taking the pre-estimation phase of each symbol block as reference point. Compared to the traditional blind phase search (BPS) algorithm and its improved two-stage BPS algorithm, the performance of the proposed NPS algorithm is greatly improved in ultra-high speed coherent optical transmission system. By the simulation, the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed algorithm are demonstrated in 28GBaud 16-QAM and 64-QAM system. Its shown that the computational complexity of the NPS algorithm greatly reduces in the guarantee of laser line width tolerance and bit error rate.

In this paper, we presented an improved equalization algorithm which use Least Mean Square algorithm (LMS) training-based as pre-convergence, after reaching the threshold, equalization switches to directed decision LMS to compensate a various of impairs and decrease bit error rate (BER) to achieve better performance in the steady-state, the experiment is based on a 28GbaudMQAM polarization multiplexing optical coherent system.
